  1. When I was a kid we used to play this game where you walked up and touched someone and said, “You’ve got the cooties.” Then they would have to do likewise. Apparently you could only get rid of the cooties by giving them to someone else, but you could also get them back again. All it takes, is one touch from an infected person.

Then one time I had the cooties. I saw a girl walking by, and touched her and said “You’ve got the cooties.” Then she turned to me and said, “No, I got my cootie vaccination!” She raised her hand, and it had the letters CV written on it.

I kid you not. And these people are in charge, now.

  2. It’s the old covid-19 trick “combine multiple days into one” to create a scary spike in data at an opportune moment. This time they’ve been called on it.

Vaccination has been a requirement for travel for decades. You only became interested once you started advocating for the spread of covid.

Smart people who concern themselves with these things do not agree it is simple as that.

      Not my opinion, not yours.

They don't agree that it's simple, or they don't agree that it's a requirement?

Your lack of literacy makes it difficult to figure out what you're trying to say. No matter though. It's never been worth figuring out yet.

      Troll it is then.

Very well. I'll be counter- troll.

You're lying, as trolls are prone to do. Nobody in this conversation or any other I've been a part of ever said the virus was fake. That was the original claim and you're lying about it. Nobody ever claimed that. The quote you have no more says anything about a "fake" virus than it does water isn't wet. Claiming it does is just a lying troll.

You can pretend you're too slow to know that but I'm going to pay you the compliment of telling you I don't believe it. You're lying or you're nuts. Choose the one you're more comfortable with.

  5. Terrorists and anarchists who want our society to fail love Covid-19. We are vulnerable to manipulation by malevolent forces because of our reactionary approach to managing the virus.

All it takes to shut our society down, any society, is to cause an outbreak of covid to appear in the region. And that is certainly an easy thing to do.

Therefore the whole approach to managing covid-19 is a security risk.

  7. Logic behind the vaccine seems circular to me. Let’s step back a bit.

    - Majority of people survive covid, but they are still vectors or carriers that might transmit to others who are weaker.

    - The vaccines reduce level of illness for the individual, but they are still possible vectors.

So vaccine is helpful, but don’t see why they should be mandatory, or why a vaccine passport is needed.

Vaccinate the sick and elderly, and anyone who wants it.

    Leave others the heck alone!

It seems we are all vectors for the virus whether vaccinated or not. The majority of people are silent carriers showing little or no symptoms, and this is without the vaccine.

We are told we will still need masks even with the  vaccine. So it seems that the vaccine reduces the severity of illness for the individual, but transmission still occurs.

Given these facts I dont see how making the vaccine mandatory by the use of certificates is justified.

I read Macron has implemented the requirement to carry a vaccine certificate nation-wide, necessary to do pretty much anything. Technically not mandatory unless you want to go to school, work, see a show or buy groceries. Big protests against it in France.

This is being implemented in a few other countries, and some Canadian provinces are planning for this as well.

Actually I'm a law and order type of guy. Fair is fair. Bill Cosby may have committed these crimes, but the state fucked up. Wherever the state fucks up, it must be brought to bear.

Otherwise you end up with people getting convicted for crimes and given heavy penalties, where they had no chance to defend themselves. Then you are guilty before even taking a step in court.

I'm also against any individual being used "to make an example".

Not really. Unless the woman wants to be drugged and raped, too.

Do I believe Bill Cosby? Not sure. But none of Fat Albert and the gang would have done that. Not even mushmouth...

The court of public opinion and the rise of #metoo movement played a role in his conviction. He was already guilty before he entered a courtroom.

I am not judging that, but the final outcome says the court of public opinion may have led to this man's incarceration.

Or like Popeye would say, sounds kinda dangerisk to me...
