  1. This must be the strong poll numbers punked was referencing related to Obama. Link
  2. Your thread title is disingenuous. Palin isn't a leading Republican. She's a private citizen, holding no public office.
  3. Cause we all know what the alternative looks like... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ss5Mn1amhfk
  4. Actually, he did do some specific things that contributed to his high ratings. When he visited ground zero. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MiSwqaQ4VbA <--- Obama might have been able to do as well. But only if they set up his teleprompter there first. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=631knZM9Uiw <-- As one of the YouTube comments stated, love him or hate him, that was bad ass!
  5. Actually, I've heard the opposite. That 2010 will show some moderate economic growth, but then could slide back down in 2011. Anyways, if one takes a look at the internals of punked's gallup numbers, it's pretty scary for Democrats. Obama's approval on healthcare 36% Obama's approval on the economy 36% Obama's approval on the budget 32% Gallup Those will all be the main issues in the upcoming mid-term election.
  6. Nice spin. Aren't you the guy who posted polls showing how great Martha Coakley was doing? And how great Jon Corzine was doing? And how great Cree Deeds was doing? LOL. Anyways, RCP as the Obama approval polls from the month of February so far. They are, in no particular order, 44%, 46%, 47%, 47%, and than Gallups outlier at 50%. When you average them all out, he's at 47% approval, 46% disapproval. Yeah punked, great numbers! He's on the comeback trail!
  7. That doesn't seem to reflect the mood of the people!
  8. Au contraire. I'm very concerned. I'm concerned about our rights and freedoms being taken away by fraudulent scientists peddling anti-capitalist politics all in the guise of junk science invovling a made-up crisis. There's nothing to reply to. As I've already stated, and as it's already been illustrated, the IPCC isn't to be trusted. Their models are fraudulent, based on fraudulent data, cooked up by fraudulent scientists. Go peddle your religion somewhere else.
  9. The answer to that question is a definite YES!!! Its been tough to stomach the all-out assult and destruction of the American economy over the past year or so. I'd love to see America once again have a President who doesn't denounce profits, denounce business, and denounce success. The idiot that now resides in the White House is a complete economic illiterate. It gets frustrating to see him, day after day, talk about and implement economic policy which reduces the job expansion he so desperately seeks.
  10. I have never believed in so-called global warming. And besides, it's not called global warming anymore, the global warming fundamentalists have re-named it climate change. Because they lost the global warming debate several years ago. And the only true deniers are the AGW true-believers. They're fundamentalists who deny any data or information which clearly undermines their belief. Yes, the key word is belief. It's no different than any other religion. Except these religious zealots are even more annoying and abrasive than the usual suspects.
  11. Taxing and spending is a new way forward? Running up massive, unprecedented deficts, and debt is a new way forward? I was definitely criticizing Obama for using a teleprompter. He's the Ron Burgundy President. What ever you type in, he reads it, and many times, mispronounces it. Lastest example, corpseman. Although on that one, we should probably cut him some slack. It's a military term, and obviously when it comes to that subject, he knows little to nothing. That was great. I was gonna post that myself. Too funny! Perhaps she's the "typical white woman" Obama spoke of during the campaign! Exactly. Although a cue card would've been a little cleaner and more professional, it might have been a last minute thing. But apparently to some, thats worse than having your entire speeches programmed into a machine, so that you can read them off small panels of glass, reading comments other people are suppose to make, and mangling terms and phrases during the process. Like I said, he's the Ron Ron Burgundy President. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqVfKJwQ63I <--- Ron Burgundy reads whatever is programmed into the telepromtper. And so does the Commander-In-Cheif! AP But at least he didn't write a note on his hand right? Cause that'd be embarassing. <--- This one is priceless! He walks to the wrong podium to speak, and then realizes it doesn't have his teleprompter. So he walks across the room to the teleprompted podium!
  12. Another amazing part of her speech, was when she mocked Obama's claim to have negotiations on healthcare put on Cspan. She also mocked this campaign promise to post legislation for 3 days online so that people could read it before it was voted on. And she also mocked the accountibility/transparency meeting that happend behind closed doors. Like I said, it was pure gold, cause non of that's happened as of yet.
  13. Yeah, but he's done a million of those over the last year or so. She hasn't. There were probably a few critical points she didn't want to forget about. Personally, I would have used a cue card. Or, she should've opted for the teleprompter. Anyways, I quite enjoyed the speech. Especially when she asked "how's that hopey changey workin' out for you?" Pure gold! Also, when she mocked Obama's "nobody messes with Joe" warning regarding the stimilus spending. And then went through of list of the non-stimulus stimulus junk that composed much of the spending. Pure gold!
  14. That's almost as bad as Ted Kennedy referring to Obama as Osama several times! Cheat? I was unaware there was some type of contest going on. Who was she up against? LOL. This wasn't a debate, it was a discussion. Palin Derangement Syndrome.
  15. Yes, selfish bastards. For wanting to spend their tax money in their own country. How completely selfish.
  16. Unfortunately, trade disputes have a certain process to them and tend to take time. There isn't really a mechanism in place to expedite the process. Has nothing to do with the evil Conservatives.
  17. A couple of great pieces in the local press: If the IPCC were a private-enterprise auto company, the class-action suits would have been piling up at the agency’s doors and the U.S. Congress would be parading the IPCC’s executives through a public humiliation. National Post And “The global warming movement as we have known it is dead,” the brilliant analyst Walter Russell Mead says in his blog on The American Interest. It was done in by a combination of bad science and bad politics. The Globe And Mail Must reads. Unless you're waldo. Then you keep your eyes closed, and your head covered. Because nothing penetrates the faith of the true-believer. Not even facts.
  18. You're being purposely dishonest. It's fun to catch you in a blatant lie. The 9 that were approved by the Senate aren't on the list I provided. I provided only new Obama created Czar positions. LEARN HOW TO READ. 24 newly created Czar positions by the Obama administration. That's a fact.
  19. Why must you lie? Afghanistan Czar - Richard Holbrooke Title: Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Appointed: January 2009 Auto Recovery Czar - Ed Montgomery Title: Director of Recovery for Auto Communities and Workers Appointed: March 2009 California Water Czar - David J. I don't understand it. Especially when it's so provable. All of these Czar positions didn't even exist in the prior administration. They're all new creations of Obama. And that doesn't even include the normal set of Czars that have existed over the last couple of decades, such as Drug Czar, etc.

  21. This thread is hilarious! It's even better than his tread about how Obama cut more spending than Bush. After Obama tables the largest budget in the history of the world, with the largest deficit in the history of the world. Comedy such as this is priceless!
  22. That's completely false. Obama has created several new czar positions. He has more czars now than Bush had in 8 years! And it's only been 1 year.
  23. He got to the front of the line that quickly? Hmm, socialized medicine for thee, but not for me.
  24. You had to go that far back? Reminds me of Teddy Kennedy!
