Hunter gets a $50k per MONTH job on the board of Burisma, a company that is known to have been one of the most corrupt in Ukraine, while his dad was there "fighting corruption". Joe visited the Ukraine over a dozen times b4 he pulled his massive quid pro quo to get Ukraine's top prosecutor fired. But in all that time, just like with China, "honest injun me and dad never ever said a word about my $50K per month job during the whole time I worked there, he didn't know i even had that job". *cue the release of the pic of Hunter, Joe, and another Burisma board member golfing* "OK yeah we talked about Burisma a couple times". (but CNN says that's no big deal and Joe is beyond reproach, so it's obviously no big deal) Can you tell me Rue, why would Burisma choose to hire someone to do a $50K/mo job when he had no prior experience in oil and gas, he didn't speak Ukrainian, he didn't live in the Ukraine, and he was running a $1.5B business - almost completely based in the US and China? Seeing as there obviously wasn't a requirement to be Ukrainian, Burisma had 7Billion people to choose from. Do you believe in the massive coincidence that they felt that the best fit for their board was a guy who couldn't speak Ukranian and had a full-time job on two continents not called Europe? Can you tell me that there's no need for an investigation into how he landed that job? We hear CNN say "Joe was found to be purely above board!" but no one has ever said that he was officially investigated. Who investigated Joe? Can you name a name? I keep checking the classifieds for a $50K/month job overseas that doesn't require me to speak the official language, have any experience, require my presence, and where I get to keep my current job. Can't find one. Is this the recession that CNN was talking about? Were they finally right for once? Rue these are real questions that need to be answered before you can say that it was wrong to ask for some type of investigation, especially after Biden bragged that he got a prosecutor who looked into Burisma fired "for being lazy on corruption" and then he hired "a good guy" who left Burisma alone. This newest impeachment of Trump is a smear, and it's to keep Biden's fat out of the fire. Period. You know it, you just hate Trump so you're ok with any type of bullseye on his back.

The impeachment process wasn't started to end up in a vote. It was started as a long-term smear campaign disguised as an investigation, just like Russian collusion was. This has no more merit than the latest talk on CNN about how the US was going into a recession, or the Ford allegations, or the Smollett allegations, or collusion, or obstruction, or "biden did nothing wrong", etc. CNN hasn't attempted to get a story right in a really long time. The Dems never stipulated that Russians had to be government agents in order for their help to constitute collusion. Not all of the Russian oligarchs are formally part of the russian govt. This is all important from the POV that Trump's impeachment hinges on the Dems convincing the Republicans that certain rules apply to Trump but not to Hillary, Obama, or anyone else. The Dems won't put anything to a vote because there's no value in a failed vote and they know they have no hope of winning. There is however immense value in a drawn-out, public farce of an investigation that gets 24/7 coverage from the usual suspects in the MSM who are complicit with all the Dems bogus accusations. IE, Russian collusion, Trump dementia, Dr Ford's fake attempted rape charge, obstruction, Biden's are pure, etc, etc, etc. Did you see A-Cooper's question at the debates last night? "Joe, we all know that you and Hunter are innocent of the fake accusations by Trump, how do you respond....?" Or whatever, that was basically it. It was a complete exoneration by MSM in the form of a question, with an open invitation to make an accusation against a person who wasn't there to defend himself, and the accusation from Biden was left to stand as if it had total merit lol. "The other guy needs to be investigated! Don't investigate us! The media already said that we're innocent. What more could you possibly need?!?!?!?" You're just speculating that Trump started this investigation purely for election purposes, based on the speculation made by the "whistleblower". That's not something that will stand up in court. Just the knowledge that Biden committed a crime is enough reason for Trump to have him investigated. Trump was investigated with far less direct evidence than that which existed about Biden at the time that Trump made the call. It's actually bordering on Banana Republic justice to start an investigation into Trump when there was zero direct evidence linking Trump to Russian collusion.

No I'm not. I'm saying that the people who are accusing Trump of this did worse themselves. Technically, by legal statutes, that doesn't make Trump any less guilty, but in the court of public opinion it makes his actions reasonable. What a reasonable person would do is the standard for judging civil cases where's there's no set-in-stone precedent. In order for Trump to be charged criminally the Dems would have to be subjected to the same set of rules and there's already undisputed evidence that they're guilty of doing these exact things.

Green and NDP votes will take away seats from the Libs but they won't necessarily win the ridings either. I remember looking at election results from 2011 and seeing ridings in Que where more than 50% of the people voted for NDP and Lib (combined) and the CPC waltzed out with the win. I don't think that those two will combine to win a majority of ridings, but I think that their combined votes in the majority of ridings will be far more than what the CPC gets.

Why the constant doom and gloom? Even the CBC polls show the Conservatives in first place, and it's guaranteed that they are overrating the Libs and underestimating the CPC.

If anyone ever conferred a benefit on Joe Biden or his family in exchange for a benefit that they wouldn't have otherwise gotten from the Whitehouse, Joe doesn't need to have a job to lose. He'll be up on serious criminal charges. Book it. It could be anything from high treason (very unlikely) down to malfeasance. Influence peddling is deadly serious, just no one usually gets caught. Joe's back would have been 100% covered if Hillary got elected. What you most certainly know is that Hunter Biden mysteriously got a huge salary for a part-time gig at Burisma, and it's a mystery why Joe Biden used the entire weight of his VP status to get a person who investigated Burisma fired. If those two mysteries are tied together in any way then a crime was committed. That's why Joe and Hunter both pretend that Joe was unaware of Hunter's involvement there, and they pretend to never have talked about it. And then a photo surfaced of Joe golfing with his son and another Burisma board member. So now we also have to believe that the conversation of "How do you guys know each other?" never came up as well. Hunter also did business in China, travelling all the way there on AF2 with his dad for 12 hours, and the story goes that Hunter and his dad never talked about Hunter's business dealing on that trip to China either. You have to be a special kind of stupid to believe that Joe Biden had no inkling that his son was getting lucrative jobs and doing billion dollar business deals in China and Ukraine, so it's just a matter of just exactly what they were doing to cash in on Joe's VP position.

C'mon Rue. You saw how Obama stacked the deck against Trump in the exact same way. You saw Hillary pay off foreigners for election dirt. You know how dirty Hunter/Joe's dealings are. 1) Stop acting like Trump is doing something that no one else did. 2) You need to acknowledge the fact that no collusion evidence was ever found, so Trump was investigated while he was innocent. There's no chance that Biden is innocent. His son pulled in $2B in business/salary from countries where his dad was heavily involved as VP. It reeks like a week old fish.

"We can't see how there's anything wrong with foreign countries giving a Dem VP's son lavish jobs and investing vast fortunes into companies that he owns." That's their sworn position. Honestly, Hunter already owned a company in the US and he was doing massive amounts of business in China. If you were hiring someone for a $50+bonuses job in the Ukraine Oil and Gas industry would you choose someone who spoke Ukrainian, had experience and could dedicate himself to it full time or would you chose an American with no experience who already owned a $1B+ business and was barely ever on the continent?

In other news, Hunter Biden just admitted in an interview that he likely wouldn't have gotten the Burisma job if not for his dad's position. Yeah no doubt Hunter. There are 7 billion people on earth, tens of millions of Ukranians, and Burisma just happened to pick the son of the US VP to sit on the board. Trump is doing his job. Dems are in all-out panic mode. Obama released a statement in a secret code: "Ixnay on the IdenBay opictay". If that's not a real Obama quote I'll print a retraction tomorrow.
