Will The Gesundheitspass Actually Be Scrapped?
dialamah replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
1. Kinda dumb to petition against something that's no longer happening. 2. Majority of BC'ers complied with and supported the vaccine requirements, so it wasn't non-compliance that caused the change. -
Will The Gesundheitspass Actually Be Scrapped?

So does compliance: BC scrapped it's passport requirements two weeks ago. -
The Governor Whitmer Kidnapping Hoax

Well, the experience of a close relative, my research and discussions with lawyers says I'm right and you are ignorant. -
Your link doesn't say that. Maybe he won the lottery, invested wisely, inherited a chunk, married well. That his millions came strictly from his job seems unlikely as union leaders make, on average, $145,000.00. that's not enough to accrue 50+ million. Corruption may have played a role: there is a story that he took a payoff of $50,000 to recommend a particular COVID vaccine to union members. Not trying to claim Union leaders aren't overpaid, but making millions is usually reserved to captains of industry.

At least 5 people shot at New York City subway station
dialamah replied to Infidel Dog's topic in News of the Day's Topics
I just read on a Global site that he was a bigot, and posted about targeting certain groups of people. Can't link, it's on my computer and I'm posting from my phone. I guess Black terrorists are taking the lead from White Supremacists. That should make you happy 46 minutes ago, CBC posted that the guy is being charged with terror offence. -

Same in Canada. Scare somebody with the choice between the possibility (presented as likely) of years in jail/financial ruin/family alienation vs plead guilty and get months or even just house arrest, plenty will opt for the security of knowing for sure rather than the insecurity of not knowing. Most convictions are obtained through plea deals, not trials. -

I saw that on NYT site. No indication. So maybe, maybe not. Terrorism requires political motivation so a guy randomly shooting people wouldn't automatically be terrorism. -
Trudeau Gets Slammed At NATO Meeting
dialamah replied to betsy's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
You didn't look at any of the links did you. -
Apparently not. If her work spoke for itself, good or bad, you wouldn't be engaged in slut-shaming.

She must be particularly outstanding if you folks are reduced to this kind of high school BS in your attempt to discredit her.

It's always been "too". Nobody has ever claimed that white men are the only people committing mass shootings - that assumption is only made by white people with fragile egos. Statista 52% of mass shootings are carried out by white men. Deal with it. -
Trudeau Gets Slammed At NATO Meeting

Wrong (again). From wikipedia: A pandemic is an epidemic of an infectious disease that has spread across a large region, for instance multiple continents or worldwide, affecting a substantial number of individuals. Death is not the defining criteria. From WebMD: A pandemic is basically a global epidemic -- an epidemic that spreads to more than one continent," says Dan Epstein, a spokesman for the Pan American Health Organization, a regional office of the World Health Organization. Influenza pandemics have struck about three times every century since the 1500s, or roughly every 10-50 years. There was one in 1957-1958 and one in 1968-1969. The most infamous pandemic flu of the 20th century, however, was that of 1918-1919. Again, deaths are not included as the defining feature of a pandemic. Here, in The Journal of Infectious Diseases, the definition of pandemic is discussed: what does pandemic mean, how is it identified, must it be "new, explosive, severe", etc.? And once again, death is not the defining feature of a pandemic. -

My goodness, you sure are worked up about the fact that white people commit crime, too. -

Yes, a single statement, with no context, explanation, rationalization or even a cite. If it quacks like a duck ... And no racist thinks they are. They're just protecting white people's status and reputation. -

One (1) incident of a black person perpetrating a mass shooting does not disprove stats (2) demonstrating that it's primarily a white guy coping mechanism. (1) More than one black person has actually engaged in mass shootings. (2) Stats may have changed since the last time I looked a few years ago. The assumption that "lying" is happening because a news media or any source doesn't have all the details yet is ridiculous. Also, police are known for lying - it's part of their job. If you're going to misbelieve anyone, it should be them. -

National Post said there were no explosive devices, but devices that created smoke. Maybe police are learning more as they investigate, that's why the different stories. Why is it important to you that the person is black? -
"Eye roll" - you can have the last word though. I know you like that.

CBC and CTV aren't on my reading list. I objected to Quebec's proposal to impose a tax on non-immunized. I thought Trudeau should not have invoked the emergency act. Given my objection for such government action, why would I support such an extreme thing as killing pets? Why would you even accuse anyone of something that horrific? What's the matter with you? Have you no sense of perspective? Seriously, what is the matter with you?
-
1. Repeating yourself doesn't make your "mind reading" claims any more credible. 2. Yeah, you are about as wingnut as they come. Even more so than my (non-Muslim) sister, who believes in star beings saving us all, led by Trump.
-
Such a mind reader you fancy yourself. How many times have your ridiculous claims been debunked; guess that has driven you over some edge.
-
What a shame you don't love Canadians as much.
-
Grow up, you childish wingnut.
-
1. Cite. 2. Antimask Nazis, like you, have been attacking people and business owners since day one - or does your one-sided media not mention that? 3. Cite. BTW, a clue for you - Provinces, not Trudeau, impose mask-wearing, vaccination passports and other restrictions for their Province. You don't like them, call Kenney a dictator/Nazi/whatever.
-
This stuff has been reported in the MSM. Probably not true then, wouldn't you say? Not us, chickadee - most of Canada's restrictions are gone and nobody is clamoring for resumption. There's been no dogs beaten by a health care worker, no cats in green mesh bags, nobody throwing themselves off buildings. If you have a problem with China's policies, take it up with them instead of calling Canadians Nazis. Weren't you moving to the States or something? How's that going?
