  1. I would have actually thought Canada would be above 100,000 cases and 10,000 deaths by now. But nope! Still under.
  2. The one country with, by far the worst cases. The Border is closed, but trade still happens. And Canada's population is overwhelmingly centred around cities. Point out anywhere in Canada where there's currently a worrisome spike in cases? I will say, even with higher caseloads, death rate will continue to drop. Doctors know how to treat it.
  3. Spelling Police? Sure, I'll give you testing. But does testing make up for 2 million cases when no other country is even close to a million? Canada is maybe 20,000 tests per billion behind the US. Does that make up for the 2:1 per capita positive rate?
  4. Did Obama see broadbased protests for north of 3 weeks? Republican states are catching up now. See Florida, Texas, Oklahoma and Arizona. Currently thousands of cases a day. Ontario has a few hundred and more resolutions. You pinned that on population density. New York has well passed the peak and is down in infection.
  5. At least you can refrain from insults. Or killed by the state. Looks like his partner may turn on him.
  6. You can compare per capital figures very easily.
  7. Ahh so we go back to Brooks's past crimes being an excuse for execution. Looks like the Cop that shot him could be executed for it. So they have something in common now.
  8. So now you're going to highlight any article that shows a spike in cases, no matter how small as evidence of what exactly? No where in Canada do you have spikes being seen in the US Sunbelt.
  9. No, that was murder. It doesn't mean that they should expect someone will shoot them in the face with every interaction though. That only means they see all the public as potential murderers.
  10. I think the burden should be higher for cops. But only speaks to the issue of traffic stops. Interactions with the police are almost always not positive ones. So they should expect that kind of treatment.
  11. Again, Article from June 6th. Today is June 19th. Ontario's current results compared to the likes of say, Florida is stark.
  12. So all the studies that now show HDQ as ineffective are lies? It's not really about it being unsafe, it's about it being useless. It's unsafe when used without Doctor supervision.
  13. Sure, blame Obama for the Economic Meltdown. Trump has to own COVID. Much worse.
  14. It's not a spike when more cases are resolved than positive. On Friday, most Ontario regions will be in Phase 2 of re-opening.
  15. That he inherited from the other guy. He left office with Unemployment under 5%.
  16. You quoted an article from May 22. https://www.cp24.com/news/ontario-reports-173-new-cases-of-covid-19-3-new-deaths-1.4989672 Today's figures are 173 positive cases from 25,000 processed tests. More cases are resolved each day than new cases.
  17. Remember Trump said he'd Make America Great? Double Digit Unemployment and Race Riots, Not Great!
  18. Whined about what? You still haven't highlighted recent spikes anywhere in Canada.
  19. Like that wall he lies about building?
  20. Cite. BTW, I concede we're not going back to lockdowns. Murika should have probably had that attitude that people should just die from the virus form the start.
  21. Why would someone who is looking to do cheap illegal labour volunteer their contact information in order to get a Social Security Number? One of the companies was Apple. They can just go to China when they're looking for cheap labour. Did you miss the part about 27,000 front-line healthcare workers? Doesn't appear that's happening in Trump's first term. Broken Promise! Massive Dailure! Huuuuge L! Looser!
  22. It also disarms the excuse that these Dreamers are a drain on society. And many companies claimed the deportation would be a drain to the economy. They aren't criminals working under the table. To stay in the program you actually have to contribute. If you really wanted to stay in the country and live a life of crime, you wouldn't want to be a Dreamer. You have to re-apply every 2 years and provide your information. No criminal would agree to that. Moot point, Massive L for 45.
  23. And that's not what DACA aimed to solve. It was narrowly focused on illegal immigrants that came to the country under a certain age that have no connection to their country of birth. But also are law abiding and contributing members to society. Note all the companies that advocated for Dreamers they employ. Including 27,000 frontline healthcare workers.
  24. As Judge Roberts notes in his decision. It's not just a failure to enforce the law, it's a program people apply to. So yes it does exist.
  25. The Republican Congress refuses to act. Has the Senate even allowed a vote? If Trump really cared about Congresses role in DACA, then he'd tell McConnell to vote on it. Trump is 0-2 this week in the SCOTUS. Will he strike out with the Tax Return case?
