  1. I'll see your Fox News and raise you MSNBC, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, The New York Times and The Washington Post.
  2. LA Times Obama-Rashid Khalidi Video: $175,000 Reward Offered for Tape The LA Times still refuses to release the video of Barack Obama and PLO spokesman Rashid Khalidi. $175,000 has been raised for a copy of the tape. ALSO: the guest list, Michelle O's terror fund-raiser friend, two explosive quotes from a Doug Ross tip. McCain calls for video's release Yahoo As it's been stated on several blogs, If the Los Angeles Times had a video of John McCain toasting a supporter of the old South African apartheid government, does anyone think they wouldn't release it without hesitation? Sarah Palin said it best: "It must be nice for a candidate to have major news organizations looking out for their best interests like that. Politicians would love to have a pet newspaper of their very own,"
  3. Yes, I'm quite the soothsayer. All I had to do was read the news. The video was mentioned in a Times story in April 2008 on Obama's friendships with Palestinian Americans in Chicago. The story said that Obama attended a farewell dinner for the Palestinian scholar, at which some speakers spoke angrily of Israel's treatment of Palestinians and of U.S. policy toward Israel. It said that Obama spoke warmly at the dinner of the scholar, Rashid Khalidi LA Times Yep, because we all know it takes a month to edit a small portion of a video. YouTube wasn't the issue. NBC's own website was the issue. And as I've already mentioned, it doesn't take a month to make a small edit to a video clip. Keep grasping though.
  4. If a Republican was raising as much money as Obama, it would be a major story in the mainstream media, and not a positive story. Couple that with financing fraud, and it would be a huge story. But the Messiah gets away with it virtually untouched. Sadly, I'm not suprised anymore. Journalism officially died in 2008.
  5. Great post. I remember hearing about this skit a couple weeks ago, but NBC pulled it down from their SNL page. Rumor has it, that the higher-ups at NBC got heat from the Dems and other important people who didn't like core of the skit, because it actually told the truth about the housing/credit meltdown, of which, the guilt lies at the feet of the Democrats. There's also video that the LA Times has refused to release, showing Obama toasting at a dinner for Rashid Khalidi, who from 1976 to1982 was a mouthpiece for the Palestine Liberation Organization while it was a designated terrorist group in the 1970s and '80s. Don't you just love all of the "interesting" friends Obama has collected over the years? If you're keeping score at home folks, it's now Rezko, Rev. Wright, Father Pfleger, William Ayers, and Rashid Khalidi.
  6. - Breaking promises. - Lack of transparency. - Massive Wall Street donations. - Small donor financing fraud. Just more change you can believe in! O-bam-a! O-bam-a! O-bam-a!
  7. Actually I think race works for him more than against him. You cannot attack him politically without it being spun into racism. The lastest concoction is that socialist is really a racist "code word" for black. Anyways, if Obama wins the election, it will be interesting to see if we're allowed to use his middle name. Historically, American President's middle names are used quite often. George Walker Bush, William Jefferson Clinton, Ronald Wilson Reagan, Richard Milhouse Nixon, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Dwight David Eisenhower, Frankline Delano Roosevelt, and the list goes on. I'm not sure what the answer is going to be, however, I suspect not.
  8. Enjoy. I know I did.
  9. Biden yes, Palin no. Sarah Palin will be campaigning in Iowa 3 years from now, if McCain/Palin lose the election. However, I still think Romney would be the favourite. If Obama loses, Hillary will again be in a strong position to win the nomination. If Obama wins, she's likely not to run again.
  10. Government computers used to find information on Joe the Plumber State and local officials are investigating if state and law-enforcement computer systems were illegally accessed when they were tapped for "personal information about "Joe the Plumber." Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher became part of the national political lexicon Oct. 15 when Republican presidential candidate John McCain mentioned him frequently during his final debate with Democrat Barack Obama. The 34-year-old from the Toledo suburb of Holland is held out by McCain as an example of an American who would be harmed by Obama's tax proposals. Public records requested by The Dispatch disclose that information on Wurzelbacher's driver's license or his sport-utility vehicle was pulled from the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles database three times shortly after the debate. Information on Wurzelbacher was accessed by accounts assigned to the office of Ohio Attorney General Nancy H. Rogers, the Cuyahoga County Child Support Enforcement Agency and the Toledo Police Department. It has not been determined who checked on Wurzelbacher, or why. Direct access to driver's license and vehicle registration information from BMV computers is restricted to legitimate law enforcement and government business. The Columbus Dispatch It looks as though Joe the plumber has made some enemies in very high places. I guess that'll teach him for embarassing the Messiah in public. And that's a lesson to the rest of you as well. If you're going to question Dear Leader, it must be approved by his handlers. If not, you'll face the consequences.
  11. So true. If I only had a nickle for everytime he's uttered that stupid remark, I'd be rich, until of course Obama came looking for half my pay check, in order to spread the wealth around. "Remember, From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs."
  12. Yes, because McCain has 8 homes, and Palin received $150,000 in support are strong arguments. Give me an f'ing break, and come back when you're ready to be intellectually honest. Church isn't subsidized by the state. And yes, Sarah Palin is better than Joe Biden. It'd be nice if he practiced what he preached. But instead, as most liberals, loves to spread other people's money around, but acts quite differently when it comes to his own. Joe the 6 term senator and millionaire is a huge hypocrite.
  13. Exactly. It's too bad he doesn't think charitable giving is as patriotic as paying taxes. Maybe the world would be a better place, if people like Joe the 6 term senator and millionaire gave more than .3% of his income to chairty.
  14. Palin gives more to charity than Biden Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin made considerably less money than rival Sen. Joe Biden, but the Palin family gave more to charity in the last two years than Biden has in the last eight combined, according to Palin's tax records released Friday afternoon Link As usual, liberals are always more comfortable giving away other people's money than their own. Is Sarah Palin more in touch with regular people? Is Sarah Palinn more representative of Joe Six-pack? You betcha.
  15. YouTube Wow, who knew Jeri Thompson was gorgeous and smart! Palin/Thompson 2012! - Sarah Palin is the only non-millionaire between the four of them (Obama, Biden, McCain) - I haven't heard any double standard discussed regarding Michelle Obama, and her wardrobe, and hair and make-up professionals from Oprah. Is she still able to "fight for the common person?"
  16. Yeah, almost as bad as the Obama-Rezko-Wright-Ayers circle.
  17. Kind of like Obama, except he lives in a $4 million house. She doesn't. Kind of like Obama. How much did those greek pillars cost again? Oh right, just $5.3 million.
  18. It's funny that the mainstream media will do stories and investigations into the Alaska Independence Party, but when it comes to Obama and the Chicago New Party, they're strangely silent. Actually, not strangely silent, but predictibly silent. How I hate the mainstream media.
  19. No, he didn't flip-flop, he just pandered to each audience, telling them what they want to hear. Even if it directly contradicted what he had said earlier, in an effort to get some votes. Now that's Change you can believe in!
  20. Not at all. If I were American, I'd feel that my country was superior due to its freedom, human rights, standard of living, etc, not just because one was born in it.
  21. Exactly. Nobody seemed to care about Hillary Clinton's $6000 pant suits. And nobody seems to care about Obama or Biden's $2000 suits. Nobody seemed to care about the millions spent for the greek pillars and such during his acceptance speech. And I haven't heard anyone complaining about the $6 million that's being spent on an election night party in Chicago. It's all selective and manufactured outrage.
  22. Can't lose: Obama backs Rays, Phillies Barack Obama, campaigning in the key swing state of Florida, is seeking to capitalize on the excitement over the World Series-bound Tampa Bay Rays, telling a Tampa crowd he was “showing some love for the Rays,” several members of which joined him onstage. Only problem? Obama, a self-avowed Chicago White Sox fan, declared his allegiance earlier this month for the Rays’ National League opponent in baseball’s championship, the Philadelphia Phillies. On Oct. 11, Obama told a crowd in the City of Brotherly Love — the biggest city on the key swing state of Pennsylvania: “My White Sox are gone, so I’ll go ahead and root for the Phillies now. Politico Hmm, this new kind of politics looks and sounds a lot like the old. Just another example of what a charlatan this guy is.
  23. Is Capitalism Dead? IS THIS the end of American capitalism? As financial panic spread across the globe and governments scrambled to contain the damage, reality seemed to announce the doom of U.S.-style free markets and President Bush's ideology. But this is wrong in two ways. The deregulation of U.S. financial markets did not reflect only the narrow ideology of a particular party or administration. And the problem with the U.S. economy, more than lack of regulation, has been government's failure to control systemic risks that government itself helped to create. We are not witnessing a crisis of the free market but a crisis of distorted markets. Thus, the Clinton administration, supported by then-Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan, refused to tighten regulations on financial derivatives, memorably dubbed "financial weapons of mass destruction" by Warren Buffett. The 1999 repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act, a Depression-era law separating commercial banking and investment banking, passed with overwhelming bipartisan support in Congress and was signed into law by President Bill Clinton, Government support for housing was well-intentioned: Homeownership is a worthy goal. But when government favors a particular economic activity, however validly, it must seek countervailing control to ensure the sustainable use of public resources. This is why banks must meet capital requirements in return for federal deposit insurance. Congress did not apply this sound principle to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac; they were allowed to engage in profitable but increasingly risky activities with an implicit government guarantee. Washington Post Better late than never.
