  1. No, I'll show you what propaganda is like. Dateline Under Fire There is no scientific evidence that an ancient curse has settled over the hallways of NBC News, but staff members at the network's newsmagazine show Dateline could be forgiven for thinking otherwise. After last February's embarrassment of having to apologize -- on air -- for faking a fire in a segment on General Motors truck safety, they endured a public pillorying that led to the resignation of NBC News president Michael Gartner and three Dateline producers. Time CBS Statement On Bush Memos Network Apologizes For Use Of Unsubstantial Based on what we now know, CBS News cannot prove that the documents are authentic, which is the only acceptable journalistic standard to justify using them in the report. We should not have used them. That was a mistake, which we deeply regret. Nothing is more important to us than our credibility and keeping faith with the millions of people who count on us for fair, accurate, reliable, and independent reporting. We will continue to work tirelessly to be worthy of that trust.” CBS News CNN's Access of Evil The network of record covered Saddam's repression with propaganda. As Baghdad fell last week, CNN announced that it too had been liberated. On the New York Times' op-ed page on Friday, Eason Jordan, the network's news chief, admitted that his organization had learned some "awful things" about the Baathist regime--murders, tortures, assassination plots--that it simply could not broadcast earlier. Reporting these stories, Mr. Jordan wrote, "would have jeopardized the lives of Iraqis, particularly those on our Baghdad staff." WSJ Yeah, that over-estimate of a crowd is really something isn't it? Let's see. Fake explosion involving major car companies, fake military documents to influence a Presidential election, and a deal with Saddam Hussein in order to keep open a CNN office in Iraq. But Fox News is the bad guy? Pluuuuuuuuuuuuueeeeeeeeeeesssssssssseeeeeeee.
  2. Either can I. Which is why I stopped watching NBC, CBS, ABC, and most of CNN and MSNBC long ago.
  3. No, not to have eliminated, but eliminate. And not to have cured, but to cure. Nice try though.
  4. President Teleprompter strikes again! YouTube
  5. At the very least, you could provide the date of said podcast, and an appoximate time your accusation takes place. In the future, if you can't back up something you say, don't say it, because it's meaningless otherwise, as are most of your posts. Just for the record, it's been four days, and still nothing.
  6. No, I'm absolutely talking about something that is happening, and has happened. You just can't defend the fascist nature of leftists on campus. Pro-life students have been banned from organizing on campus, and they've had their funding taken away. Funds, I might add, in which pro-life students pay to the school and student unions by way of tuition.
  7. No, you try friday and get back to me. I don't do homework for liars. Especially pathological liars. Still no transcript?
  8. Funny stuff, I hadn't heard that type of joke ever before. Anyways, on to real issues. Did anyone else notice that the CNN fake reporter was armed with several Obama Administration talking points?
  9. This is absolutely can't miss video of liberal fascism on campus. John Zielger is arrested at USC, for asking people why they're attending an event. The event? The Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Journalism. Apparently some journalism just can't be tolerated, and the irony meter is off the charts on this one! Enjoy! Ziegler Arrest Ladies and Gentlemen. This is Obama's America.
  10. Still no transcript yet? (credit to M.Dancer) We're all still waiting! It's time to finally come clean and admit you're a liar. And not just a regular liar, but a pathological one. I've listened to several Hannity podcasts from the week you site, and have not heard one utterance of what you claim he said.
  11. Here's a great contrast between the way leftwing cable news outlets like CNN covered the tea parties, compared to how they covered infinitely smaller liberal protests. Both clips are from the same so-called "reporter." Thousands of people there protesting, and all she said was "This is not really family viewing." Whatever that means. Note her last line of the 5 people that are there protesting. "Mr Obama, are you watching?"
  12. This definitely can be filed under more hope n change! N.S.A.’s intercepts exceed limits set by Congress WASHINGTON - The National Security Agency intercepted private e-mail messages and phone calls of Americans in recent months on a scale that went beyond the broad legal limits established by Congress last year, government officials said in recent interviews. MSNBC
  13. Yes, but they can't usurp people's constitutional rights. They have the right to be pro-choice. But they don't have the right to forbid pro-life groups from organizing on campus. That's fascist.
  14. Hmm, that reminds me... Vermont: Most Likely To Secede? Huffington Post If at first you don't secede Feeling they've lost any say in how the nation is run, liberals are turning to an unfamiliar philosophy: States' rights. Salon
  15. I don't know about Boston, but there were 15,000 - 20,000 people in Atlanta's, which isn't bad considering it was held in the evening, when most people just want to relax after work. They couldn't hold one during the day, because unlike Democrat protestors, Republicans actually have jobs, and don't usually have time to protest during the morning and afternoon hours. I have absolutely not idea what you're talking about. I think he was a Republican congressman about 10 years ago.
  16. No they didn't. That seems to be a common misconception. It was mostly planned online and through small conservative groups around America. A lot of them felt the Iraq war spending was necessary. However, they didn't feel the same way about Bush's irresponsible deficits, and sat home the last couple of election cycles because of it, very disheartened of the Republican party. No, another misconception. Bush cut tax rates of every tax bracket. And people keeping more of THEIR OWN MONEY, isn't getting anything from anybody. No, he's not paying a single cent of the debt. In fact, according to his own budget numbers, he's going to run trillion dollar deficits as far as the eye can see. And he's going to compile more debt then all the previous President's combined, from W all the way back to Washington. That's part of what the tea parties are about.
  17. No Republican ever was rejecting the stimulus package. It was about how much of the stimulus to accept, and whether or not there were strings attached. You conveniently left that out of your initial response. Correction. You probably chose to specifically leave that out of your initial response. It's pure political hackery. Again. Why are you being so obtuse? The Republican Governors were willing to accept some of the money all along. It was the money with federal strings attached that was the concern. It's why Chuck Schumer, back in February, released a letter notifying the Governors that the stimulus money isn't an a la carte menu. Schumer to GOP Govs: No A La Carte WASHINGTON, DC--Senator Charles Schumer released the following letter Tuesday urging the Obama administration to notify governors that they must certify acceptance of stimulus funding in full or not at all, rather than selectively approving and rejecting the law's various components. Link Once again, obtuse as a brick wall. It was never about rejecting federal assistance. It was about rejecting some of the federal assistance. Read the link I posted from Chuck Schumer from back in February. If you don't want to believe me, at the very least, listen to the senior senator from New York. What lie about Franken? Don't try and change the subject.
  18. Good luck getting an answer. I'm still waiting for him to post anything to back up his claim that Hannity blamed Obama for specifically not providing an escort for the American ship. Instead, he posts Glen Beck, and Rush Limbaugh, and then comments on tea parties. Then he sites podcasts, but provides no links or dates of shows. Of course, the podcasts he's referring to are of Hannity's radio show, even though his original claim was of Hannity's television program. Then, after being caught in his web of lies, he tries to spin off the whole incident, by attempting to claim he was speaking of general criticizm of Obama by Fox News. *sigh* I'll ask again. Please, post something that specifically backs up your claim, that Hannity blamed Obama for not providing an escort for the American ship. It's a very simple and reasonable request. Now, I realize it's difficult to back up lies, which is probably why you're having such a difficult time doing so. Stop the spinning, and start the posting. Again, it's not about Glen Beck, or Rush Limbaugh, or Fox News, or even Sean Hannity in general. You made a very specific accusation, and I'm asking for a very specific reference to back up your claim. This is your last chance. The Jeopardy music has ended.
  19. Look, it's quite simple. Post something relevant to your accusation of Hannity blaming Obama for not providing the American ship with an escort. YOU SAID SEAN HANNITY BLAMED OBAMA FOR NOT PROVIDING AN ESCORT FOR THE SHIP. Just admit that you made it all up, and we can all just move on. If not, please post something that's specific to your accusation, not Glenn Beck, or Rush Limbaugh, or anyone else. We're all still waiting. *Cue Jeopardy theme music* Please site one example of me being proven wrong, because I have no idea what you're talking about.
  20. Please post references actually related to what you said. You stated that Sean Hannity blamed Obama for the escalation in pirate attacks, and I quote, "for leaving the American ship without an escort." To which I replied, *cough* bullshit *cough*. You didn't post anything even related to your claim from last week. So I'll give you another opportunity. Again, I'm calling bullshit on your claim that Hannity blamed Obama for leaving the American ship without escort. As I've already stated. He didn't prove anything wrong. He didn't even post anything related to his claim. And no, I don't ever feel humiliated, because as of yet, I've never been proven wrong. Go ahead. Make my day.
  21. If you agree that Sanford is the only one who hasn't fully committed, then why did you state the following? I'll tell you why, because you're a liar. That's why you stated the following. Spread your lies in some other forum, or at the very least, some other section of this forum.
  22. Yeah, sure it was. *cough* bullshit *cough*
  23. Sorry, but you're lying. Please stop lying. In a letter to the White House budget office, Sanford reiterated that he will not apply for the $700 million portion of funds. He is asking state lawmakers to use an equivalent amount to pay off debt. Link Anyways, speaking of stimulus reality... Illinois snags chunk of fed stimulus work Illinois is getting a jump on the federal stimulus program, claiming more than 12% of the road and bridge projects approved so far by the U.S. Department of Transportation. Link Hmm, Illinois getting 12% of stimulus transportation spending. Hmm, what state is the President from again?
  24. As I've already stated, in Canada, pro-life groups have actually been banned from organizing on campus, and their funding has been stripped away by leftwing extremists.
  25. Unfortunately, we have the same problem in Canada. Anti-life extremists have actually banned pro-life groups from organizing on campus, and also have eliminated their funding.
