  1. Yep, and nor does it even matter if they do protest. He is the POTUS. His power is practically absolute. Whatever he says WILL be done immediately, and no amount of whining by unwashed leftists is going to change it.
  2. I understand what he meant. Those structures have not gone away, will not go away just because they making goods for the west. The economic and cultural divide remains. Behold.
  3. Wouldn't know. But they ARE better, in one way.
  4. It's a nice idea but it's been tried. Seem to recall every time Canada sends a government rep to discuss trade with China, there's pressure by some groups here for the Canadians to talk about human rights. But they are too scared to mention it in any serious way. Probably because the Chinese have the upper hand now. They don't need to listen to us. If we don't like it, too bad. As someone once said, economics trumps virtue. All that's gonna change now that WE got the Trump on our side.
  5. As in I'll nail his lips to a tree
  6. The game has been rigged against us for some time now. Trump presents the notion that he will not only create fairness, but give the US an advantage. This is what gives him the greatest appeal among the right, and most hatred by self-loathing leftists who cannot stomach the notion that we should have an advantage. It feeds to their guilt complex. (Put shovel down... )
  7. That is simply not going to happen, as much as you'd like it to. Hence, reality dictates that some hard choices have to be made. Not typically the domain of bleeding heart liberals. If you don't have the stomach for it, step aside, let Trump do his work.
  8. So you are pleased that these changes have finally come. You agree with Donald Trump.
  9. Production engineers are hired to lower the cost of producing goods. This in turn lowers the quality. Refer to economics 101. Globalization allowed big corporations to manufacture goods elsewhere, without penalty so that they could take advantage of production in third world countries. Maybe your Mexican pants were made by a child. "Statistics show 2.5 million children are working in Mexico, with 870,000 below the age of 13." Link What we've seen is that the economy in those lands has grown, while ours has shrunk so the wealth moved around the globe. Like it or not we are already on the road to making ten cents per hour unless we do something. And look at our cities. Job loss, technology loss, infrastructure loss. That is why it makes sense to invest in the local economy. There is no quick fix.
  10. - The subject was Trump stopping people coming to the west in large numbers, under the guise of "refugee" of the Syrian war. - I work hard and pay my taxes. Like many Canadians I put in a full day every day, at a good paying job and have little to show for it. Others are less fortunate, many give up on go on the welfare dole. That is the trend and the future that leftism brings for our country. - I'm pretty good with a longbow. Ever seen "Killing Season"?
  11. You see how ill we've become. Economically we are near death. If certain protections had been put in place long ago we wouldn't be here now. But now, so late in the game our options to fix this are highly limited. It's like cancer, the longer you let it go the worse it gets, and the more radical the treatment that is needed.
  12. Not quite... we don't want the same thing here. We want good stuff. All that cheap crap is done in like, a year. Poor quality components. It's like buying a 2 dollar pair of headphones, what do you think's gonna happen? The damn wire's so thin,it breaks after a short while, just by normal use. Then off it goes to the landfill, chinese toxic waste. Can you call that good? I'd certainly rather pay more for electronics that lasts, and employed white man. (I really mean westerner, but if you're pc, you hate me and you're panties are now wedged high up your ass).
  13. What's changed: - Terrorists made a move to displace millions, knowing that reactionary western leftists would open their doors and bring them right into their own lands. They don't need to invade us, we will let them come willingly. By this they want to use our own liberal attitudes against us. - My wallet's empty. Lefties are inherently conflicted, thus more violent.
  14. Exactly. "Winner, winner, chicken dinner..."
  15. Explain what this means?
  16. Probably. But I'm ok with it if they last 3 times longer.
  17. I seem to have heard that Trump plans to increase US oil production, and possibly get out from under the yoke of OPEC. Yeah, that's right. Only took a second to find on Google Donald Trump has put OPEC on notice Another advantage that Trump has no political past, no ties to any Saudi love fest and is a radical thinking business man. Part of the "Drain the Swamp" meme.
  18. You know those guys are just dying to get over here, some how some way. They want to infiltrate the refugee list so bad... Or at least get some of those who do qualify to eventually "turn" on us. Little Habib is only 5 years old now, but when he grows up... he might do anything. He wasn't raised in no Christian household, if you know what I mean. Forgiveness, tolerance are not virtues in Islam. They bring the culture here, as you can see by what's going on in Germany. The concept of multiculturalism is a failure, because some cultures are simply toxic to the values we uphold in the west. The Brits are waking up to reality.
  19. I hope they won't be forgotten. I doubt that Trump would want to forget them. One possibility is that there has been a close relationship between former US administrations and the Saudi kingdom. Big money, etc. so there may be pressure from within Washington not to list them. We shall see if the President has the strength to do what's right. Call a spade, a spade.
  20. I know! I keep thinking the same thing. It's like we're in an alternate reality somehow. Anyway I only raised those points about humanitarianism so that anyone on the left who sees this move as a bad thing will come to the realization you just did.
  21. I know but that's where the list of 7 countries comes from right now. The article goes on to say that Trump has ordered an immediate review of countries to be added to the ban list. Presumably since this 2016 law provides a framework for the President to enact an executive order immediately and legally, without delay. Stay tuned, more to follow!
  22. Those goods are made under practically criminal circumstances, including no environmental regs, and even use of slavery. With that they can flood the western market, thanks to various trade agreements, to sell you a pair of pants for $20. Thanks to Donald Trump, and Trump alone, this is coming to an end. That doesn't mean your wages will be $0.10 per hour. You can bet it will take some time to fix decades of damage done by these trade agreements with third world countries. Once upon a time in the west, we made our own pants for $20 and didn't need to use child labourers working in a hell-hole. Even those people will benefit from the change that needs to be done, in the long term.
  23. Those countries were named in a 2016 law concerning immigration visas as "countries of concern." More countries will likely be added. http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/27/politics/donald-trump-refugees-executive-order/ Blame Obama.
  24. So true. But but but... white priviledge
