Democracy Falters in the US
WestCanMan replied to ReeferMadness's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
No, you just things that are so blatantly stupid or patently false that there’s no point debating with you anymore. “Where nothing can grow, nothing will grow.” I said “Russia was brought to heel” because when Obama was President, Russia went on a massive land grab and unilaterally changed borders in Europe. They interfered in elections, etc. Russia sat in a corner the last few years in basic silence. When they yapped they got slapped. They even helped fight islamic state. When Syria crossed a line Trump bombed them. Russia piped up and said “ You better not do that again or else!!!. And you can’t anyways, our new missile defences are up!”. Syria crossed another line, Trump was put in a position of “put up or shut up” and he said they’re screwed, then he casually bombed them again. Syria and Russia sat there with egg on their faces and just STFU. The American mainstream media and their idiot followers had nothing bad to say about Trump so they just said “ Trump is crazy and has no discernible foreign policy” lol. The rest of the world understood his foreign policy perfectly clearly. “If you do terrible things you will pay a steep price. This isn’t Biotch Obama’s America anymore.” Russian soldiers approached an American base and they got slaughtered. 200 Russians dead because they f’d with America while Trump was POTUS. This is a total 180 from when Obama was PPTUS and members of the American Navy knelt before Iranian sailors and their female was forced to wear a hijab. What happened to Iran again? They got an airplane jam-packed with crisp US dollar bills. How did Trump deal with Iran’s military when they stepped up on him? Ask their top 2 generals. Oh wait, you can’t. Trump killed them. WTF has Russia done lately that even remotely resembles the big, bad Russia of Obama’s day? Nothing Argus, nothing. They’re boxed in until the inauguration. You just don’t have a frigging clue what you’re talking about, at all. You read from CNN’s idiotic script like a drone. If they said fecal coliform cures covid you’d eat your own crap.- 255 replies

LMAO Beavie. I'm arguing with a person who got busted for telling an extremely serious and consequential lie about the President of the USA, and who's now pretending not to believe what is plainly written for all to see in the dictionary. It's that simple. You've turned your one lie into two lies now. FYI "March on Washington" means "attack Washington", period. Full stop. By definition. It's as plain as the day is long. The significance of that turn of phrase cannot be understated in light of the fact that buildings in Washington DC were attacked. What you did was put words in the President's mouth that he absolutely did not say at all. You are the lowest form of liar that there is and that's an absolute fact. Just own it. Everyone here already knows that you're a liar anyways Beave, this is nothing new.- 255 replies

WestCanMan replied to betsy's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
There's the 25th Amendment, where the POTUS can be relieved of his duties due to his declining mental state. That clause was a common rallying cry for the Demonrats for the last 4 years. The only thing that's stopping the GOP from officially moving ahead on that front is the question of how much worse of a President Kamala would be. On the one side there's the fact that Biden needs 20 hrs of sleep a day, is that worse than the fact that Kamala would be wide awake, destroying the country 18 hrs a day? -
The people who are pushing climate change are the exact same people who are caught lying to us over and over again. I have absolutely no reason whatsoever to believe a single word that comes out of the mouth of Trudeau or Lisa LaFlamme because they're scum. If people like you didn't condone media disinformation and even defend their lying then maybe we'd have a media that we could trust instead of the boy who cried wolf.

Wrong. It's 100% certain that bad things happened, it's just hard to prove that it was fraud. There's a really, really big difference between "March on Washington" and "March to Washington". Just because you don't understand it doesn't make a lick of difference. Grow up and admit that you're wrong again, as usual. FYI you're not arguing with me, you're arguing with the dictionary. From a random internet poster with a history of consistently lying and being wrong: From a member of the Unites States Air Force: FYI the rise of islamic state wasn't inevitable. It was the result of weakness and a glaring lack of foresight. Trump inherited a world where terrorist attacks were quite normal, a massive genocide was underway, America's adversaries (NoKo, Russia, Iran, islamic state, China) were all running amok, and America was reeling from 3 years of continuous racial violence and rioting. Terrorist attacks are quite rare now, the people who were committing genocide were obliterated, Russia has been brought to heel, NoKo is quiet, Iran is sulking, islamic state is now islamic village, even Chuck Schumer applauded Trump's dealings with China, and despite the best efforts of the Obamas/CNN and the Dems America still only managed to bring about 4 months of civil unrest in 4 years. Trump rocked it. Biden is inheriting a tidied-up world which will be unrecognizable in 4 years.- 255 replies

Lol, you're still wrong reefer. If one is seditious they're committing the crime of sedition. Seditious still just means being one of the people who is calling for action against the government. Do the noun fury and the adjective furious describe different states of mind? Does one mean feeling angry and the other means committing an act of violence? No, you can be furious and it doesn't mean that you're doing anything. At the point where you're demolishing things you're demolishing things while you're furious. I can't think of a single word where the noun and it's adjective form mean different things and I'm not going to rack my brain over it. (I bet you're Googling wrack right now ) Sedition = talking, treason = doing. The people in the crowds could be rebellious or treasonous, they'd only be seditious at the point in time when they're trying to get other people to do bad things but they're not doing those things themselves. Eg, a wizened imam is telling young men that the right thing to do is to strap explosives to their torsos and go blow up government buildings so that they can go to heaven and get a bunch of virgins, while the imam stays on earth and marries their younger sisters. If you take the word 'terrorism' out of the equation then the imam is guilty of sedition and the dudes blowing themselves to hell are guilty of treason. A group of dudes with explosives strapped to them is not a seditious mob, they are a treasonous mob.- 255 replies

Climate change isn't a hoax. It's a well-documented scientific fact, going well back into pre-history. An example of a hoax was the hockey stick graph. The only thing that's up for debate is whether climate change is because of the yachts & private jets of the people who are pontificating to us about man-made climate change or if it's caused by the exact same things that caused climate change for the last 100,000 years. Maybe it was warm in Kitchener but we barely had a summer here in BC. There wasn't any 'shorts and t-shirts' weather here until July 12th and even after that summer was just like a spring with a bit less precipitation. If they don't have 2020 recorded as the coldest year on record in the Fraser Valley of BC then they're lying, period. Another thing, we're actually at the start of another grand solar minimum that's supposed to last until the '50s. I'm not counting on wearing shorts through September in my lifetime.

Like I said before, nothing that you say really matters because you've been caught lying so many times. Dubya was an actual idiot, not many people would argue that, but the rise of islamic state is all on Obama. He created the power vacuum which everyone else in the world knew would lead to trouble and then he left that Jr Varsity terrorist squad to grow unimpeded. According to one internet liar. Wow. That carries a lot of weight. Obama himself said that it would take 5 years, I didn't pull that out of my arse like some leftist loser. He joked about Trump's impossible claim. Trump got the last laugh, just like I get the last laugh here. Begone peasant.- 255 replies

You have no shame dude. It's pathetic. Trump knew, just like the rest of the world, that the Dems were going to commit fraud based on the fact that they're slimy liars and everyone on earth knows how much easier to commit mail-in fraud than to commit fraud right at the ballot box. Dead people almost never show up at the ballot box, for one. And that's why I'm saying that no one will be charged with sedition. This kind of thing is tolerated in America, much like the rioting and looting and attacks on police. OMG you're so stupid it's just unbearable. Anyone who has been speaking English for twenty years knows the difference between "March on the Capitol" and "Walk down to the Capitol". Leftists need to stop using big words, and apparently in your case that's down two to four letters lol. I'm not here to be the grammar police.- 255 replies

There's some logic in that, to be sure, but let's be completely honest - 95% of Dem sycophants were quite ok with the damage from the riots. No GOP supporters are ok with the damage/carnage on Jan 6. -

Are you kidding me? This doesn't even compare to our government's initial decision to let C19 pour in from China for 45 days while telling people not to wear masks. (If you think about it, Andrew Cuomo killed more people in NY nursing homes in just a couple months than the number of people who died in the history of our whole country from covid. That's unacceptable.)

Overall this protest matched the form of Trump's own words which were about peaceful protest, his words didn't give anyone cause to use force or violence, and like I said before, your false assertion that he told lies to start that protest is meaningless. You could make the point that Giuliani or Don Jr treaded loosely around the line that shouldn't be crossed, but theirs were far from the worst examples of sedition over the past 4 years.- 255 replies

Whatever there was when Bush took over, it wasn't a large country Beave, and you know that but you are too much of a liar and Obama sycophant to admit it. Follow the numbers Beave... They go, "1, 2, 3, 4", from top to bottom. FYI: 1) when Bush left office there was no country known as islamic state, there was an unstable Iraq which was being successfully propped by US troops (albeit at the cost of many casualties) and a stable Syria, 2) by Obama's own words, islamic state was "just a Jr Varsity terrorist squad" when he took office, 3) islamic state grew to be one of the 100 largest COUNTRIES on earth while Obama was POTUS, 4) by Obama's estimate it would take 5 years to get islamic state off the map. In summary: islamic state was officially a Jr Varisty terrorist squad in Nov 2008, islamic state became one of the largest 100 countries in the world and they grabeed 100% of that land mass during the Obi-wrong Presidency, islamic state was on pace to remain a nation for 5 years under Obi-wrong's plan, but Trump had them whipped like dogs after 3 months and almost entirely wiped off the map within 6 months. IE, islamic state for all intents and purposes was really just a thing under Obama. 0 minutes before his Presidency and a few short months after his Presidency. And further to another idiotic post that you had above, questioning what Trump did to stop terrorism in the US and abroad... - Trump filled Iraq and Syria with islamic state corpses and created a new world where no one puffs out their chest and says "I'm the leader of this terrorist group!" by killing all of their leaders, including Suleimani. When there isn't anyone bold enough to crow, there are far less people willing to 'follow'. History is rife with armies and mobs that vanished when their leaders fell. It's the norm. Bite the head off the snake. Don't worry Beave, you'll see soon enough what foolish & feckless leadership can do to prop up your enemies once Biden is at the helm. The contrast will be stark and very unfortunate for a lot of decent, innocent, freedom-loving people. You'll get your chance to repeat the leftist mantra: "It's too early to say whether or not islamic terrorism was to blame, this van/bomb attack is just a gun control issue right now" over and over again.- 255 replies

That's not germane to this discussion. Fact is that you can't just say that Trump is a liar for repeating things that several people testified to under oath. Get it Beave? Sure it is. Lying to achieve that end is not an established legal means though. Libel and slander are not recognized means for a legal regime change. When Brennan, Clapper etc were saying those things to muppets who watch CNN they were creating an environment in which idiots felt justified to participate in verbal and physical attacks on members of the GOP. Members of the government were harassed, assaulted and shot. He said "walk down to the Capitol' you liar. It was half of 2014, all of 2015 and all of 2016, but they didn't instantly stop when Trump took over. The atmosphere where idiots felt like it was the will of their anointed one that there should be rioting, looting arson, cop-killing and murder didn't go away overnight. The riots under Trump were nowhere near 3 years long fool. Floyd was killed on May 25th and to that point there hadn't been a single riot. The Bodycam footage was leaked in early August, effectively ending the Obama's beloved riots. Only the ultra-dolts in Portland were still acting up after that. Chaz was cleared and the BLM cops stopped murdering black kids on July 1. I dunno if you made that up or if you're quoting someone who's equally stupid but there wasn't a genocidal theocracy controlling a nation-sized land mass when Bush left office, aside from maybe Pakistan. You're wrong again, as usual. Geez, I wonder why that is. FYI Russia was a nobody on the international scene for over a decade before Obama came along and muttered his famous quote to Romney to the effect that: "The 1990's called - they want their Russian foreign policy back" or whatever. He was convinced that the Russians were no longer a threat and he ignored them. Nunes and the House Intel Committee warned Obi-wrong that the Russians were working hard at interfering in the US elections and Obi-wrong droned on interminably about how it was impossible. Then during Obama's weak and stupid terms in office, Russia bought a couple hundred thousand dollars worth of FB ads and gave Trump a victory lol (I'm joking, but a lot of completely worthless idiots actually still believe that). They also took over Crimea and some territory along their border with Ukraine. In short, they took what they wanted while Obi-wrong wrung his hands and fretted. Russia didn't manage to sweet FA while Trump was POTUS though, aside from helping to kill islamic state, and getting a bunch of their own soldiers wasted when they approached a US base. I'm sure this is all news to you but you don't need to Google it all, because in stark contrast with you, I only say things that are true. Blah, blah, blah (translates to "wrong, wrong, wrong", as usual). They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but in this case only two are needed. "You're wrong" (unless the Bureau of Labor Statistics is wrong lol): Always fun chatting with ya Beave. Have a really terrific day 8)- 255 replies

1) The act of sedition involves a call to action, not just saying things that you believe in your heart to be untrue. 2) From what I've seen, Trump is just reiterating things that others have sworn to in affidavits and have testified to in court, and last I heard none of them were charged with perjury. 3) After all the lies that Schiff, Clinton, Clapper, Brennan et al have said over the past three years, with the sole purpose of unseating a duly elected President, the sudden concern in the US over the act of sedition is a total joke Aristides. Granted, a serious line was crossed in Washington, but Trump didn't even hint that anyone should go to that extent.- 255 replies

There was other violence. Pushing the gates back into and over the police is pretty bad, there were scuffles there, and I heard reports of teargas being used on officers but I don't know if that's true. If it is then someone is royally screwed. That's worthy of several years in jail imo. -

1) You can't keep calling a person a liar and then not offering proof, and saying stupid things isn't considered proof of anything. Your lying is getting out of hand. 2) FYI those things are EXACTLY the kinds of things that constitute support of rioting when you do all those things in support of a group that is inciting riots. And FYI BLM wasn't a bunch of 'peaceful protestors' Beave. They selectively edit video to make police look bad and then disseminate their deceitful trash as broadly as they can for the sole purpose of inciting rioting you genius. I didn't even read any of the rest of your post. There's literally no point. I've already offered up enough proof of the abject worthlessness of it.
