  1. There is something weird going on with the postings. I have had to repeat posts that included quotes because they disappeared after I posted them and when I edit an existing post, it duplicates it. Not sure if it's an iPhone issue or not.
  2. I was pointing out how wrong you were to insinuate only Muslims are indoctrinated into murderous cults.
  3. double post
  4. I'm merely addressing the point Argus was trying to make was that only Muslims are indoctrinated into murderous cults which is blatantly wrong.
  5. I agree. I grew up in close proximity to Lake Erie and spent many summers on the Great Lakes. It would definitely be an eyesore but if they can be located so they are just a spec on the horizon from the water then why not. It sounds like there is a lot of high quality consistent wind from these lakes, although not sure how they would handle the Ontario winters so close to the lakes.
  6. Some other highlights of changes:
  7. A few disillusioned people have killed many all in the name of their cult.
  8. The point is that disillusioned people fall into sick cults/organizations including ISIS, Solar Temple etc. It doesn't matter whether it was 40 years ago or 5 years ago, or yesterday. Disillusioned people will always exist and will always be vulnerable for indoctrination.
  9. The 60's? I think not. Order of the Solar Temple, David Koresh - 90's Movement for the Restoration of the Ten Commandments of God, Uganda - Year 2000
  10. I don't suppose you have heard of: Charles Manson and his followers: Murdered up to 35 people, some which were never dismissed because of lack of evidence Jim Jones and his followers: 918 members died including parents who forced their children to drink the deadly koolaid David Koresh and his followers: 76 members died including children who weren't allowed to flee the burning building Order of the Solar Temple and it's followers: Several dozen members murdered or died by suicide
  11. The OP is about imprisonment of black Americans. Start a new thread about Canadians if you want.
  12. Judging by the information I'm reading from Americans, many Canadians are far more informed on the socio-economic conditions of the black Americans. And I would compare it to the Native Canadians.
  13. You probably won't get a lot of responses because you are asking for non partisan feedback. Basically that's how this forum is driven. What I mean is, this is a partisan forum.
  14. I can provide plenty of links that explain the living conditions of these camps. Do I really need to?
  15. I have no problem welcoming refugees from other parts of the world.
  16. You seem to be lumping all refugees into one group of economic migrants. Syrian refugees are fleeing with their families for their lives. They have nothing to go back home to. It will take decades to rebuild their communities. And has been mentioned umpteen times, camps are overflowing and European countries are closing their borders. In the meantime, a generation of children will potentially grow up without an education further exacerbating the potential for refugees to become radicalized.
  17. This is clearly a partisan statement and adds absolutely no value to his question.
  18. If that's true, why wouldn't a member be banned for threatening to report a poster to the RCMP based on his unfounded beliefs?
  19. I recall when this whole case was going down as I had just recently moved out of the area a few months prior. I lived a few blocks away from the legislative building and was very disturbed by it. I don't agree agree with the entrapment but I'm wondering how this couple even came on their radar. Anyone know? Also, I don't suppose these two were Syrian refugees were they?
  20. .You haven't indicated to me why we should deny Syrian refugees a helping hand?
