People's accounts were frozen for giving small donations to the Freedom Convoy. That's not a crime at all. Rebel News reporters often end up on the ground for getting too close to Trudeau, and by "too close" I mean 5x as far away as other reporters. It's not a crime for Rebel News reporters to cover the PM. This country doesn't resemble a free democracy and people like you are encouraging its downfall.

TBH there's not much difference between "freezing" and "seizing" from a peon's pov. The money's there, then it's gone. Whether you "get your account seized and then get the money back" or you "get your account frozen and then unfrozen" it's the exact same thing, and it doesn't make a lick of difference to the federal gov't if they seize the assets of one Canadian. The main thing is that the government of Canada has started attacking their political enemies using the banking system. That means that the money that you work for isn't yours if you irk the PM.

The Nazis also froze the bank accounts of their political opponents. It's quite an effective strategy, even if it does undermine confidence in your financial institutions and deters foreign investment.

In order to be called a peaceful protest by the media you need to loot some stores, assault some innocent civilians & some cops, burn down some low-income housing, tear down some statues, chant about murdering police officers, and block roads & bridges. Our Freedom Convoy only checked 1 of the 6 main boxes (There are no part-marks for just hanging a sign off of a statue). I'm really glad that Tamara is being rewarded fo her hard work and her decency. Canadians should be really proud of what the convoy achieved. It is probably one of the largest & longest peaceful protests ever, over an extremely contentious issue.

I didn't even know about it until today, but the article that I cited was from April 27th. I'm pretty surprised that the news never got around to me. I wonder if there was a social media ban on it for a while.

Another scary aspect of this is that right now, while there are millions of unvaxed people in our country, we still have a 'control group'. IE, when new viruses come out there will be enough purebloods to find out how well natural immunity fights them off, and we can be compared to the lab rats with the jab. If everyone is vaxed then people can start dying in droves and the gov't can just say "Yeah, this is a really scary new virus, cause by global warming. Nothing can stop it. Sorry."

Yeah, I find it weird that there's something in people's bodies telling their immune systems what to do. "Let's just crank out this new MRNA vax tech as fast as possible and inject billions of people with it. It will replace 200M years of evolution in just a few months. What could possibly go wrong?" Hopefully it's like an original movie, which is always better than the sequels, but there's a 99.9% chance that it's the Beta version of Microsoft Immunity. I am a bit worried by the fact that now hostile governments know exactly what antibodies our immune system is going to make when we encounter a new virus. It's like having a navigation system in your car that can only say "turn left".

Our government's whole shtick is "The vaccine works perfectly and it is perfectly safe." They won't acknowledge anything else and they don't have to because the media has their back.

From 2016 - 2020 the Dems were Putin's useful idiots, falling hook, line and sinker for his $200K FB meme campaign which was designed to put Americans at odds with each other. Putin put on about 40 lbs just sitting on his couch laughing. FFWD to 2022, it's actually Xi who's playing the Dems and the Russians now. He sidled up to the now-chubby Putin and whispered "You take Ukraine, we'll take Taiwan", and that apparent unholy alliance put the Dems in a tizzy. "WAR WITH RUSSIA! WE NEED WAR!!!!" But China screwed Russia - Xi isn't going to make a move until Russia and the US have shot their bolt. They're sitting on a hill watching the tigers fight, like the US did from 1938-1941. Xi has a 100-yr plan and Biden lacks the foresight to pee before he goes to bed. The way that China is re-writing the scripts for Hollywood is a metaphor for future of the real world. They're buying off American olympians, actors and basketball players now. They're eating America's lunch. We're just rejoicing over identity politics & spreading global warming hysteria (in real terms that's wallowing in self-loathing and transitioning from energy self-reliance to dependence on Chinese green technology). I've reminded people many times that in the grand scheme of things, democracy is just a blip on the radar, but people tend to think that it's guaranteed to last forever and that there are no internal or external threats to it. "We can just worry about gender pronouns while the rest of the world admires us from afar." Canada and the US are leaderless right now in terms of foreign policy and military readiness, but on the domestic front we're experiencing dangerous levels of control over the media & judiciary by regimes which are hostile to all of the checks and balances which make a democracy possible. Somehow our gov't is trading us self-loathing and identity politics for democracy. It's a sad joke that's playing out like a slow motion train wreck. Freedom of the press is an indispensable component of democracy, but fawning sycophant leftists cheer for Trudeau when he gives the CBC $675M for favourable coverage, gives $600M to "select media outlets" before the 2019 election, and then gives another $61M to top-secret media outlets "to ensure accurate election coverage" in the 2021 election. Even some leftistThey are pleasantly surprised every time the RCMP throws a Rebel News reporter to the ground, or when social media censors the truth and shadow-bans conservatives for being correct. "But he's so woke! How can he be the bad guy? His scandals are ok because he gives us license to slander our political opponents!" I don't think of Liberal Party of Canada flunkies as Canadians with different priorities. At their very best they're useful idiots and propaganda victims.
