  2. Google "There’s always kind of a calming feeling I tell folks when I think of the Holocaust". You can find recordings of it.
  3. Alberta oil sells at far below the world price because they don't have proper access to world markets. A huge percentage of it goes to the US and it's like surplus oil for them now. They don't need it anymore. It's like selling ice to an inuit. Hence the need for pipelines, but our current PM is talking out of both sides of his mouth. Smirking westward: "You want a pipeline Alberta, we'll get it approved! Look I just spent another $4B of taxpayer money!" Glowing with pride in front of his adoring Quebecers and his Saudi handlers: "Hello earthlings! No need to worry! We're making the pipeline approval process bulletproof and we're shutting down the oilsands!"
  4. Being AOC's toady looks good on you eyeball. Get the badge.
  5. Still, 95 is a lot of crackheads.
  6. I am in agreement with people who say that there is a crisis at the border. I never said there wasn't one. It's multi-faceted. It involves human trafficking, drugs, terrorists, people are dying in the desert, the cartels are making a small fortune, families are still getting separated at the border, it's an expensive problem, the tens of thousands of daily interactions between border guards and illegal immigrants will eventually result in an unfortunate incident, and the US can't handle immigration at the current rate, etc. I think that the Dems are working much harder to gain political points from it than they are at trying to solve the problem. Case in point, AOC. She is talking (lying) about intentional inhumanity, not the fact that detention centers are overcrowded resulting in "inhumane conditions". It's worth noting that she also voted against money to battle the problem. Forcing people to drink out of toilets would be intentional inhumanity if it was really happening. Calling the detention centers "concentration camps" is another massive lie/insult at the exact same level. (Ironically, we all know that almost everyone in North America equates concentration camps with the holocaust and think that the holocaust was a horrible thing, but one of the members of the squad said that "she gets a calming feeling in her body when she thinks about the holocaust". You'd think that they'd steer clear of the topic, but I guess it doesn't really matter because CNN will never mention that.)
  7. Lol eyeball, you're just backing up your stream of lies and deflection with more lies and deflection. I haven't moved the goalposts at all. I proved that you backed AOC's idiotic lies with quotes that didn't actually back her claims at and I stand by that. I'm right on point and you're still toeing the line for the moron who is inspiring domestic terrorists. Get an emotional support llama if you can't handle it.
  8. Lol. I just had an emotional reaction to the anabolic, imbecilic hyperbole and there wasn't any material there worth responding to.
  9. Really Rue? Do you remember the list of promises that he made before he was elected and how many of those things he has already done? Whether he's just a figurehead or he has actual power, the things that he told the American people he would do are getting done somehow. I don't doubt that there are people behind the scenes, whose names we don't know, who have far more power than they should, but Trump's agenda is moving fwd.
  10. You're completely unable to comprehend the difference between: -AOC saying things like "detention centers are concentration camps" and "border guards are forcing people to drink from the toilet" (and her idiotic squad members are repeating them in Congress), and -things like "detention centers are overwhelmed, there's not enough money in the system right now to deal with so many illegal aliens". Here's the difference eyeball - what AOC is accusing the US of is "intentional inhumanity", that's the first thing that you need to understand. The other thing that you need to understand is that detention centers aren't free and they can't magically create space, or food. If the Democrats refuse to build a wall, and refuse to fund the border, and refuse to stop encouraging illegal immigration just to score political points then detention centers will continue to run on fumes and the people who get lumped in there will have a rough go. An AOC-inspired domestic terrorist just got killed attacking a detention center. He has roughly the same understanding of the overall situation as you have. He's listening to people who are saying the same things that you are, and some of those things are obvious lies and others have been proven to be false. Ilhan Omar and the Democrats refuse to condemn that act of terrorism against a federal facility in their own country. They can't even comment on it because once they open up that can of worms they'll have to answer tougher questions like "why is a domestic terrorist quoting the squad?" It's never a good time to say things that you know aren't true eyeball, and it's just as bad to pretend that you're proving them by quoting sources that say things which are saying completely different things. If you can find me a quote by CATO that says something like "they're running concentration camps" or "it's the Republicans who are creating/encouraging a situation where massive hordes of illegal aliens are rushing the border" or "Republicans are encouraging intentional inhumanity at the border and in detention camps" then I'll admit that CATO is backing you and AOC. Remember that AOC's quote specifically makes it seem as though underfunding isn't the cause of any of the inhumanity. You're pretending to back that up with a Republican's own quotes (which don't do that at all) and CATO's own information. You're either engaging in deception or you're an imbecile. I don't doubt that among the tens of thousands of border guards and detention center guards there are at least a few a-holes, but that's impossible to avoid. Can you prove that Republicans or the bad old US government are encouraging that? I know you can't. But I can prove that Dems are exacerbating the problems at the border six ways from Sunday and that they're inspiring domestic terrorism with their stream of blatant lies (the ones that sucked you in hook, line and sinker).
  11. Wrong. Obama got the country all fired up about police shootings which weren't nearly as bad as advertised. "He looked like me" lol. Then the Ferguson shooting got blown out of proportion by CNN and the Prez failed to get things in perspective. With good reason, now that we have the benefit of hindsight. Obama doubled the debt. You know that's not true at all. Alberta is in a bad place because Trudeau scared away over $140B in investment. He's telling the world that we're phasing out the oil sands. Conversely he's unduly influencing everyone he can for SNC Lavalin & Quebec. WTH Boges. Out to lunch.
  12. No, it was blowback from the fact that the country was going downhill for the previous 4 years or so. The main thing he cites is the unemployment numbers, which are crazy good. He doesn't mention the DJ Avg. It's nowhere near what the US economy is. The economy in Alberta is terrible. Debt is ballooning. Scandals (with actual guilt involved, not just media hyperbole) have become normal. I give JT credit for that.
  13. You can interpret it how you want. He's basically telling a bunch of anti-Americans, specifically "women of colour" who got elected to Congress yet complain about America's huge problem with racism and women of colour lol, that they come from places that are far worse than America and if they want to fix the world they should start back there, not in a country that's far better than the ones built by their own ancestors.
  14. Where did I ever say it was humorous that people lived in inhumane conditions? Where did I laugh about that? Find that or go to hell with your little lying buddy. Bingo.
  15. The economy was plateauing under Obama. It was nothing like it is now. Look at the DJ Avg from May 2016 to Feb 2017 if you don't believe me. There was also widespread rioting and looting in the USA, racial division was flourishing, cop-killing was popular, Islamic State sprung up and grew to the size of a large country, large-scale terrorist attacks on US soil were becoming normal, and the US was at war. If you can't admit that the US is far better off now than it was 4 years ago that's pathetic. Trump is more popular now than he ever has been, and his approval rating is where Obama's was at at this point in his presidency.
  16. Any decent candidate could have easily beaten Trump in 2016. Just his quote about Megan Kelly's "blood coming out of her eyes and whatever else" should have been enough to sink his ship. Problem is that the DNC barfed out Hillary, and the MSM screwed up. Instead of leaving the focus on the things he said and did that would have derailed his campaign, they kept covering his new quotes,. They pushed the old things out of mind. Then they started with the disinformation campaign which has just backfired on them. Less and less people watch CNN and MSNBC all the time. 202 will be much tougher. Trump has had a really successful run thus far. Islamic State is in shambles, the economy is booming, and the country is at peace. The 4 hos of the apocalypse are running the DNC into the ground and the rest of the field is trying to out-virtue-signal each other and they're grasping at socialist straws. The DNC is a mess. IMO the best chance to beat Trump comes from within the Republican party.
  17. In the OP, the final question is unsupported by the first two sentences. Sure the US is working on their weapons systems. That doesn't mean that they "want" WWIII to start.
  18. Stop quoting AOC and backing her quotes, stop following moronic Maddow and Copper talking points, and I'll stop accusing you guys of doing those things. Fair?
  19. Your policies are idiotic. People like you hate walls, you prefer armed border guards and dogs, because somehow you all think that hundreds of thousands of interactions between illegal migrants and border patrol agents can't possibly be bad. You think that there is infinite time and space to hold illegal immigrants in detainment centers. It's mind-boggling. People like you say "Just let them go, they'll appear back in court. Just because they crossed the border illegally doesn't mean that they'll ignore a summons to appear in court" lol. That's an inflammatory and ignorant statement straight outta lib 101. Go to hell.
  20. You keep trying to distance yourself from AOC, but the genesis of our whole back and forth here is your reply to a post about AOC's complaints about inhumanity at the border. If you don't believe AOC then speak out against her quotes, or ignore her quotes, don't back them up. Just yesterday another American Congresswoman quoted AOC's claim that people were being forced to drink out of toilets at the border 'concentration camps'. You're no better than she is.
  21. Do you think that big oil down in the States doesn't have any stooges out there peddling falsehoods? Do you think that I trust a site like phys.org? Do you think I care if our oil releases 14% more CO2? Do you think I care what Global News and CBC say? I've posted on here several times about how caught up they are in passing around lies. Once I catch them lying blatantly I'm done with them. The same people who bitch about the oil sands bitch about burning Alberta coal and how bad it is. I lived for 20 years by a lake that had 3 coal-fired power plants around it and I never heard anyone complaining about coal residue, smoke, or anything else that was coal-related. Your opinion of oil sands oil means nothing to me eyeball. You are the kind of person to get led around by the nose by people like Rachel Maddow, Anderson Cooper, AOC, etc. I don't trust your judgement one bit.
  22. To be honest, the US doesn't need foreign oil as badly as they used to since their ability to extract their own oil just went up by so much. Twenty years ago the US was extremely dependent on vast amounts of foreign oil. Terrorist countries weren't the only option to buy oil back when the US was more desperate, but Canada couldn't supply all of their oil, Russia wasn't going to sell them any oil, and if they had to get the majority of their oil from a single place like Venezuela (if that was even a possibility) then they would literally be over a barrel (that's pretty damn funny).
  23. Yes you are backing AOC's claims. She's the one who started off all the ridiculous accusations of inhumanity, such as "people were forced to drink from toilets". When you're talking about all the current inhumanity and what we're going to find out in the future it's 100% because you're drinking stupidity from AOC's firehose. Here's MH's post and your reply is below, just in case you forgot: Your reply, : Busted. This is you actually going along with AOC's moronic claims of intentional inhumanity. Your misinterpretation of Will Hurd's words, to be exact. He's not saying the same things that AOC is saying. His quotes don't jive with her accusations. AOC is saying that guards are intentionally inhumane, doing things like harassing and "forcing people to drink out of toilets". Will Hurd said nothing of the sort in your quote. His quote just boils down to overcrowding. It's not the same thing at all. The fact that there's overcrowding just goes along with the whole scenario of underfunding, which is why Republicans said that there was a border crisis back when Dems were still saying there was not a crisis at all. I guess you see what you want to see, your interpretations are just ridiculous.
