  1. I didn't say that I "believed" your article. I said that if your article is even true it still isn't pointing out anything worth getting alarmed about. Do you get it? That's just basic english that you're sucking at now. Grow up.
  2. It's not? I'm not sure what your point is.
  3. That's not at all what I said. Are you daft? The R C basically amounted to the fact that the centers were overwhelmed. That's normal when one of the two major political parties is actively encouraging a rush to the border and blocking funding at the same time. That doesn't mean that there is intentional inhumanity there, like forcing people to drink out of toilets. That is NOT HAPPENING. AOC is a lying loser and you're her toady. Get a clue. If your quote is a reasonable characterization of their position, then yes. I haven't seen anything that they said aside from your blurb, which is farcical, so I can't really give them a fair overll assessment. Misquoting people is almost normal now.
  4. Lmao. What a moronic interpretation. That's why I say that your posts are infantile. OMG. People can start war against you. Do things that make war necessary. But you can't fight back then or you're the guilty party? Dude that's not even remotely related to the sentences above. Are you high? Yeah ok GH. You're 100% wrong about everything else but you were just testing me that time lol. Nations just operate in whatever conditions exist I guess. That's right. It's ridiculous to say "we can buy their oil instead of extracting our own, but we can't sell them weapons. We need to let them buy their weapons from NoKo, Russia or China." Again, you answer is a total non sequitur. It's like you're talking about something else entirely.
  5. Like I said right at the start of this, if everything that you're saying is 100% true, there's a whopping 14% difference. That's from YOUR OWN source. Do you think that anyone in Canada cares about a 14% difference when there are hundreds of billions of dollars at stake? And to be completely honest I don't believe anything from the sources that you are citing. Misinformation about the oil sands is like an economy of it's own. People with an agenda of their own can get "scientists" to go out and do "studies" which come to whatever conclusion they are paid to reach. Just like the tobacco industry did for decades.
  6. Where is "Scientific American's" article on how badly our own studies on carbon from the oil sands are underestimating thins? You posted a link to "phys.org" and some global news and CBC links. I could make site called climatescience.com and it wouldn't really be all that credible, would it? The CBC and Global are crap and they get their talking points directly from CNN.
  7. Do you even have a clue what you're reading? The Rep Congressman just said that the border detention centers are overwhelmed. That's a fact, not an indictment. They're only overwhelmed because of the left's past and current actions/statements. Again, that's a fact, not an accusation. The AP's opinion is politically-motivated and stupid. Hence your appreciation of their quote.
  8. Saudi Arabia has the biggest pocketbooks of any nation on earth. They will get weapons from Canada, China, the US, NoKo, France, GB, Russia, Germany or wherever else. It's completely inevitable. Do you think that you can somehow relegate SA to an eternity of demilitarization when they're sitting on a cash cow? You're partly right when you say "neither are acceptable", but at a time when SA was getting along reasonably well with the rest of the world and they wanted to buy weapons we made a deal that they could buy weapons from us. It happened more than 3 years ago. At what point do you back out of a deal? Do you have proof that the war in Yemen shouldn't be going on? As per part two of that, of course we shouldn't be taking in terrorists but the left is in power right now and that's what they do. It's the ultimate power move in the world of virtue-signalling. You're the one who didn't know that. You could thank me for the clarification of you want. Wrong. You have such an infantile understanding of things. There are hundreds of people all making critical decisions in the theatre of war, in a matter of minutes or even seconds. When the flight profile of an airplane matches the attacking-flight profile of a fighter jet and they don't answer their radio they force people to make tough decisions. In this case, as with almost every recent man-made catastrophe, there was a series of flaws involving human error (did the flight crew really just neglect to listen to their radio in a militarized zone? Is that a thing that pilots sometimes do?) which all conspired to put one person in a position to make a critical decision. It's impossible to stop things like that from happening. One idea that you lefties might want to kick around in your little echo chamber - how do you reconcile the two options of: 1) leaving all of our oil in the ground and getting all the oil we need from the middle east and 2) despising the middle eastern countries so much that we can't sell them weapons..... Do you guys realize that the people on earth with the money get to buy the weapons? Do you realize how much worse off we would be economically if we had left all of our own oil in the ground and imported all of our energy this whole time? We wouldn't be bargaining or debating with other countries, we would be begging. Your talking points are all literally garbage.
  9. You've propagated "alternative facts" and all of your sources suck because you just gobble up everything that you see on CNN. Cry me a river eyeball.
  10. You're full of crap. The inhumanity reported AOC was already debunked. She has no qualms about just lying her face off. CNN will never fact check her. America's response hasn't been "inhumane". You're just playing this crap up to keep up with all of the other vacuous virtue signallers.
  11. So? Is it worse to sell weapons to SA than it is to allow terrorists into our country? Doubt it. Shia and shiite are the same thing. We say shiite, arabs say shia. You mean sunni. Impossible.
  12. Everything you say is disingenuous and biased, or wrong. Iran IS in Yemen, just like Russia was in the Ukraine. Iran did capture a US boat and hold it's sailors hostage. There's no reason to believe that Iran didn't attack the ships in the Gulf. Iran is making threats of war against the US and the destruction of Israel constantly. Flight 655 was a military mishap. Those things are bound to occur in hostile areas during heated exchanges when errors are made ON BOTH SIDES at the same time. The capturing of a US vessel wasn't a mistake. Iran is the world's most hateful, misogynistic, bigoted regime. Only Pakistan comes close. The US made an unholy alliance with SA when the US needed oil from the ME. They had no choice but to try to pick the lesser of the 12 or 20 evils over there. Foresight regarding the ME is that the area is a gigantic shithole and always will be. It should be avoided at all costs.
  13. I've heard that it's not just foreign oil producers that don't like pipelines, rail companies don't like them either. There's a lot of money in shipping oil via rail, and railway co's have big money to throw around.
  14. Canada's CO2 emissions are puny by comparison to other countries. I'm not interested in defending Trudeau's tax grab or hurting our own economy to suit the US or anyone else. You can cite whatever stat you want that was compiled by foreigners with their own agenda, and use their totals to increase our CO2 from 2% to 3% if you want. Our contribution is still puny. And fyi those numbers are based on getting every drop of oil out of the oil sands and we can't get close to that.
  15. That's from your own article. Now we are supposed to stop extracting our oil because it adds 14% more carbon to the atmosphere than US oil? And that's based on their own "stat". No thanks.
  16. I'm abrasive because of all the unsubstantiated crap posts that you put out. SA is officially in Yemen, Iran is supporting the Houthis. That's life. Tell the whole middle east that they're wrong because you know more than all those countries lol. I never raised a question about 9/11. I raised a question about the inhumanities you referred to in your response to a post about the US border detainment camps. Where did you see 9/11 in that post you quoted? Do you follow? The correct answer is no, I don't know why I bother asking. The USA already has nearly unmanageable debt. They don't have the money for healthcare. They can't even build a wall. Who took over a US boat when Obama was POTUS and forced them to pay a ransom? Iran. The CIA train people to kill the bad people there, then the guys they trained say "hey we have weapons let's kill someone else too". Didn't you ever notice people on this site who hate the US because they get involved in the ME turn regularly around and say "the Americans should attack these guys now?" Ten years from now the US will be the bad guys for attacking whoever they attack now. They should let that area go to hell.
  17. Like I said before, but you dodged the point - "no one has witnessed inhumanity at the border". AOC and that other dolt you referred to would have filmed it instead of just paying lip service to it if they saw something worth reporting on. Those two voted against border funding and encouraged people to cross illegally, now they're surprised that there are overcrowded facilities. Guess what eyeball - that's why you should elect politicians that can recognize problems in advance instead of electing politicians who don't even understand the exact same problems with the benefit of hindsight (is it really hindsight if you are oblivious to it? Or should we coin a new term for the Dems - hindsight blindness?). No, I just can't follow along with the infantile politics of the Dems/CNN. Was there a crisis at the border 6 months ago when people were dying in the desert and human traffickers were smuggling in kids ( even Snopes will acknowledge that is happening, and they'll also acknowledge that children were released back into the custody of human traffickers when Obama was POTUS), like the Republicans were saying, or was that just a fake, manufactured crisis like the dems were saying? Did the situation at the border suddenly turn into a crisis when two people died in a river like the Demmies are saying or did they just get on the bandwagon too late? As usual, the Dems are on the wrong side of history. Is it a great idea for Dems to talk about abolishing ICE, giving illegal immigrants free healthcare, free university, allowing them to vote, and make other statements encouraging immigrants to rush the border? Hows that going to work out for them? Is a wall really racist? When did walls become racist? Obviously it was at some point after Obama and Bill Clinton promised to build them.... If the Dems get their way and make life in the USA "free", and open up the border to anyone who wants in, where will all the food come from? Are there enough unicorn burgers for everyone? Who will build all the housing for them? Will those housing projects be sorta ghetto-ish, and not good enough, and will that be racist? Who will pay for the infrastructure required for all that housing? FYI sewer, water, and electricity doesn't just magically appear in front of housing projects. Where will all the water come from? California is a desert, and they are bringing in water from afar just to serve the population they already have. Do you have a plan for that? Does anyone? Who will teach all the new immigrants to speak english so that they can get jobs? Should the US just adopt a second language, and all the costs associated with having courts operating in two official languages? (Do they even need jobs in Demland?) Who is going to pay for all that? It sounds more like a plan to bankrupt the country than a humanitarian issue. If you want to subscribe to the Dems "let them eat cake" theory that's your problem, it just means that you're long on dreams and short on brain cells - it doesn't mean that I have a disorder. If you can turn their plan into "let them eat cake - here's how we're going to pay for it all" then I'm all ears. So let's hear your plan eyeball.
  18. You're out to lunch GH. Iran has talked openly about attacking American ships in the Gulf, they're threatening Israel all the time, they're the founders of the al quds day hate rallies, and it's our allies who are accusing iran of attacking those ships. Who do you think did it and where's your evidence of it? You're the only person I know who's saying Iran didn't do it. What does this have to do with 9/11? Iran isn't officially "in Yemen". They're the ones supporting the rebels there. I didn't even read this it's just the first thing that came up in google search: https://www.reuters.com/article/us-yemen-iran-houthis/exclusive-iran-steps-up-support-for-houthis-in-yemens-war-sources-idUSKBN16S22R There are less than 35 countries on that list GH. Do you have any idea how many countries there are? Like I said, the vast majority of countries don't have universal healthcare. Lol. Such an idiotic comment. Would you rather have a Dem as POTUS? What would be the point of getting a university degree in a country where housing is a right, a job with a living wage is a right, free healthcare is a right, and you get taxed at 90% and up on anything that you make over 200K? Who would go to university for 7 years (or take the risk to start a business and work 70+ hrs a week) just to bring home a little bit more than a grade 9 drop out? What is so bad about Trump GH? Can you name a single way in which the US has gotten worse?
  19. SaudiArabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Sudan, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain are the ones at war with Yemen.
  20. Do you have adhd? The topic was the supposed inhumanity from the guards at the "concentration camps" (lmao) towards the inmates.
  21. How is the US attempting to start a war with Iran? By watching them blow up oil tankers? Get a life. Saudi Arabia is a hair better than Iran because they're not actually blowing up other people's things there. How many nations provide health care for all their people GH? The US has provided lots of money for education. University isn't free in the vast majority of the countries on earth.
  22. Is this assault merely alleged, like the video showing a reporter getting beaten up, or is it an established fact like the "attempted rape of Dr Ford that happened at an undisclosed location during an undisclosed year with no witnesses or police statements"? Just like in the case of Lisa Swetnick, I don't find testimony to be "more believable" when it involves multiple instances of people showing up at parties where there's a strong likelihood of them getting raped, again and again. Was this 13 yr old a big party-goer? Do you know a lot of 13 yr olds who attend a lot of parties? Probably not. Do you know any who would go when they knew that a rapist was likely to be there again and again? You fall for some really dumb shit MH.
  23. What's upsetting you about the US now GH? The burden of proof is on you, the accuser, not on the accused. Make a case against them or you're just another whiny loser with no credibility.
  24. Rather, let's try and understand some very basic concepts about life without a border wall: -there are tens of thousands of encounters between armed border guards and illegal border crossers every month (it's a miracle that there are actually zero instances of unnecessary use of force complaints), -all those people crossing the border require food, shelter, clothing detainment and processing and a lot of them require medical attention and all of that costs money, -the current facilities are operating at several times their capacity, -Democrats have back border funding at every turn, just so that they can politicize all of this, -Republicans said there was a border crisis for months, saying that kids were being smuggled in by human traffickers and that people are dying out in the desert, and Dems called "the crisis" a farce until some people died in a river - now suddenly it's a crisis? LMAO at the politicians who couldn't see a problem in advance, and wouldn't even acknowledge it until there was a glorious photo op. Here's the thing MH. It's incredibly stupid for politicians like AOC and Sanders to say that the border is open, ICE should be abolished, everyone should be guaranteed housing and a 'living wage", university should be free, everyone should get free medical, etc. How can the US possibly function with the kind of mass immigration that they will see if that all came to pass? It's absolute lunacy. The Dems have to know that they're lying, or that they will destroy the country. Add to all that their theory that people should pay 90% and higher taxes on everything that they earn over $200K. It's a recipe for demotivation and economic disaster. How do you even get your kids to go to high school if they're "guaranteed housing and a living wage"? Why would they want to work hard enough to get a job where they earn $400K just so that they can make $30K more than a high school dropout? There's no way that an intelligent, reasonable person would back the Democrats on any of this. It's utterly moronic.
  25. That's right, you haven't. No one has. They just make baseless accusations and spout platitudes.
