Really? How do you suppose the non white people feel in Vancouver?My friends, relatives and colleagues who are brown now hesitate to take pics in public. Are you ok with that?

I see no difference from his/her posts than from Rue's or the formula guy. And not many posters respond to those either so where do you draw the line with 'promoting discussion' and banning posters and/or threads.

Let's hope they identify themselves soon and draw attention to this. My son in law is an estimator and is constantly out and about taking pics. Of course he doesn't get his pic slapped across the pages of the Vancouver Sun because he's white. Shame on the Vancouver sun.

A picture tells a thousand words. I would rather view a graph than read a rambling post that goes on and on and on.....

I do have an issue with the status updates. Many of the status updates have over 15 responses. Why don't the originators of these SU start a thread? Do they not have the self confidence to carry forward a thread so they revert to a weak SU?

We have lost track of the OP. Islamophobia in Canada. Can we get back to that? We have seen many depressing segments of children starving and child soldiers being used for suicide bombs. Let's not forget that we need to help these people. Children are being fed water and spices, they are forced to view unimaginable atrocities. Before we get bogged down in the quaran, or whatever the hell is being translated, lets instead focus on the humanitarian efforts that are so desperately needed. This thread is meaningless in the big scheme of things.

Because female moderators/facilitators are a minority and they are a necessity to provide balance at any forum.

We can provide educational environments, this will lead to a decrease in poverty and addiction.

You don't know anything about me so how could you be surprised.

If a female is going to take on the responsibility of a facilitator, that should include consideration of other female posters, whether or not they are active. A facilitator needs to rise above the impulse to obtain approval from other members. They have the added responsibility 'especially female facilitators' to address issues that female posters come across time and again in forums. Certainly, these issues won't be addressed by male facilitators like they should be by female facilitators.

Not sure why you don't see this as sexist. Posters here may think I'm over reacting but if it offends me as a female poster, don't you think that it might offend female lurkers? Or does any long term members here really care?

It's ridiculous how you are providing legal commentary from an armchair here in Canada and you expect individuals to assume you know all the facts.
