  1. That's how a democracy works, eh? People vote for who/what they want, and whoever gets the most votes win.
  2. A summary of serious side effects of Covid vaccine in Canada, including prevalence and age group affected. https://health-infobase.canada.ca/covid-19/vaccine-safety/ Note that this information is available to anyone, which means there is no concerted effort to hide adverse reactions.
  3. 1. Many private companies are requiring a vaccinated workforce: this isn't a "government" requirement so you can't blame the government for that. Companies do not hire or keep just anyone: there are always certain requirements that must be met and maintained - such as a dress code or sobriety. Fail to meet the company requirements, and guess what? No job. 2. Each family can decide if they want to visit with their unvaccinated family members; this is also not a government mandated decision. And who are you to call these families down; do not they have the right to make their own decision, just as much as someone who chooses not to get vaccinated? 3. You would have to ask the companies that are requiring a vaccinated workforce, and the families who have decided to avoid their unvaccinated family members.
  4. Permanently?? Where are you? The only restriction that still remains where I live is wearing a mask, and no dancing if I happen to go out to a club. Next week, our office will be back at capacity. A year ago, I couldn't go to a restaurant, a gym, a movie, events, have family/friends over and my office was deserted. My friend couldn't visit her mother in her care home and now she can. If you are still living under those kinds of restrictions, come to BC; it'll restore your confidence in freedom. I haven't seen any book bonfires; have you? Although today, it'd likely be the destruction of electronic devices, which I also haven't seen. Am using one of those devices right now as a matter of fact - as I assume you are.
  5. @Goddess: You get more ridiculous by the minute. It's a shame that you don't understand the difference between the word "Society" and "I". Or that you haven't clued in that even unvaccinated people have access to health care. I have no idea why you are so angry that people disagree with you. Is it because you take your screen name seriously, and you aren't getting the ass-licking you think you deserve?
  6. Well, that makes sense - it's clear you are terrified, given your hysterical accusations about being treated like the Jews in Nazi Germany, totalitarianism and now that those who merely disagree with you would beat animals to death. That's just stupid thinking.
  7. I'm laughing at you, not with you.
  8. Well that's not me, but whatever. Last word to you, go for it. ?
  9. LOL. I repeat - you've fallen into the black hole of conspiracy theories.
  10. Pot-kettle.
  11. At least I'm not in the 20% minority who refuse vaccines or the 30% minority who DON'T support vaccine mandates, as you are. Haha.
  12. There was a time I would have looked, but now neither you nor your links have any credibility.
  13. Nope. Are you one of those people that assume those who disagree with you would be willing to beat animals to death?
  14. Once people fall into the conspiracy black hole, no amount of common sense or logic can help them.
  15. If it's not true, why would they report it? Re: the VAERs reports: Doctors concluded that after all the reports had been investigated, three people were confirmed to have died as a direct result of the vaccine - from blood clots. Med professionals have never hidden the fact that blood clots are a possible side effect - as a matter of fact they spread the information as soon as they knew. Nor have they hidden the fact that myocarditis may also be a side effect. In the UK, doctors have confirmed 9 deaths from the Covid vaccine. Given that around 49,000,000 (49 million) people have received the vaccine, that's around a 1 in 5,000,000 (5 million) chance of dying. So, explain why both medical professionals and the MSM would report on SOME side effects, and SOME deaths but hide what you are claiming? Do you really suppose the MSM would ignore parents, siblings, spouses, children and friends of all these victims you are claiming - if they showed up with their stories? Can you imagine the ratings of a news organization for exposing this? Can you really believe that they wouldn't jump all over it - if it were true?
  16. My sister, who's up Q'anon's arse so far she's suffering oxygen deprivation, sounds just like you. If any of what you claim were true, there'd be coverage from credible sources. You are an idiot if you think 95% of the world's medical staff, medical experts and politicians are all involved in some kind of plot to vaccinate against a virus that's killed millions around the world.
  17. Prove it with a substantial and credible source. That means mainstream, not some fringe website, organization, doctor or Tweet. How do you expect to be taken seriously with the garbage sources you choose to provide? BTW, you don't seem to care about all the old people who die from Covid: "they were going to die anyway" you say; "they died from co-morbidities, not Covid" you crow. At least the seniors who've died can be proven from authoritative and credible sources, unlike your claim of "scores of young people".
  18. Masking works. Case Study: 340,000 participants in Bangladesh Results: Mask use reduced infection by 9% generally; among older people, by 23%. Type of Masks: Surgical masks were most effective; cloth masks less so, even with 3 layers. Sept. 7, 2021 -- A large, real-world test of face masks in Bangladesh shows that masks reduce community spread of COVID-19. It also shows that surgical masks are more effective than cloth face coverings. One key finding of the study, for example, is that wearing a mask doesn't lead people to abandon social distancing, something public health officials had feared might happen if masks gave people a false sense of security. Compared to villages that didn't mask, those where masks of any type were worn had about 9% fewer symptomatic cases of COVID-19. The finding was statistically significant and was unlikely to have occurred by chance alone. People 50 to 60 years who wore surgical masks were 23% less likely to test positive for COVID compared to their peers who didn't wear masks. For people older than 60, the reduction in risk was greater — 35%. Masks aren't the whole answer, just part of it. But downplaying their effectiveness, while complaining about restrictions and spreading misinformation about vaccines makes Russia and China very happy.
  19. Should I have quizzed my friend about these details in the midst of her grief? What a dumb bunch of questions. If she's satisfied with the conclusions of health care professionals, than so am I. You have no credibility, my friend has plenty. And, I don't have to answer you; I don't even see everything that's posted here. Keep in mind, too, that you regularly hit my ignore list, cause I can only take so much idiocy. Sure you are, evidenced by your immediate attempt to cast doubt on what her health care team determined. Oh yeah, the Blue Grotto is in Kamloops and 60 people did not get sick. Do try harder to provide accurate information.
  20. We still treat high school dropouts, obese people, addicts and smokers, just as we still treat unvaxed Covid sufferers. The consequences for obese people, addicts and smokers are serious illnesses, early death and shunning from the larger society.
  21. What in the world are you on about?? I'm not getting &400K annually.
  22. News story from BC: Mak Parhar, a flat-earther and Covid-denier, died yesterday. He was feeling sick with Covid symptoms, but said it wasn't Covid because Covid doesn't exist. Nonetheless, he took Ivermectin - which begs the question, why would a person who doesn't believe in Covid take a medication that is touted as a cure for Covid? Anyway, his death will be investigated by a coroner to determine if he died from Covid, Ivermectin, or something else entirely. I suppose, in the spirit in which anti-vaxers dismiss the death of seniors "because they're old and were going to die anyway", I could dismiss Parhar's death because "he was clearly an idiot and too stupid to live."
  23. Well, if you ignore all the science and can't see the millions of deaths that have occurred over the last 20 months ... It's not just one example that have resulted in our current situation.
  24. The main problem is the God worshippers who think they owe nothing to the earth cause GOD. As for the rest, planting on clear cuts is not the same as logging in such a manner as to leave trees standing, which can be done, and it's the way nature managed forests for millenia. BC's Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development has a duty to "Stewardship of the Land", which includes ensuring Crown land is managed in such a way that it will benefit citizens now and in the future. Just because you don't believe in climate change has nothing to do with facts.
  25. Yup, she was. Also over 70. Now time for you to ignore the scientific fact that breakthrough infections are a thing.
