Well then, tell me what army he was working for?
-
If he was a Canadian, he surely wasn't in the Canadian army. If he wasn't in the Canadian army, then he's not a solider and shouldn't be the responsability of Canada.
-
So what? Every muslim jihadi is recruited at 10. What if they capture a 25YO, would he still be a child in your books?
-
To be a solider, you have to part of an army. Khadr was not part of an army.
-
Or, He could hide his money in a place where it can be channeled to a terrorist group while he smirks at all the stupid Canadians - either..or!
-
Well, Like Omni and I agreed, Khadr was not a solider of any king, he was/is a terrorist.
-
I won't be a white dude, that's for sure!
-
I heard somewhere that there is evidence of the Democrats colluding with Ukraine during the election. Haven't seen it on CNN yet. Anyone else hear this?
-
Thank you. It wasn't so hard now, was it. He wasn't a solider, therefore not a child solider.
-
Dude, no one is deflecting anything in regards to his age - I think if you read more slowly...and sound out the words, you'll learn that fact. I've simply asked what army he was fighting for, a question that you seem unable to answer. For someone who knows so much about the legal case, surely you know what army this child solider was representing - don't you?
-
You probably never believed in Big Bird's friend Mr. Snuffleupagus either.

Canadian National Anthem Eff up at the MLS ASG again.

It was very cringe worthy. -
I think what you're trying to avoid is the fact that he wasn't part of any army, which negates the fact that he was a solider...now, if he wasn't a solider, then common sense and reason would tell us that he wasn't a child solider. Now, if he wasn't a child solider, then he could be only one of two things...an outright terrorist or a run of the mill murderer.
-
No, the relevant point is "solider". For your sake, I'll use the word child, but the question is; was he a "solider"? If so, for whom?
-
Well, again if he was a child solider, what army?
-
Yes, the court said his rights were violated - we get it. That doesn't change the fact that he's a terrorist - you guy's have said that we have to separate his actions from the way Canada treated the situation. IOW, he is a terrorist who the court said had his rights abused. Please get a new schtick.

Lets sort this out, his entire family are admitted terrorists. Mom and Dad sent him to terrorist school. He is seen on video making bombs, He was caught on a battlefield in Afghanistan with another person (killed) and plenty of spent ammo. He has admitted to killing a US solider and commented that that was the best day of his life. In recent interviews, he nearly fesses up again that he did it. Now, not only does common sense dictate that he's a terrorist, your "gut feeling" should also tell you that he's a terrorist. It's not as complicated as you make it out to be. I'll let you in on a secret, regardless of what a court found...OJ Simpson is a murderer - that's right! My common sense and gut feeling tell me so - a court finding him not guilty, did not complicate my belief. My issue now, is wondering how the school system can fail so many people and render them helpless to use common sense.
-
No, feeling (and flat out denial) are what you people are spewing. Logic and common sense sides with Khadr being a terrorist. A canadian terrorist - sure, a young terrorist - sure, but FFS, just like his mom, dad, brother and sister, he is a terrorist. And, what's more - you women can't "save" him.
-
Good Grief...really? So, you're one of those Liberals that you talked about who don't believe he was a terrorist? Well, tell me then, what was he?
-
Better than "most" third world countries! Well, aren't you generous! The problem with the "preserving our values" comment is that some of us wonder "just what are our values" when Trudeau hangs our military (as well as other people currently held over seas) out to dry, lets Canadians get beheaded and proceeds to kiss ass to a terrorist - Canadian terrorist, yes - but a terrorist none the less.
-
Most city jails leave their lights on. All detainees do is cat nap, they don't even have clocks so you don't know how long you've been asleep - if you do sleep. The only indication you have as to time or day is what the meal you're being served is.
-
IF Khadr wasn't a solider, then he was what? A terrorist, or if you prefer, a murderer A group of what?? Go ahead and say it - Terrorists! He can't be a solider because he's a Canadian citizen, and guess what? He didn't enlist. Now, if he gave up citizenship and joined an army in Afghanistan without our knowledge, then good on him, but if that's the case, he is not Canada's problem.

What I'm saying is that there is nothing wrong and certainly nothing illegal about that meeting. If anything, there is evidence that junior thought the Russia might be helping Hillary. And, why would junior, after the meeting think that Russia was interferring with anything? Indications are, that they went to the meeting to hear something, and realized that there was nothing except a possible a scam. They left it at that and thought nothing more of the issue. I'm sure the Trumps deal with people lying to get a few minutes in the boardroom all the time.
