  1. The ones who are loud angry yappers need to be shut down. The ones who mind their own business, shouldn't be a problem for anyone. This goes for all people, muslim, jew, or otherwise good.
  2. Being perfect is an concept that cannot exist for any length of time. I might be, for one thousandth of a second. Whoops, there it goes. Now I am often wrong.
  3. Imagine the forces involved when those structures came down. All that material rubbing and grind together. It's like dancing in the mosh pit.
  4. Have you noticed how a blacksmith heats a metal until it glows at a certain colour, then they can easily pound it into any shape with their tools.
  5. What turmoil? Things are relatively quiet at the moment. All the terrorist stuff is just hype. Don't be fooled by media outlets screaming about how bad things are. Sure a few thousand people killed here and there is not nice, but it is nothing, totally nothing compared to all out warfare. Now if N Korea were to make a stupid aggressive move, watch out. Then you might see some real turmoil. For now, all's well. Enjoy your comfortable living taken at the expense of others.
  6. Is it wrong to try and do things legally?
  7. Sure it is. What you might call evil others call absolutely necessary, without moral judgement. If a president neglects his duty to protect a country's borders, the next one has much difficult choices to make. Real evil would be a dereliction of that duty, in lieu of promoting misguided "fairness"... "equality" at any cost.
  8. Evil is subjective. One man's evil is another man's necessary means to an end. Authorities have the right to question anybody, even a celebrity. Just because they're rich or well-known doesn't mean they are above the law. Besides, they answered the questions politely and after a short time were allowed to go on their way. No harm was done.
  9. Not usually in groups of 200 or more, no. That you doubt they were all muslim is mere speculation on your part to try and cover up the facts. Here's the link from your article, Leaked document says 2,000 men allegedly assaulted 1,200 German women on New Year’s Eve The article indicates that officials tried to cover up the facts, same as you are doing here. But with so many incidents going on, they could not hide it anymore. You know, things have gotten so bad they had to take action to stop the assaults at public swimming pools, because of the amount of women getting groped by muslim refugee men. Thanks to the denial by politicans of the same stripe as Angela Merkel, and their ignorant supporters you will see the rise of the right wing demagogue in Europe.
  10. I don't really know...
  11. We all have rules and we all break them.
  12. It's a nice point. I would like to think that if my local pastor said some nasty things, people would raise complaints to have it stopped. Not keep attending.
  13. Sounds like Canada is the "Wild Wild West" of Islam?
  14. Nonsense. Just saying people who wear big hats, usually do so for a reason.
  15. In my new, enlightened company, employees are given their tasks and work to do, under a set of rules. Those who break the rules are noticed by the boss and manager. But they are not dismissed. We try to keep the employee engaged in the work in a constructive way. The manager understands how different some people can be,but they are not to be condemned. If they can make a few corrections, the employee can find a way to fit in. The employee can be saved. The boss won't mind this.
  16. There are many forms of Christianity. It's based on how certain groups interpret a particular part of the scripture. These arguments go back for centuries, and give rise to different sects. You got your Catholics, Protestants. You've got Anglicans, Lutherans, Presbyterians etc. It should be noted, there are "extremist" Christians, groups who have departed from orthodoxy and have their own interpretation of Christianity. Often it too is more harsh, by that I mean punishing when someone leaves the company, than what we might call "modern" Christianity. It can include a rejection of modern technology like use of electricity, computers, modern cultural music. However they are not interested in cutting people's heads off, not yet anyway.
  17. Its not me who should shut up, but the foul mouthed imams. They have no place in civil society.
  18. Here's what I think - they portray themselves as being from an older, harsher interpretation of Islam. They strictly follow the holy text word for word, and administer terrible punishment to those who fail to live up to their standard. They are against modernization and seek to block western influences. I think Turkey is probably among the most modernized middle eastern countries. Other countries are "primitive", which the big fellas with the hats like to keep it that way. I mean, yer Ayalollahs and what not.
  19. You mean they are not muslims. I do get your point.
  20. I completely agree! It's much better if you tell us about Islam.
  21. In our dialogue, I would identify "extreme" or "moderate" along broad, simple lines. - Those who mind their own business (moderate) - Those who don't... (extreme) We in Canada use these terms to differentiate the kind of people who are welcome to come to our country, vs the kind we don't want!
  22. Sounds good.
  23. I could answer that, but instead I must point out again, this is an odd question. I doubt that you understand the rationale behind the proposed travel ban, or why people support it. It was already US policy under Obama to restrict and target people who were in Iraq, Syria, Iran, and Sudan, at any time on or after March 1, 2011. The decision is made based purely on the country. Thus, all people living in those countries were automatically targeted. I trust this does not create a sensation of abject horror in you.
  24. Never heard of it. Since when are rumours "what's going on"? That must be a leftist concept. Besides, Duterte and Trump would probably get along quite well. Duterte is outspoken, tough on crime, and even called Obama a "Son of a Bitch". Link http://www.philstar.com/headlines/2017/02/04/1668947/philippines-not-covered-trump-travel-ban Perhaps one should follow real news more, and rumours... less?
