  1. These Nazi/White Nationalist groups have always have their rallies, nothing new about that. The problem is that in the last couple years, these people have seen their religion trampled, their flags taken away and now their monuments taken, essentially, their culture is being taken from them. To them General Lee was more than a racist and their confederate flag means more than "oppression of black people". Now, I have no sympathy for the White Nationalist groups to be sure, but I also don't think it's helpful to have radical leftist groups show up with clear intent to riot. Now, the problem is that the media and democrats have decided to give "permission" for violence against the White Nationalist group. The left has pushed too far, too fast and what happened yesterday is the result. Again, I don't agree with any hate group, but I can see how things have escalated, not only yesterday, but at every rally since Trumps presidency. This is not Trumps fault any more than the Scalise shooting was Bernie's fault. If one was to watch the events of the other day without knowing which side held which view, it would obvious that the Antifa group was the aggressor.
  2. What does it matter, most if not all are staying.
  3. I would like to add my opinion on one thing; I don't a moderator should hope for a member's death. It seems a tad bias to me.
  4. Yeah, never had a job Justin is gonna best Donald Trump in a business deal - sure!
  5. I'm not sure you understand how the numbers work. Let's try again; If we wanted 50% red headed cops but only 5% of police candidates had red hair, what do you do? Should we hire every red headed candidate and assume they're better than their brown, black or blond cops? Are we then not discriminating against cops due to hair color?
  6. OK, what if a school board was hiring teachers and they had a 95/5 ratio of female to male candidates and hired 5 male and 5 female teachers, would you agree that the top 10 just happen to be 5 male and 5 female? Seriously? The worst male teacher candidate would have to be better than over 90% of the females! To me, that would defy logic.
  7. Of course it does! Wake up!
  8. If 90-95% of candidates are men, then logic being logic, yes! If you honestly believe that out of 100 candidates (95 male, 5 female) the best 10 just happen to consist of 5 female and 5 male, then you'd be living in some dream world.
  9. I wouldn't want a police force that is taking every single woman and refusing better candidates because of gender - I know that. I want my daughters to be protected by the best police force and officers possible.
  10. So, if there are 100 police applicants for 10 jobs and it's a 95/5 male female ratio, you think that there should be 5 men and 5 women hired? Is that what you're saying?
  11. I don't think race has been brought into this conversation, it's about the gender differences.
  12. Not if it means 50% of female police officers, not if it means 50% of female firefighters either.
  13. Many professions are like that, so it should be obvious. You can't have 50% police because they simply don't apply in equal numbers. In fact, if a police force needs to hire 4 people out of 100 candidates, any women in the group has a much higher chance of being hired than than the man she is up against.
  14. No one is questioning anyone's work ethic, simply suggesting the genders have different wants out of a job.
  15. "And then all of our kids will go to school together, respect each other, and succeed. That's what's working well in Canada. The kids show us how it works. " My first thought was OMG too. It's naive posts like this that are really worrisome. Posts like this should indicate to the leftists just how far down the rabbit hole someone can be lead. The danger is just how easily a weak minded person can be totally and unquestionably indoctrinated. The only thing missing is "muslim kids and white kids sliding down a rainbow hand in hand". Staggering.
  16. Even if the Khadr family does it?
  17. Anyway, I can't remember where it was - i'm sure it was Norway or Sweden. They took away any obstacles that would encourage gender in the workforce and allowed everybody to just "be whatever they wanted to be", what they found was that the gender in employment widened. To their embarrassment, the local progressives tried to come up with the theory that women still chose women jobs because men didn't do their part at home, which of course restricted the women once again. The truth is; women and men are actually different and do tend to choose differing professions no matter what. One could argue that there are many women in traditionally male roles due to pressure to take those jobs.
  18. When it self identifies with any other thing!
  19. Never said I was moral, just said what side I chose. What's the problem with that? If you'd rather side with the muslims, that's your choice.
  20. Just an indifference I suppose.
  21. I haven't said that at all. Why does every discussion come down to Nazis and 911? If I have to choose between Islam, sharia and the middle east or USA, Christianity and western democracy, I will choose the latter - unapologetically.
  22. We all have to pick a side to be on, so yeah, I'm comfortable with the side I've chosen.
  23. HE notwithstanding, I think we can all agree that we benefit from the US military and our proximity to that country.
  24. Even if it was a controlled demolition, wouldn't there still be resistance when they fell?
