Nope, not at all. In China a couple works hard in factories for 40+ hrs a week and they're happy to live in a tiny condo or share a modest condo with another family in an overcrowded, polluted city primarily eating basic staple foods. In Canada when a couple does that much work they expect a big place of their own, two cars, shiny new cel phones & computers & TVs, nice meals, and a nice vacay every year. If we kill our export economy we just need to be willing to live with less.

When Trump brought up investigations, right after the Javelin comment, Trump was referring only to crowdstrike, which was regarding an investigation in Trump himself. The Dems were using the full might of the judicial system to try to pin any type of crime whatsoever on Trump, it's perfectly fine for him to want to find exculpatory evidence. He never asked for a specific outcome, just to find the truth. Oooooh, the truth. Who needs that, right Boges? You certainly don't.

Sondland answered the direct and concise question of whether or not military aid was dependent upon the investigations and he said that he didn't know if that was the case or not. That means that he wasn't ever told that was the case. Zelensky also said that he wasn't aware of the military aid being dependent on any reciprication either. Sondland clearly stated that Zelensky had to "announce the investigations to get a meeting with Trump". That's absolutely not the same as "Zelensky had to announce the investigations in order to receive the aid". Schiff asks Sondland if "he had to announce those two investigations if that official act was going to take place" and Sondland said "yes", because he thought that Schiff was talking about the meeting. Schiff was intentionally vague and misleading, and he knows that he got a good soundbyte, but that's why they call him Schifty. He's not there to get the truth, he's there because he's the biggest douchebag in North America. Now the MSM is out there saying that they have their "Richard Dean" moment, what they are doing is splicing together their "Kent Brockman" moment. Also, the whole issue of what investigation Trump talked to Zelensky about on the phone call was misrepresented to Volker. Trump started the investigation conversation about crowdstrike, which was only pertinent to the Russian collusion investigation, period. That's what Trump asked Zelensky about. Everything after that was a conversation, and Zelensky was the first one to bring any persons or subjects into the conversation which had any bearing on the Biden issue. IE, the prosecutor. Trump arranged to have the AG and Giuliani handle those issues, as is proper. "Our people will talk to your people". At no point did Trump ever say "I want dirt" on Biden or anyone else, so for the Dems to continually frame Trump's call as something it wasn't is heinous, but you propagated their talking points like a good little chump. Trump said that he wanted an investigation into crowdstrike and at no point did he ever ask for it to reach any conclusions whatsoever. There's nothing wrong with that. If Hillary was held to the same scrutiny do you think her calls would be limited to "only find the truth about issues pertaining to investigations into my own conduct"? The FBI offered reduced sentencing, for crimes that were completely unrelated to Russian collusion, to get Manafort to say something bad about Trump, at a point in time when the FBI still didn't have a single shred of evidence that Trump had actually colluded with Russia. He directly said that he was talking about crowd strike, and crowd strike is only pertinent to the Russian collusion investigation which was about Trump himself. IE, Trump wasn’t talking about the proper investigation which needs to be done on Joe Biden, so he wasn’t talking about anything at all that could be construed to be politically motivated. This is just a continuation of the Dems' 3 yr witch hunts, which have included serious abuses of power including using false evidence to obtain & renew search warrants, offering reduced sentencing for false evidence, investigating people for the purpose of finding crimes instead of investigating crimes to find suspects, making a mockery of the SCJ appointment and approval process, "leaking" false evidence, and constantly telling lies to the American people about evidence which they don't have. Dems in the Senate and Congress are proving themselves to be corrupt, and they are wielding the judicial branch of the government as a political weapon and a smear machine.
