  1. Study released today. https://www.cmaj.ca/sites/default/files/additional-assets/site/press/cmaj.211248.pdf Scientific evidence that newer variants are much more dangerous to younger, healthier people.
  2. SCIENCE!!!! Canadian Medical Association Study.

    https://www.cbc.ca/news/health/delta-variant-impact-study-1.6200066

    Quote

Among delta cases, they found a 108 per cent increased risk for hospitalization, 235 per cent increased risk for ICU admission and 133 per cent increased risk for death compared to the original virus strain.

    Quote

The study found people infected with variants of concern were significantly younger and less likely to have comorbidities than those with non-variant infections, and the increased risk of adverse outcomes from variants persisted even after researchers adjusted for age, sex, comorbidities and other factors.

    Quote

Fisman said one of the main reasons delta didn't devastate its way through Canada the same way it did in India was because the variant emerged here just as vaccinations were ramping up.

Yes, brought to you by the president of covid panic porn.  The man who resigned in Ontario because he insisted that the government was keeping a secret report that Ontario was in reality going to have a grim fall.  Overwhelmed by hospitalizations and 4000+ cases by October.  He’s a propagandist.

You still haven't given a cite for that claim.

The CMA isn't just one person.

Can you deny the findings of the study?

  4. You provided a screenshot that didn't include the total number of people that stat entailed. Is it possible that it's these 2 people? https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/manitoba-covid-19-update-monday-oct-4-1.6198813 1 vaxed 1 not?
  5. Cite What evidence do you have of any long-term effects of any vaccine? https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/safety/safety-of-vaccines.html
  6. See no cites. Your Manitoba link doesn't give a total of who actually died. What if it was four. Nor does it give their ages. Cases have skyrocketed in certain places like Alberta. Ontario is doing pretty well. ICU occupancy has actually dropped since the Vax passport got announced. Cases also don't mean Hospitalizations and deaths. Breakthrough cases amongst vaxxed are a good avenue down an endemic virus.
  7. 1) You've only cited one doctor, not "many". Why don't you post the link again? 2) Cite where you see "many" vaxxed people dying of COVID. I just showed Ontario Hospitalization data that well over 80% of the people Hospitalized with COVID are unvaxxed, even though they make up less than a third of the general public. Cases have skyrocketed in provinces out West because they relaxed public health measures. Delta is way more transmissible which means bad things for Unvaxxed. Also case numbers, hospitalizations and deaths are very different things.
  8. Getting pregnant and getting COVID has proven to be very bad. Good chance of losing the baby. The only two legitimate medical exemptions, In Ontario anyway, are mentioned above.
  9. That's the two scenarios. You're guessing how many people it is. If anything is private, it's how many people are able to get an exemption. People with autoimmune issues actually need the vaccine more than most.
  10. Who are unable to get vaccinated? Breakthrough cases amongst vaxxed usually result in mild, or no symptoms. Often the people only know they have it because of screening measures. Children also usually get mild or symptom free infections. Where people are being Hospitalized it's usually unvaxxed or vaxxed that are older and imuno-compromised.
  11. Who are the many doctors you're referring to? And what evidence do they have to predict such catastrophe? Oh and Ontario's Hospitalization data tell a much different story. https://covid-19.ontario.ca/data/hospitalizations
  12. Anti-vaxxers are losing the plot on this. We're rapidly approaching 3/4 fully vaxxed. The only narrative they have is that we're all brainwashed bots. When the truth is, that they're the ones that have been lied to. If it wasn't for their cynical stubbornness, this pandemic would be over already. They're the people who will not take a vaccine, because we of the "long-term effects", but rush to take Invermectin from a veterinary clinic.
  13. Drug Maker Merck applying to the FDA for it's oral anti-viral drug. All other "therapeutic" treatments for COVID have been IV and likely require hospitalization. Not counting Invermectin. Which you really have to be brain damaged if you'd rather take that drug over other options. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/oct/01/covid-antiviral-pill-halves-hospitalisations-and-deaths-maker-says Merck is doing it right. People touting Invermectin never applied for FDA approval.
  14. BTW, I enjoy the anti-vax whining about this more than I thought I would.
  15. Actually unvaxxed can still go to outdoor patios. It's only for indoor dining, gyms, theatres etc. This is a political winner. Vax passports are very popular.
  16. I read on CNN about Ship workers moving through borders. Workers having to get multiple different vaccines to comply with the country they're in or being tested constantly. https://www.cnn.com/2021/09/29/business/supply-chain-workers/index.html Travelling abroad is still no treat. At least it's a reliable cheque. In some of these service sector industries, that can't be guaranteed, especially during COVID. I don't think people should be allowed to collect CERB anymore. But there are still industries that are struggling.
  17. Oxford Study. 1/3 of COVID survivors experience symptoms 3-6 months after diagnosis.

    Long COVID is no joke.

A 1 in 3 chance of persisting symptoms for months after infection.

That alone should be worth getting the vaccine for any sensible human.

      Anti-Vaxxers are not sensible.

“the picture provided by the study is imperfect: It could only capture those who reported symptoms, not those who didn’t”

The study doesn’t say anything about who was selected.  Was it older sicker people vs healthier.  The fact is, depending on your health, covid will affect you very differently.  You Branch Covidians still refuse to accept that scientific fact.  And you still refuse to acknowledge natural immunity.  A scientific fact.  But then you pretend to rely on science.   You discount non peer reviewed studies because they go against your religion, but then post flawed non peer reviewed studies that support your zealotry.  You people need professional help.

I think you don't read well.

I've never questioned natural immunity. But even your shitty Macabi study says that previous infection and vaccination provide even greater protections.

  18. Supply chain issues. This has been the reality for businesses for all of 2021. A combination of Covid restrictions, scarcity of shipping containers, and unexpected demand despite COVID has driven the price of raw materials through the roof. That combined with a reckoning on wages leaves us where we are. People are going to work for slave wages in the service sector anymore.
  19. Can you cite your source on that 600. Regarding Viral Load. If you fight off the virus quickly, which is what the vaccine helps with you are contagious for a much smaller period of time. Both articles you cite refer to the same boy. I hope you have more evidence than that to argue the vaccine is dangerous. 70% of Canadians have been fully vaccinated. How many deaths?
  20. Vaxxing people under 50 helps with Herd Immunity. And you do reduce your level of contagiousness. And Death isn't the only negative outcome. Long-Haul COVID is something many are dealing with. Getting vaccinated is a perfectly safe thing to do. It's only a challenge to POS Anti-Vaxxers who have been lied to by people who probably got vaccinated themselves.
  21. Better get that Electric Vehicle while you can. ?
  22. Restrictions on the Restrictions? In Ontario, the restrictions are very narrow in scope. Much narrower than the lockdowns.
  23. I think you live in a fantasy world where we should have absolute freedom to do anything. With vaccines, it's similar to Seatbelts. Why is seatbelt wearing a law? It doesn't effect anyone if I do or don't wear a seatbelt. Ditto with illicit drugs. They all fall into a public health realm. You're delusional to think that these types of restrictions aren't already common place.
  24. Religious institutions love to take people's rights away.
