  1. Can we hug after.
  2. This is not terribly difficult South of Bloor.
  3. I'll direct this post to Black Dog. He's the one who thinks she sucks. I don't often read the Post. I listen to her on the radio almost daily though.
  4. Oh because she's advocated male masculinity, she a butch now? As long as the stereotype go both ways I guess I can't complain.
  5. Jerry Sandusky jokes are always funny.
  6. Now who's being sexist.
  7. Well he could have sat on her. You know because he's fat. That would have been very manly.
  8. Well the thesis of the column in question is that people in Toronto aren't masculine. Gender Stereotypes exist even if you like it or not.
  9. Yeah the Center/QB exchange is pretty much anal sex. I get you.
  10. I learned that tactic from Shwa. Listen, if straight guys want to hug each other they are allowed to. But it's not a masculine thing to do.
  11. You think that's sexism.
  12. I guess so. Heather Mallick still pulls in a cheque for some weird reason. I'm sure Blatch isn't getting this jobs based on her looks.
  13. She seems to get a lot of work for a horrible writer.
  14. Must be taking his queue from McDalton and these Gas-fired power plants he killed.
  15. So tax charitable organizations just because they believe in God? How tolerant of you. Church's get their income from donations. If I put $20 in a collection plate you're implying that 13% of that should go to the government? Those dudes running around with mustaches last month don't get any of their take taxed but those people that volunteer their time with Salvation Army kettle's have to be taxed because their moronic belief in God? Again I'm glad I don't live in your world.
  16. BTW it shows the painfully PC nature of some of the posters here that you see this column as her taking herself seriously. I heard her on the radio talking about this piece. She's been spending a good majority of her time in Kingston covering the Honour Killing Trial. Pretty serious stuff. She wanted to write a light-hearted piece, that wasn't to be taken seriously.
  17. I'd love to see McDalton do this. He'd lose the next election so badly. BTW it's not like money that would otherwise be sent to public school is being sent to Catholic Schools. Taxpayers get to choose which system they support with their taxes. So if no one supported the Catholic system it wouldn't be able to sustain itself.
  18. Wow it took you almost a full 24 hours to rage about this. This isn't terribly different from when Chairman Miller canned the bridge to the Island Airport though.
  19. Nothing wrong with that column. Men/boys aren't supposed to huge each other period. And if you wear glasses as a fashion accessory I would recommend moving you to some sort of internment camp for Hipsters.
  20. So Figure Skating is a sport because we're all fat. Is that your thesis? Are Curling and Golf sports? What about being a MLB Pitcher? You can have a "beer gut" and be proficient in those sports. Figure Skating is a sport like Gymnastics is a sport. You have to be incredibly fit to do this sports. But it's not the most masculine thing in the world to watch. Also sports that require a group of subjective judges to determine the outcome puts Figure Skating down a notch to me. Like many "Olympic" sports people seem to care during Olympics but between Olympics no many people care. I'll concede I watched Jamie Salle and David Pelltier get jobbed in Salt Lake City and was a bit miffed. BTW some evidence that Figure Skating is the second most watched sport in Canada? I skim over my guide for sports and I'm more likely to see Poker, Darts or Bowling on Sports channels than I am to see some Figure skating competition.
  21. Sports Women like don't count. I'm sure Bachlor/ette ratings beat out many sports too.
  22. 2011 has clearly been a crappy year for Canadian Athletics. http://www.thestar.com/sports/figureskating/article/1101085--patrick-chan-wins-lou-marsh-award?bn=1 What a crappy list! Joey Votto was great . . . in 2010. I guess I can't argue with the decision. But it's pretty sad that Canada's #1 International Athletic achievement came in Figure Skating. And this is the guy that last week said he'd get more love in China than Canada. Was this decision an attempt to Ballwash him? http://edmonton.ctv.ca/servlet/an/local/CTVNews/20111208/canada-skater-patrick-chan-feels-unappreciated-111208/20111208/?hub=EdmontonHome I bet if Tim Thomas was Canadian he'd have won.
  23. Similar things could be said about Curling and Box Lacrosse.
  24. Where, pray tell, is this common?
  25. Could always make them travel in the luggage compartment.
