  1. Not surprised with this response.
  2. I think it started with the condemnation of refugees entering Canada and committing sex crimes while at the same time Canadian men travel abroad to obtain sex with underage children.
  3. Do you actually think the very people you are targeting with this rhetoric would even contemplate this post? And since they/we most likely wouldn't, what is the point of this post? I can guarantee the response is most likely laughter.
  4. Many women swimming laps in a pool would feel very uncomfortable to have men 'looking' or 'leering' while they are working out. While it's not illegal, the facilities have the right to ban individuals if they are not being respectful to women but certainly not the entire population of male asylum seekers.
  5. They aren't banning all men in general, just asylum seekers.
  6. Banishing ALL male asylum seekers is ok with you?
  7. I'm a little late posting here on Bowie. He has produced such fabulous music but my favourite album would have to be Ziggy Stardust. I was lucky enough to see him live in Vancouver. Annie Lennox opened for him. I brought my daughter with me. Bowie gained a new fan that day. Enjoy the programs on much music! RIP Bowie.
  8. Who is going to pay for their transit to head down to the library? Looking for work is a full time job in itself. That would involve checking emails, job boards everyday. To get around that, having a laptop at home would be beneficial but I suppose that would be considered a luxury too.
  9. Bad behaviour should not be condoned in any public place. It would make more sense to ban those individuals and not all refugees. Refugees aren't going away anytime soon so wouldn't it make more sense to handle this in a way that would encourage respectable behaviour. It makes no sense to punish all refugees because of a few. It sends a terrible message and will only further encourage feelings of isolation and degradation among the innocent refugees.
  10. I find this post BS. Simply because of the posts you allow from rue and that formula guy. Those guys ramble on and on and you do nothing to curb their posts. It's weird to me. What's the difference?
  11. We have endless statistics of white men raping underage girls and boys in Cuba, etc. It's sickening that we have to draw out these statistics and compare them to ME men. Where does it end and where does it begin that we can help these victims.
  12. I am speaking as a parent of the kids of which racial profiling and attacks that are taking place in the lower mainland of bc.
  13. No I get that. It seems silly. But hear me out When suspects are described as brown, all allusions of innocence are suspended.
  14. Why does descriptive information need to be provided?
  15. I'm short so I don't stand a chance.
  16. So this is where it breaks down. You are deferring to old practices. We are in a new Age of policing. This includes weapons and racial profiling. A broader discussion needs to take place. I have white children and some of them are partnered with non white individuals. I don't trust the practice of today's police and security system against the members of my family.
  17. Ah ok. So you suspend your critical thinking to the cops.
  18. ⛹Game of basketball?
  19. How do you know there was a threat?
  20. There was no real threat to make them public.
  21. I don't get your response?
  22. You sound as white as a powder white baby's bottom.
  23. So, you have no problem with the Vancouver sun publisiZing those photos?
  24. And as a white person, you speak for non whites?
