  1. The whole "I would if I could" is complete bull! You can, but you don't is more like it. Just like everyone who you slag, you do nothing. Maybe you dropped some change into "Syrian refugee" can - so what! I guarantee that most every person who is against illegal immigration on this forum, puts forth more than you do. Stop saying "I would if I could" and patting yourself on the back.
  2. Sure, you get it, you're a smart person. The people actually cheering on the Liberal agenda don't seem to understand that their being exploited by those who would not in a million years side with their policies.
  3. Does it not peak curiosity how a society of people so clearly leaning far-right, will come to Canada and vote Liberal?
  4. You see, as long as you don't recognize being called "racist", "sexist", "homophobe" or "islamophobe" "anti-semite" as insults, but then "troll" is an insult, then I think I've made my point. After seeing your responses as a regular poster, I'm glad you're not moderating!
  5. The economy was a direct influence of the internet, I could've ran a good economy in the late 90's I couldn't give a rats ass where he shoved his stogie. Cons; Relaxed lending criteria that eventually led to the housing crisis (we blame Bush, but it was Clinton) N.Korea nuclear deal Attacking various countries 3 Strikes rule Pros: He was one cool cat when he played his sax.
  6. You see, this is why I've always told you that you personally have a problem recognizing trolls. And, BTW - I've called out trolls on both sides and you've chosen to ban me for flaming. If the mods did their job, I wouldn't get banned...or if they didn't bother such as we saw a few weeks ago, then yes, we could call them out. The fact is; calling them out when the mods are active is just asking for a suspension. I've pleaded with you to talk to a few members, and you've flat out done nothing - where does that leave us? It's like in sports, the agitator always gets away, while the retaliation is punished. This mentality has been ruining hockey for years.
  7. This place has never actually dealt with trolls. It's, as I've suggested privately to Charles and MH, probably why membership is so small. In the last year or so, I've seen troll posts from some of the mods even. You can say, "ignore it and move on", but when you start seeing post after post from somebody who clearly should be institutionalized of has an IQ under 60, eventually, you just start ignoring everything until you just ignore the thread altogether. I'll agree that everyone has their schtick, but there are some posters who actually post 1000's of times and yet never once add anything, challenge anything or even bring a personal perspective. It's tiring to see someone write a thoughtful (from either side) post and show the opposing side to an issue only to be met with the "big 4" conversation killers, you're a racist, islamaphobe, homophobe and misogynist. I wonder what a person would write if they couldn't use those 4 insults in the rebuttal?
  8. Quebec has tried so hard to keep their french culture and not allow english people, now those same people can't throw it away fast enough on immigration.   Bravo!

  9. Birth rates are all you need to know to predict the future of Canada.
  10. What a stupid comment. Do you really have to spiel the same crap post after post regardless of what is actually said?
  11. I think Bill Clinton is the worst president of at least my lifetime.
  12. So, when Trump was backing down NK, the entire MSM were talking about how Trump better not challenge NK and how dangerous his rhetoric was. Now that NK backs down..."oh it was no big deal", "that's just Kim being Kim", "It was the diplomats, not Trump" and "NK isn't so bad". You people are just as disingenuous as CNN and MSNBC.
  13. Well, isn't anything right of center considered racist/Nazi to Antifa and BLM?
  14. I think what the takeaway for today should be is this; the "Nazi"/"White Nationalist" movement is quite small and insignificant. There were probably more transgenders in Boston than Nazi's today. Had Antifa and BLM not showed up, it would've went away in about 20 minutes without spending $100,000's of taxpayer money and multiple arrests of left wing protesters.
  15. That's pretty weak.
  16. Because it's deeper than that, because anyone with an IQ over 60 knows it can't and won't end there.
  17. Do you think that changing schools to "Rosa Parks Elementary" or "MLK High" with satisfy the BLM group?
  18. 1) Schools don't glorify slavery, neither does history 2) No, give more context to the situation on the plaques 3) I don't think it bothered them, until they were told to be bothered. As I said, keeping the issue alive, keeps people from repeating it. BTW, How about all the schools and monuments to Democratic racists like Byrd or Wallace? I never thought of you as a "thinker" per se', but just once, have a look at the big picture.
  19. We all know history! We all know that the Vikings brutalized the English, that the English brutalized the Irish and Scots, and the English Americans enslaved Africans. We know many things about history and it's up to those involved to move on...or not! I'm pretty sure that US history does not glorify slavery and if there is some sensativity to monuments, maybe it's up to the parties involved to rewrite a more accurate account on those monuments or statues, maybe erect some of the people who fought against it. People both black and white are better served to have those statues in place as a reminder of the past. There is a solution that doesn't require teenage marxists tearing down statues and trying to hide the truth.
  20. A threat in what way? Physical...or political?
  21. That's because you're not too bright.
  22. History is full of good and bad, not one single country has a good and inclusive history. Our history has brought us to this point and people, BLM, WN's and Antifa and all the other groups can take history any direction they like. People can learn from mistakes of history, or they can make things worse. These groups are all making the worst of the situation.
  23. I actually can't believe CNN has run this feature, but this is a small look at ANTIFA.
