  1. What if you are a married gay couple? And you are christian? Do they have to practice celibacy because they are not man and woman? It's rather childish to think a married gay couple should abstain from sex.
  2. Why would a married couple be celibate? That is the whole point! A man and woman who are legally married can have intercourse. A married gay couple cannot. Do you not get the point here!
  3. They cannot because they are not man and woman. Unless they go back into the closet and say they are roommates.
  4. BC could not give any more examples. There are none to be found in Canada at the level of a law degree program. Canada does not want to go where the U.S. has gone with these ridiculous covenants.
  5. You would have to ask yourself why I would call only you an idiot when I was a new member. Why did I not call anyone else that? Hmmmmm? I will probably get suspended for reacting to your posts. So be it. I'm cool with that.
  6. Find more and show me at the university level with a law school degree program.
  7. You haven't really demonstrated an example like the Trinity University Covenant. I understand how discussion forums work. Please don't be condescending as you like to practice.
  8. I actually found it remarkable that you didn't receive a warning over this issue. And to insinuate that your comments were in the pretext of spirited debate is quite frankly, ridiculous. You have no clue about spirited debate when it is relevant to Canada. You just like to taunt canadians.
  9. That was a poor example of a canadian covenant. Give us another one.
  10. You are so off the charts with this response.
  11. Are you kidding me. This university does not offer a law program. Take a look at what they offer: http://www.briercrest.ca/seminary/programs Don't you subscribe to the same anti-canadian rhetoric. I can give plenty of examples, if you wish.
  12. I should rephrase that from requesting to demanding.
  13. This would be a first for a university requesting their students signing a covenant such as this in Canada.
  14. Great information Waldo! This should be reported, definately! It pisses me off when university and college students can't find jobs because of this issue.
  15. I'm throwing in the towel. Let's see how the next round of BC's accreditation unfolds. I have expressed my opinions and like i say, this is going in circles. I don't really care about legislation. I care about how Canada is proceeding with this covenant, which would be a first in Canada. I have already expressed that in this thread. It is wrong to allow this University to demand their students sign this covenant. Let's not got bogged down in legalize. Let's look at it from a canadian human rights perspective. We don't want to go down the road of the U.S.'s religious prejudical education system. Again, I repeat. This would be a first in Canada. Let's do the right thing for Canada.
  16. Report it to the CBC in Vancouver or the Vancouver Sun. They will investigate it if there is a story there!
  17. So this place is more suited for men, is what you are saying and will continue to be. Is that what you are saying?
  18. hard to ignore someone who is a billionaire and has control of thousands of rental occupants at his mercy.
  19. It matters a great deal. Men and women arrive where they are from very different perspectives and circumstances.
