So they are quite safe then, since they're well below the 250. All those very low numbers you're concerned about, they are limits to keep your dose as low as reasonably achievable. They are the result of years of leftist obsession with increasingly harsher safety regulations. In a way Fukushima has been helpful in showing how comparatively safe nuclear power is.

I've heard that radiation is not harmful, below the deterministic threshold of 250 mSv

I have another useless suggestion. How about all users can vote on the features they'd like, and the Admin guy can spend hundreds of hours programming them. It's a great idea -
I dunno, you brought in Donald Trump kinda threw me there.

" Never Again Canada is an Organization dedicated to fighting anti semitism, Propaganda, Terror and Jew hatred In Canada. One of our strategies is not allowing history to repeat itself by standing up to Terrorism, Jew hatred, anti semitism, lies and propaganda that are being spread around the world about the Jews and Israel. Hatred is like cancer, the more you leave it untreated by ignoring it, the worse it gets, and survival rates drop. The earlier cancer is identified, and removed, the higher the survival rate and the better chances one has in surviving it. The only effective way to fight anti semitism and islamic terror is to first Identify it, then challenge it, confront it and then remove it as early as possible for best survival rates and results. " - So there is a Jewish connection. I think we have closed the loop on this one. To me the implications are pretty interesting. What's even more interesting is our governments one-track minded singular vision to track and monitor incidents involving possible islamophobia, while these people are PREACHING about killing Jews and slitting the throats of "Polytheists" (us). Sorry Dialamah, I don't want to hurt your feelings but it sounds like those are some bad guys in there.

Really? How many muslims have his people beheaded?

Did anyone figure out who the group is, and why they call themselves "Never Again Canada"? Just curious. I want to find out all the information before I vote in the poll.

I know what the OP was asking. My point is I don't think the OP knew what they were asking. It's a more difficult question now, isn't it? Yes, agreed there should be lots of investigations. This was just one Mosque we've never heard of, part of a branch or franchise of some sort. But the question is, is their "brand" of Islam unique? Or is this happening everywhere? This is right in the heart of Toronto, where the mayor felt compelled to say something. I wonder how he feels about this little factoid. Or, maybe he already knew they have hate speech like this all the time, because that's what it is, without need for debate.

America under President Trump
OftenWrong replied to betsy's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Today Mike Pence met with Donald Task of the EU, and heartily confirmed that America under President Trump will be a strong supporter of NATO. Not the same old NATO. But a new NATO. Trump is setting a requirement for other NATO countries to up their military dollar value contribution to NATO operations. Makes sense. America under President Trump should not have to pay the most when it comes to the security of others. As the administrator once told me when I made a request, "In this time of fiscal restraint..." he was a brilliant man. The significance of this should not be understated, if you consider the implications (and I do). A stronger NATO is no friend of president Putin, after all. Lefties, are you reading this? -
The story of the Mosque is not yet over, as the mosque issued a public apology for making highly offensive "supplications against the Jews". This was released on their web page. " It has come to our attention that an inappropriate supplication that was offensive to those of Jewish faith, was made in our downtown mosque, Masjid Toronto. Such language is unacceptable and against the values and practices of the Muslim Association of Canada (MAC), Masjid Toronto and the Muslim Community at large. Masjid Toronto condemns all forms of hate and racism towards any faith group or others and is committed to offering a safe spiritual space for all congregants. " Posted February 20th, 2017 http://www.masjidtoronto.com/masjid-toronto-condemns-all-forms-of-hate/ Was the OP asking in this poll whether the protestors were conducting hate speech in their protest against Motion 103, or whether the Imams conducted hate speech in issuing their supplicants, a message broadcasted routinely to Toronto muslims, right under the very noses of Canadian citizens?

Also given that, no catholics were involved in the terrorism on 9/11. The muslim terrorists proclaim their acts are done in the name of their god. To be very concise, culture is the problem. Not a religion, not a country necessarily, and not the colour of someone's skin. If enlightened muslims worhip their god by minding their own business, the problem would be solved. But a cabal of fundamentalists have gotten hold of the media to spread their hateful message, conveyed through the vehicle of Islam and their most cynical, barbaric interpretation. Once we identify a problem in some particular culture, it's all to easy to lump in anyone who looks like that as part of it. Most people don't have time or inclination to investigate the subtleties of ISIS or Al Qaeda. They just say "Look, there's a Muslim. Get em!"
-
It is indeed, far far more complicated than that. As to solving, it would be great if we could solve anything at all in a discussion forum. At the very least, we do learn many facts from one another which helps to shape our opinions. I enjoy that part of forum discussion the most, uncovering facts that are not evident through splashy headlines/ slogans/ soundbites. One thing you are not involved in as a moderator is the relationship between two posters who hold strongly differing views, and the back-and-forth dialogue, rhetorical, teasing and a kind of rapport that ensues. It is off-topic, just a reminder!

I know, but we are far beyond that point. The effect in my case is to demonstrate how easy it is for some on the left, who claim to be the vanguard of women's rights to dismiss these repeat offenses, because they don't fit the narrative. People coming from a land where they maintain what we call Barbaric Cultural Practices have difficulty integrating into our liberal society. Since they don't have to undergo any special training, they are released into society in large numbers. They form groups with others of their kind since that is the only kind of person they can relate to. It doesn't take much cranial power to connect the dots, unless of course you refuse to acknowledge it.

America under President Trump

Americans chose Trump fairly, democratically an legally. He resonated with their will, his message is the one they were waiting for. You have put the cart before the horse. -

This shows why "the will of the people" is not always upheld as paramount. People's opinions can be easily swayed and mislead through propaganda campaigns. Leftists have been very effective with their propaganda campaigns since the 1960's, when the communist international infiltrated western media and brainwashed young people with drugs and hippie songs. They used a simple formula, sex, drugs and rock and roll to captivate naive youth. President Trump represents the will of more traditional Americans, people with families, with two parents of different gender. They are the real backbone of society, without which we descend into madness. -

Trump is the ultimate mass media manipulator, forcing American news outlets into Obsessive Compulsive Trump Discussion Syndrome. Canadian media follows suit, of course, as this forum demonstrates. Just flip on the news- their mouths yapping, their tongues incessantly wagging, uttering the word that fills their thought every moment... Trump... Trump... Trump... They don`t even need to say much else, just say `Donald Trump`` and everyone stops to listen. https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?q=Trump The map shows the trends in America, as well as other countries. -
Or they could be applauded for speaking out for what they believe, without committing a crime.

No they don't care, they have been emasculated by leftist social policies. It begins at a young age. The child is "protected" from ideas that are contrary to the leftist agenda. Things like healthy competition, the idea that one person can be better than others at something. Let alone the idea that one culture is superior to another by reason of its core values. But in leftism all things are considered equal. The result is a person who is completely fragile. It doesn't take much to frighten them if they encounter a problem. Rather than fight back, they run away.

Trump is changing the direction of America. That's hardly "all about the show". Do you think Trump will accomplish nothing? Just sit back and watch. Check out that list, that is only in a few weeks. No more pervs allowed in the ladies washroom,,, I like that one. What you see is only the beginning. While liberals banter on about how Trump is a vile, poisonous monster, the Commander in Chief has been a busy fella. -

Despite endless leftist whining, Donald Trump has had a great 1st month in the presidency. Here are just a few of his accomplishments: - Put a freeze on all federal hiring outside of the Military. - Pulled support for the Obama Drive to force women to allow men in their bathrooms. - Ordered federal agencies to cut two regulations for every new one they propose. - Issued an executive order asking the DOJ And Homeland Security to withhold “Federal Funds, Except As Mandated By Law” from Sanctuary Cities. - Approved the Dakota Access Pipeline and the Keystone Pipeline. - Killed the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal. - Ordered construction of the Border Wall. -
You misunderstand, the point is not did he go off any prescribed medication before he went on his rampage. The point is, could he do it again if he goes off. Not trying to get you all worked up now, stay calm, stay calm. Inhale... exhale... no one hates you, because you're good enough, and smart enough...

On the contrary, sir, I do have a point to make and it is that the person may not have willfully committed a crime, they could still represent a threat to society. I'm not saying he's guilty of murder, but that he might still be dangerous. Sure, lot's of scitzophrenics have plenty of problems, but they don't go slicing people's heads off just because they're not taking their medication. If he moved into my neighbourhood I know many people would feel uncomfortable. Like those with little kids, for example. At the very least, they could mandate some kind of oversight on his use of medication. If that's not good enough, He should be lobotomized. That would work for me.

We have alternative news too. Does that help? -
Forget the medication in a case like this, when a person demonstrates the capability of committing such violence. He can't be trusted to take his medication, his judgement is impaired for cryin out loud. A "frontal lobotomy" should be applied in such extreme cases. Then the individual is no longer a harm to society, or themselves.
