What's more, Trudeau's only real poignant moments as Oppo Leader for that whole period came when he yelled about Duffygate in the HoC for 3 years, but the CBC never said that he was too negative. FYI Poilievre's tone has never sunk to the level that Trudeau constantly carried on in the HoC, and PP is only ever seen to politely offer the truth and pragmatic comments on air, yet somehow the CBC calls him "too negative to be an effective leader". Hmmmm. WE Scandal: Involved, literally, 10,000 times as much money. 900 "million" is exactly ten thousand times as much as 90 "thousand". To put that into perspective, the yellow dots on Hwy here in Langley are 6m long, and there's 8M gap between them. So it's 20m from the beginning of one dot to the end of the next. IE, each dot takes about 10m in distance. So if you pass 10,000 dots at 10m each, you go 100,000m. That's 100km. So, the next time you're driving down the hwy, just say "$90,000 Duffygate scandal" every time you pass a yellow dot, and do that for 100km. Sometime it was there, sometimes it wasn't. There was an election later that same year and they never talked about it until the election was over, oddly stating that "Scheer couldn't win the election despite Trudeau's scandals (plural), so it's probably time for him to resign". Not only did WE give Trudeau's mom $300k for her speeches, they gave her $150k in expenses (a lot for just a person with no equipment to speak of). Trudeau's gov't also offered WE money, about $1.9M per event, to do shows. So a lot of taxpayer money went into WE and then straight to his mom's pocket. WE also made Hitler Youth-style propaganda for Trudeau. Trudeau's mom, doing speeches, earned ten times as much as Morneau's daughter did for working there for 1 full year.
