  1. No, it's completely pathetic. He has to drag his teleprompter into a classroom of 6th graders.
  2. This story is going viral on the web, probably will hit some mainstream media tomorrow! Still More Astroturfing: Gloria Elle and Jan Chen Write the Same Anti-Republican, Pro-Obama Letter; UPDATED: Two More Pairings Found; UPDATED AGAIN: Four Pairings Total, and One Is a Triplet!; UPDATED AGAIN with Countless Other Examples Link
  3. You know what they say, a picture's worth a thousand words... PIC OMG!!!
  4. Good choice. It's probably more apt anyways.
  5. This is unbelievable!!! Who is Mark Spivey? I know only this: that he is the author of this pro-Obama letter that has appeared in numerous publications: The letter has appeared — at a minimum! — at The Minnesota Daily, at the Baltimore Chronicle (on the same page as Ellie Light’s letter!), at the San Diego Union-Tribune (where he claims to be from San Diego), at the Naples News (where he claims to be from Naples, Florida), and at Buzzflash.com. Also: Ed Morrissey forwarded me an e-mail he received from Ellie Light several days ago. The mail appears to have been routed through the IP address 212.24.236.50, which comes back to Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia?? I assume this is some sort of masking or spoofing device and not the actual location of “Ellie Light.” Which makes you wonder: why does a grandma writing letters on behalf of Obama use an IP spoofer? Finally, the latest count for Ellie Light’s letter. It has appeared in at least 62 publications in 29 states and the District of Columbia; national publications and a Yahoo link; and 2 foreign publications. Not bad for a single individual. Just think of how many rejects she got. Link Move over Richard Nixon! There's a new king in town!
  6. Glacier scientist: I knew data hadn't been verified The scientist behind the bogus claim in a Nobel Prize-winning UN report that Himalayan glaciers will have melted by 2035 last night admitted it was included purely to put political pressure on world leaders Link But I'm sure the AGW true-believers will insist that there's nothing to see here, move along. PIC
  7. So it's ridiculous to even suggest that this was done by the White House? So, is this just an immense coincidence? Obama confidant's spine-chilling proposal "In 2008, while at Harvard Law School, Sunstein co-wrote a truly pernicious paper proposing that the U.S. Government employ teams of covert agents and pseudo-"independent" advocates to "cognitively infiltrate" online groups and websites -- as well as other activist groups -- which advocate views that Sunstein deems "false conspiracy theories" about the Government. This would be designed to increase citizens' faith in government officials" Link * Cass Sunstein is currently the Administrator of the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs in the Obama administration *
  8. Interesting week for the AGW true-believers... UN Panel: Prediction on Himalayan Glaciers was Mistake A forecast by the United Nations climate science panel that Himalayan glaciers will melt by 2035 has become mired in controversy following revelations that it was not based on scientific studies. The chairman of the panel says the error arose because procedures were not followed properly. Link Followed by... UN climate change expert: there could be more errors in report The Indian head of the UN climate change panel defended his position yesterday even as further errors were identified in the panel's assessment of Himalayan glaciers. Dr Rajendra Pachauri dismissed calls for him to resign over the Inter-governmental Panel on Climate Change’s retraction of a prediction that Himalayan glaciers could disappear by 2035. Link I'd like to make a suggestion to all of the forum posters. Maybe we should be posting any and all AGW related discussion in the Political Philosophy part of the board instead of under Health, Science, and Technology. Because, as anyone with a brain can clearly see, AGW is anything but science and technology.
  9. Just following your lead!
  10. Obama has suspicious number of letter-writing fans named 'Ellie Light' “It’s time for Americans to realize that governing is hard work, and that a president can’t just wave a magic wand and fix everything,” said a letter from alleged Philadelphian Ellie Light, that was published in the Jan. 19 edition of The Philadelphia Daily News. ... A letter from Light in the Jan. 20 edition of the San Francisco Examiner concluded with an identical sentence, but with an address for Light all the way across the country in Daly City, California. ... Variations of Light’s letter ran in Ohio’s Mansfield News Journal on Jan. 13, with Light claiming an address in Mansfield. ... in New Mexico’s Ruidoso News on Jan. 12, claiming an address in Three Rivers. ... in South Carolina’s The Sun News on Jan. 18, claiming an address in Myrtle Beach. ... and in the Daily News Leader of Staunton, Virginia on Jan. 15, claiming an address in Waynesboro. Her publications list includes other papers in Ohio, West Virginia, Maine, Michigan, Iowa, Pennsylvania and California, all claiming separate addresses. Link They made not have a clue when it comes to economics, but when it comes to politics and propaganda, they're head and shoulders above most White House operations. My hats off to Mr. Axelrod and the rest of the gang.
  11. I was simply illustrating absurdity by being absurd. Anyone who actually thinks Scott Brown said "we can do this" to a response from the crowd insisting Martha Coakley have a curling iron shoved up her butt, deserves to be spoken to in the same manner.
  12. Complete nonsense. Harper protected our government from the opposition who wanted to handover federal power to seperatists, who's cheif political goal is to break up our country. And in this case, he's protecting the men and women of the Canadian military who were being used as pawns by the radical left. So if you're keeping score at home. Harper's spit on seperatists and their supporters, and spit on political hacks of the opposition, who think attacking the Canadian military for political purposes is a reasonable strategy. Like I said before, stop the continous bitching. Either force an election over it (in which Harper will destroy you), or shut up already. Shit or get off the pot.
  13. This really needs to be repeated! Probably several times.
  14. Exactly. However, he could definitely look much worse... PIC
  15. Doesn't this mean that we actually SAVE money from proroguing Parliament? And does anyone remember the CBC doing the same type of story when the Liberals prorogued Parliament? It's funny how they pick and choose.
  16. Um, the British healthcare system is a complete disaster. As for many other european systesm, they have hybrid public/private systems that seem to work much better than ours. In Canada, you're deemed a heretic if you dare mention a case for private sector services in healthcare. Debate is shut down immediately by the socialist healthcare nazi's in this country.
  17. Just another "Harper burned his toast this morning" thread. I also heard that he left his soup too long in the microwave. Perhaps you should make a thread of it.
  18. I couldn't agree more. Apparently to punked, when one states they're a history buff, it automatically means American or human-made history. punked's new pathetic criticizm brown earns him the facepalm award of the day! PIC "Because expressing how dumb that was in words just doesn't work." On a side note, the museum also contains large amounts of information on various expeditions by several of the more famous explorers, but I guess that doesn't fall into what punked considers history.
  19. Oh please God let Bob Rae be the Liberal nominee.
  20. That's funny, because Brown and Scozzafava differ on almost EVERY issue. Scozzafava was no moderate, she was a liberal candidate selected, without a primary, to run as a Republican. That's incorrect. My comments regarding Obama's family weren't as a result of any election, and I never stated that a wanted to make a porno with his daughters. I was simply responding in kind to the same type of treatment Sarah Palin's children received. And my illustration of hypocrisy worked perfectly.
  21. Well said Argus. This reminds me of the smear job The New York Times did to John McCain regarding an alleged affair. It was a front page, top of the fold story. But their retraction to the story was buried 10+ pages deep, several days later. It's all part of the liberal drive-by media.
  22. I love to see all these posts from pseudo-fiscal conservatives. It's fun to watch.
  23. The cost of the war isn't high, and even that cost ends next year. Most of the deficit was attributed to the large ecnomic stimulus package that was put together, which also ends soon. The structural part of the deficit is fairly small, but yes, it's a good idea that provinces as well as the feds start to tighten their belts. But I'm confident we won't see the draconian cuts to provinces that the Liberals passed along during the late 90's.
  24. LOL, Jon Stewart destroys the Scott Brown criticizers. Enjoy! I sure did. It reminded me of the sore losers posting in this thread. Link
  25. Uh oh, maybe Scott Brown should be forced to denounce my signature, lest he be accused of insensitivity.
