  1. Oh yes, expensive treatment vs relatively inexpensive vaccine. It's funny how this Antibody treatment is not considered experimental by the Anti-Vax crazies.
  2. Nothing to see here. All preventative. Beds are 98.5% unoccupied! I'm sure that'll come as news to BC when Alberta starts begging to send dying COVID-19 patients to Hospitals there. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmonton/alberta-health-services-looking-out-of-province-for-icu-beds-staff-1.6177703 What a clusterfuck
  3. I can come up with creative ways to call you dumb too. It would certainly be fitting.
  4. Awww Shucks! Fortress Alberta has been breached by the Vaccine Nazis. ? Doesn't Kenney know that posters on a political forum report that beds are 98.5 unoccupied?!?!?!?
  5. They're the type of people who would compare narrowly defined public health measures to racial apartheid. And protest outside a Hospital to rope in the OP.
  6. You have "some" evidence from Israel to support that. But evidence from this side of the world suggest that the unvaccinated make up an overwhelming number of cases compared to their percentage of the population. A vaccinated-infected person may be transmissible. But evidence suggests they aren't transmissible nearly as long. https://www.wusa9.com/article/news/verify/can-vaccinated-and-unvaccinated-people-spread-covid19-the-same/65-63870429-2e11-44bd-aa57-9ea8a23cb205
  7. Governments successfully lockdown the public world-over. So I'm not sure how this is all that different.
  8. You know what? If it gives people incentives to get the completely safe vaccine, then its done its job. IMHO. I'm hopeful we won't see a spike because of the vaccination rate. But if it convinces people who are on the fence. . . good. For Anti-vaxxers? Eff em, they're a scourge.
  9. When studies don't support your worldview, then it's a conspiracy. How convenient. I find that offensive. But continue to believe that if you wish. I certainly wouldn't voice such views amongst polite company if I were you.
  10. Again, nothing is "mandatory" regarding vaccine. But refusing has some consequences. As you say, if a business wants its employees and/or patrons to all be vaccinated, why can't they decide?
  11. Without the government to back them, it's not worth the effort. Especially with Anti-Vaxxers that behave very badly in public. The Ontario passport is very narrowly applied.
  12. Just to be clear. I'll support Boosters for vulnerable population. But the SCIENCE has not provided any evidence that boosters are required for an otherwise healthy person.
  13. It's funny that you use cases as evidence of waning immunity when it supports your opinion. But the true metric of success or failure of the vaccine is the instances of severe COVID.
  14. The goal is an endemic virus that's not worse than the common cold. So yeah, transmission does happen. But severe outcomes are a lot less likely. This is why Vaccine passports are necessary in places where masking and distancing are impossible.
  15. The unvaccinated are most fuelling the most negative outcomes regarding COVID-19, in Canada anyway.
  16. Also, should JT win re-election. It will be the fault of these morons who protest outside of Hospitals.
  17. I guess is where all the cool discussions on COVID are. My bad. I'll post this for good measure. https://www.factcheck.org/2021/09/scicheck-instagram-post-missing-context-about-israeli-study-on-covid-19-natural-immunity/
  18. The SINGLE study that suggests Natural Immunity is "13 times" more effective than Vaccination is:

    1) Not definitive
    2) Not Peer Reviewed
    3) Indicates that Natural Immunity and Vaccination combined is still a good idea.

Exactly.  They act like natural immunity is a new concept or something.  Ridiculous.  Total science deniers.

They will even go so far as to outright discredit science, and history, for the sake of politics.

      Complete fanaticism.

No one is disputing that Natural Immunity doesn't exist.

I'm disputing the suspect claim that it's 13-times more effective than a vaccine.

  19. Well, Ontario has a respectable Vaccination rate.
  20. I totally cited a page from the AHS saying that because of COVID cases, some elective surgeries are being effected. Yet, here you are. . .
  21. Funny I've cited evidence on the AHS site that COVID-19 has effected their capacity. Neither of you have. . .
  22. Yes it started like a party similar to the PPC. A vaccine passport is overwhelmingly popular. There's no political appetite to challenge it in the 3 most populous provinces. Up until the Pandemic, the Conservative opinion was that we're spending too much for Healthcare and a portion of it should be privatized. O'Toole advocates for a 2 tiered system.
  23. Some?!?!?!? You're comparing blaming an ethnic minority for the loss of a World War and excising them from society only to later try to exterminate them to a public health measure aimed at reducing death in the same population that refuses the vaccine. It's an offensive comparison. Anti Vaxxers are only being excluded from activities that were pretty much made illegal at the beginning of the pandemic. They aren't being made to wear a Yellow Star, they aren't being walled off in ghettos!
  24. You should be ashamed of this pathetic level of Godwinism. To compare what's going on today with Nazism is at best dumb and at worst a cynical way to conflate the biggest evil in history with public health guidelines. The truth is the spark of Nazism came from groups like Anti-Vaxxers that violently protest the laws of the day. That's the way Hitler came to power.
