    The Champlain bridge in Montreal is not even that old, about 60 years, but it seriously needed replacement. Certainly capacity was one issue, but even more serious is that it was falling apart. Many things built in the 50's,60', and 70's were done very poorly; before that time we had much better quality, and after that time we recognized the failures of that time and have improved on things. I can't answer for the Pattullo bridge, but age is not the only factor that needs be considered.

    I grieve for a statue, it represented all that was right with the British invaders. How they offered a cash bounty to anyone who killed a Mi'kmaw person. Future generations would call it genocide, but I just prefer to call it spring cleaning.

    Not quite true, you conveniently ignored the "at this time" qualifier. Another way to look at this is they really don't have an urgent need to fill this position so they will try and address their failure to have proper diversity until the matter becomes more urgent.

    I never said he did, I am talking about the people excusing that type of behavior. You have done that many times in this case. Now we have people riled up about unknown allegations from an anonymous source about an anonymous MPP, and everyone is on that because they think the anonymous MPP is a liberal. It seems that the facts are totally irrelevant to some, it is simply how can they leverage them.

    Are you saying all gun owners are the same? There is a world of difference between someone that has a hunting rifle or two, and someone with an arsenal of assault weapons modified for automatic fire (brass rainbow). The one difference between America and Canada is that there are also a large number of handgun owners in America, but most of them couldn't shoot straight if their weapon didn't jam in the first place.

    Sorry, I forgot. He isn't Muslim or native so he is a human being. Where were you the 39 times the police showed up at his door in the past 5-6 years, or when the FBI got his name from a post saying he would be the next school shooter, or the numerous times he got in trouble at school including being expelled?

    Weigh in on what, a tweet that says absolutely nothing? I have never stated that - period. I have made comments about the nature of the allegations since some like to pretend they don't mean anything. I have made comments about people making allegations based on nothing but their own wishes, like those against these women and CTV. I keep trying to bring the conversation back to talking about facts, or alleged facts, yet you keep coming up with fairy dust.
