Irrelevant as there are vaccines now, and a large percentage of the population has received at least one dose.  Opening outdoor dining isn’t going to spike infections with vaccinations ongoing.  It’s anti-science.  There’s no reason opening outdoor dining sometime this week is dangerous but on the 14th is safe.  It’s ridiculous.

I 100% agree, this delay is unnecessary and outdoor dining and limited retails should, at least, be re-opened.

The Government is gun shy from all the heat they took in April and want to make sure they're really past any further "waves". 

But waiting 2 weeks after a benchmark does have science behind it. People don't achieve immunity immediately after they receive the vaccine. 

Fair enough.  I definitely agree about them being gun shy.  Quebec basically forced them to allow fans to go to game 7 tonight.  I’m hoping as other states and provinces go first and show that things can be safe, they’ll loosen up a bit.
