  1. And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you. - Leviticus 11:7 Lots of blasphemous Christians out there (many Jews as well). I hope the baker didn't have bacon for breakfast, or deep fry anything in lard.
  2. The White House is already back peddling on Trump's universal background checks, I guess he is scared of the NRA after all.
  3. Canada buys more from the US than the other way around, Canada is the largest customer for the US.
  4. Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee? - John 21:20 So just who was the beloved disciple, that is having the intimate relationship with Jesus?
  5. Canada should slap a huge tariff on corn and its byproducts, we would be a lot healthier that way
  6. That's ok, Trump got booed for doing it..... by Republicans.
  7. Canada's GDP is three times that of Sweden - means has nothing to do with it. Sounds like Congressmen wheeling and dealing to get a share of military procurement from their district. So what if it drives up the cost 100 fold, they can buy votes that way. Ever see an elephant around a mouse?
  8. So you are saying the Harper bought his way into the Prime Minister office with $56 billion of taxpayer money? No Harper gave away tax revenue to foreign owners of corporations, something you Conservatives don't understand.
  9. I believe there is only one Prime Minister in history to be handed a $11 billion dollar surplus on a golden platter and squander it away in a couple of years and give us a $56 billion deficit. I don't recall his name of the top of my head, anyone care to help me?
  10. The greatest irony is that the NRA installed the man who actually said he want's to grab your guns and without due process.
  11. Elvis was seen in the vicinity of Seth Rich.
  12. Did you know he has been practicing law for 25 years? Do you know that he specializes in criminal, constitutional and national security law? Do you know that he has been teaching law at UofT for almost 20 years? Do you know that he is one of very very lawyers to get the necessary high level security required for security certificate proceedings?
  13. Speaking of Breitbart, you should read GQ
  14. Then remove the politicians from the equation, and only publish the platforms. The become binding. It is called direct democracy. Otherwise if you want representative democracy then you need to judge the politicians as well, based on their past performance.
  15. Could you cite the cases upon which you base that claim?
  16. Dateline February 28, 2018: George Soros caught at border, holding the gate open for illegal Mexicans. Film at 11. Everyone loves a good bogyman story.
  17. You forgot the barbed wire, towers, and searchlights.
  18. Spring is a lovey time of year, the flowers start to bud but we may get the occasional snowflake landing in buttercups.
  19. I see, so in other words you know no more about him that I do. That is fine, and it is fine to have an opinion. I am just pointing out that an uniformed opinion is just that.
  20. Great, can we have an entire list of who he has defended. You obviously know that because you speak with such authority.
  21. I grew up during that time in the Protestant School Board of Greater Montreal. I remember in grade school singing O'Canada, and God Save the Queen, but I don't remember any pledge to the flag. We certainly stood when we sang, and probably saluted the flag at least during O'Canada. I think God Save the Queen got dropped probably about the early 70's. I don't specifically recall any Bible passages being read, if they ever were it would be the exception and not the daily ritual. The school board was English, and despite the name was what one would consider public. There was also a large English Catholic school board, as I remember they had about the same enrollment in our area but over the entire city I think they were smaller.
  22. So you are saying we saying we should judge lawyers by who they represent? The legal system is only to benefit those we like? I have no background on his lawyer, but it seems that nobody out there making noise does either. The worst judicial appointment in world history was Vic Toews.
  23. So what did the replacement CF-101 and CF-104 "widow maker" cost?
  24. Concerning costs: $11 million US per detainee at Guantanamo Bay - per year $10.5 million Canadian for Khdar - one time only Perhaps we should be seeing compensation in amount of $11 million a year from the US government.
  25. I saw your earlier response to eyeball, I will let him answer. I was only referencing the logic he expressed, not the actual history. I think that brings us into the territory of NORAD and A.V.Roe and a lot of other things that happened at the time.
