  1. That's a pretty articulate response, although completely off-topic. You do listen to what they're saying on CNN and you're regurgitating their talking points like a blankie-wielding screamer. BS. You're re-directing me to an entire thread instead of providing actual cites to back your ridiculous claim. well thought out plausible related to the questions I was asked He stopped him for 522 days, as per your own source, and he stopped him from testing long-range ballistic missiles entirely. Also, the US hasn't given up a single thing to NoKo in all of this. Trump enacted sanctions that are still in place to this day and it cost the US zero. Missile testing is drastically down and NoKo's economy is getting crushed. The US has received hostages back as well. When Obama was in power he did absolutely nothing to NoKo. Zero. NoKo was acting like Godzilla. They aren't playing that game anymore. Still in place. But you say that Trump should be overreacting to slight grievances... Which one is it? Go heavy on every single little thing or just let consensus pile up? Your two ideas are in complete conflict with each other. Shocker. 100% wrong, as usual, but this time in dramatic fashion. They would react just like they reacted to the Cuban missile crisis. They would seek international co-operation and they would fight like men. They wouldn't send out kids to strap explosives to their bodies and then go to blow kids up after a concert. Iran is a religiously-bigoted shithole that's led by genocidal douchebags with extremely low IQs. War with Iran is inevitable, it's just a matter of whether it occurs before or after they have nukes.
  2. I'm glad you enjoyed that bit of clarity, even though it came at the expense of having your startling inability to be honest exposed. I know that you think that's a clever distinction, but it's ridiculous. Even if you were watching with the volume turned down you'd still be brainwashed by their printed headlines and the ticker. OK GH, let's see your laundry list of cites to back that up. Oh, just your opinion again? That's a shocker. 1) Instead of giving NoKo gobs of money, like a Demmie, he put punitive sanctions against NoKo, and he got them to stop testing ballistic missiles. 2) He's offering NoKo an out, that's not a bad move politically. If he didn't do that, in line with the sanctions, he would just be the person that CNN says he is. If you knew anything about international politics and strategies then you'd know that building consensus, both domestically and internationally, is a huge part of a winning proposition. If the US nuked Iran after they grabbed a single tanker the US would become the absolute black sheep of the international community and Iran would achieve martyrdom. If the US bombed targets in retaliation for the drone attack, and they resulted in human deaths, even if they were just military casualties, the US would be losing ground in the PR war. And besides, ran would claim that they were mostly civilian casualties, and they'd even throw some dead kids on the pile too, I kid you not. Again, the US would lose the PR war. Right now the world is seeing Iran continue to emerge as the bad guy. Even people like you, who favour Iran in this, are saying that Iran is 'smacking noses' which means that you're acknowledging the fact that they're the ones out there who are on the attack. Being the aggressors. That's the kind of thing that helps create a general consensus that something needs to be done about Iran. It means that Trump is winning. He's like the little snake on the bottom of the ocean that plays dead so that little fish come to nibble on it. The mullahs are walking on the edge of their graves right now.
  3. You're calling someone who gets a calming feeling when talking about the holocaust (Tlaib), and someone who is spewing outright lies about the US government being involved in forcing illegal immigrants to drink out of toilets (AOC), and an outspoken religious bigot (Omar) "ladies"? That's pathetic. Those females are just a smidgeon above 'hos' if you're handing out titles. I've supported Trump for quite a while and never referred to him as a 'gentleman'. You say that he doesn't think things through because you listen to CNN too much. The end result of the Syrian conflict is that he ran circles around Putin and islamic state is gone. NoKo had to STFU and stop shooting missiles around after Mattis said "If they shoot missiles at us that's called 'war' ". American foreign policy went from being a wishy-washy epic failure to being bang on target. Xi and Iran and NoKo have all been forced to pay the piper. Iran is doing what Iran always does, it's just counter-productive now. They're digging themselves a hole instead of looking like a world leader.
  4. For example? I see a lot of America-bashing but not much about Canada.
  5. Sounds like you're one of those people who doesn't actually do the right things in life, so you get your dopamine rush from talking about other people and virtue signalling. Riiiight. They can't completely avoid the topics of SNC or Adm Norman or paid trips to private islands that belong to foreign leaders, so they give them the absolute minimum coverage possible and quickly draw attention away to less important topics. "Duffygate", over $90K, made headline news for 3 years. Trudeau has only been PM for a bit more than 3 years and all of his scandals are already long-forgotten by CBC. If you can't see the massive difference then that's why you're a liberal sycophant.
  6. Their talking points aren't about how awesome life is in those cities, and their opinions aren't representative of people in those cities. People from Chicago don't say things like "I get a calming feeling when I talk about the holocaust" do they? Do people from Detroit go on about how bad Jews are, and how evil America is for supporting those bad zionists in Israel? I'm breathlessly awaiting your deflection.
  7. I've already explained this to you. If you can't read or understand what's already posted here that's your problem, not mine.
  8. Trump and the Republicans are portrayed almost exactly the same way on CBC, CTV and Global as they are on CNN and MSNBC. If I was dumb enough to just believe what I saw on those stations I'd hate Trump too. CTV and CBC can't find fault with Trudeau no matter what happens, but they can find fault with literally everything Trump says or does. They spent 3 years pimping duffygate like the biggest story in the history of our country and yet for some reason the SNC & Norman stories vanished as quickly as they came. It has been less than a year for both of those stories and they're already way back under the rug. They didn't even get headline coverage when they were new.
  9. You're accusing me of being the person that I just proved you to be when you said "some folk understand that non-white people born in a white country don't actually belong". There was no "investigating beyond your own bias" done there. You just chimed in on the conversation with an inflammatory insult which you know to be untrue. Again, straight outta CNN 101. What Trump said wasn't racist at all. Trump is saying that the people who feel that they and their countries of origin/culture are superior to Americans should clean up the places which they feel are superior and then come back and share their awesome experience to make America better. You saying that white people don't think coloured people belong in their "white countries" is actually racist. Tlaib saying that talking about the holocaust gives her a calming feeling is extremely bigoted and hateful. If you're so interested in calling out racists then why don't you start with the worst ones, who actually said extremely racist and hateful things? Tlaib and Omar are attacking the integrity and character of the US and they're belching out disgustingly bigoted and hateful talking points which are prominent in their places of origin. How does that make sense to you? AOC ran her entire election campaign based on the fact that people of ethnicity can't be represented by white people. That's entirely racist. I don't remember much about the other member of the squad, aside from her being generally hateful and accusatory. I could try to watch her speak again but she's disgusting.
  10. Well in your mind you should come up with responses to what people actually say, rather than what you wish they would have said so that your insults would make sense. Ok, the country/culture which they deem to be so superior.
  11. Riiiiight. And after all that you say insightful things like: Straight from CNN talking points 101. "We don't have any actual facts on our side, so let's go on an accusation/virtue-signalling campaign. Get some suckas riled up!'
  12. He didn't say go back to your shithole countries, so once again you're lying. If you want to actually paraphrase his argument accurately it reads more like: "You guys seem to think America is really bad, and you're still proudly carrying the torch for the places and the cultures that your family came from, but those places are in fact far worse than America in every meaningful way, so why don't you clean up the places that you came from so that your arguments about how bad America is actually start to make sense? Then by all means, please come back and help us make our country better as well."
  13. Yup. But the processes were at least hopeful. There was over $135 Billion worth of plans, based on the fact that it seemed to be possible. Within 2 years of Trudeau being in power all of those plans fell like dominos. I have a feeling that if $30B of that money could go to Quebec Trudeau would back in the saddle faster than a young John Wayne.
  14. Once again you guys are off on your own bullshit tangent, just making things up to make yourselves feel morally superior instead of just conducting civil, thoughtful, insightful dialogue. I dare you to try and sit in front of CNN for just one hour and think really hard about whether or not the things that they are saying are actually true or if they're a twisted, politicized concoction that doesn't represent the accurate and meaningful truths of the story at all. Let's PVR the same show and you don't even have to pick out the lies the first time around, you can just find one or two topics that they hit on that you believe in your heart of hearts to be 100% accurate and on point and we can discuss that. I dare you try and find even one thing that you can hang your hat on, aside from a fluff story that's thrown in there to make themselves look compassionate and sincere.
  15. I bet you could if you really set your mind to it. Make a donation to the Dems or Libs, join a far-left group and go to some protests, wear a badge, prove that you can read and write, you're probably guaranteed a spot.
  16. I just said it's likely. It's worthy of reporting on if her own father said it. He would almost certainly have known his grandparents very well, seeing as his family was well-off enough for him to have received an education over there, and his grandparents would know for sure. Snopes is trying to make it seem as though reporting on it was irresponsible but if this story was about a Republican, or especially trump, it would be headline news on CNN for months.
  17. Snopes: https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/kamala-harris-ancestor-slaves/ Snopes officially calls this account "unproven" even though they acknowledge that it's Kamala Harris's own father who made the claim that their family owned slaves less than a century before he was born. This is a far more specific claim than Elizabeth Warren's claim to way-back Native American heritage. FWIW here's what Snopes said about her heritage question: LMFAO. They don't give it a "proven" rating, they don't actually give it a "rating" at all, they just say "her DNA test provides strong evidence". They skipped the actual rating because if they did it would have to be "false". That's because she never claimed to be "somewhere between 1/128th and 1/1024th native", she claimed to be a native, and Trump's claim that she was drastically lying by calling herself native on her Harvard entry is bang-on. Anyhoo, back to Snopes disgusting article on Harris, they are looking down their noses at various "right-leaning" sites for reporting on an issue that undoubtedly has merit, even by their own admission: Snopes thinks that they are throwing shade at them for publishing these claims, but they were made by her own father, and they are about someone who died less than 90 years before he was born. IMO that's very good reason to publish those claims. There's no reason to believe that his own family wouldn't be aware of who his ancestors were just a few generations ago, and it's not like he was claiming to be descended from someone awesome. Not many people would make up a story that they were descended from a huge loser. This reminds me of a friend I had back in my early 20's. His name was Kwame and he was half Jamaican and half Nigerian. He went to Nigeria to meet his dad's family and he found out that they were all highly-educated, they were fairly well-to-do, and they were descended from bigtime slave-owners back in the day. It struck me as ironic that if I went into a bar down in Georgia with him the most racist and uninformed people down there would think of me as a slaver and him as a victim. My ancestors worked in coal mines back when they were dangerous, they farmed other people's fields and they fought in wars. Living in a shack on the prairies and working in a coal mine back in the '30's wasn't much better than being a slave, and fighting in a war is worse. I have a huge hatred for condescending Democrat/Liberal morons who act like they belong on a pedestal virtue-signalling when they're actually just ignorant bigots.
  18. Whoa, whoa, whoa. You just blew past a crazy statement by a vile bigot without even commenting on it. What Tlaib said was easily 1,000 times worse than anything Trump ever said so let's just hear your comment on her GH.
  19. He didn't create laws to make it even tougher
  20. They just need to go into more detail about the "certain perception of Jews" part and then it's no longer "overly broad". The perception they are talking about is that Jews as a group are "controlling, manipulating, greedy, evil group" but they're too afraid to define what anti-Semitism entails. It would be fine to be critical of an action carried out by Israel, but not fine to say that the action was part of an evil Jewish conspiracy to deprive muslims of their rightful homeland. In general what you get for anti-Semitism is people making claims that the US and Israel are evil, manipulating aggressors who are always flexing on the poor Palestinians and the Palestinians just want peace and what's rightly theirs. The truth is that if the Jews get what they want they'll have 1% of the middle east. If Hamas gets what they want there will be no more jews alive in the middle east. Hamas leaders and many other prominent muslims have said over and over again that genocide in Israel is their goal.
  21. Then she said this: Lol. What a hideous loser. In a way it's good to see these high profile say what they really think, but it's sad that they rise so high in politics when they're so loathsome.
  22. Tlaib: https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/rashida-tlaib-says-thinking-of-the-holocaust-provides-her-a-calming-feeling-shockingly-claims-palestinians-created-safe-haven-for-jews

  24. Google "There’s always kind of a calming feeling I tell folks when I think of the Holocaust". You can find recordings of it.
  25. Alberta oil sells at far below the world price because they don't have proper access to world markets. A huge percentage of it goes to the US and it's like surplus oil for them now. They don't need it anymore. It's like selling ice to an inuit. Hence the need for pipelines, but our current PM is talking out of both sides of his mouth. Smirking westward: "You want a pipeline Alberta, we'll get it approved! Look I just spent another $4B of taxpayer money!" Glowing with pride in front of his adoring Quebecers and his Saudi handlers: "Hello earthlings! No need to worry! We're making the pipeline approval process bulletproof and we're shutting down the oilsands!"
