  1. But this is exactly why I cheer Trump running amok over the "traditional" institutions and protocols that led to the stalemates in American foreign and domestic policies. Trump can't do anything about Canada's decisions to stay in the past and hide in America's shadow. If Putin or Kim need to be taken down....go for it Canada !

  2. 1. You response provides an excellent example of why incest should remain illegal. 2.Trudeau's father was part of a legal process carried out by many people that decriminalize a person for being gay. It has nothing to do with when gay men or gay women choose to have sex or how often. Sodomy which is what you were probably referring to by the way, used to be illegal for heterosexuals as well as homosexuals. 3.Trudeau was bisexual and never denied he was. Everyone in Quebec was well aware of this. If you need an up to date list of gays and lesbians which it sounds like you do go to: www.wheredotheyputit.html.com. Finally when you start a sentence with the words " it is believed" it does not make your opinion any more valid by distancing it's origins from you. Regards, Dr. Rue, proctologist to the stars

  4. I do feel better....Canada is once again a deadbeat (this time on emissions reductions), despite all the political window dressing to the contrary.

  6. Why should it matter? I am now a successful lawyer. But I have had some shortcomings. Among others: When I was in 4th grade I stole a $0.12 ice cream bar (in 1967) and got in some trouble; In the Spring of 1972 I tried to pet a dog who bit me. "Charlie" reported I bit the dog and my parents were asked to remove me from the school. I refused to go and the next year was better; In the summer of 1972 I had enough of someone picking on me and I threw a scissors at his feet, getting tossed out of camp for that; In college I got the school to allow me to drop a course without penalty at a point that it would have turned into an "F"; In the last semester of college I dropped a course, relying on AP credits to pass; In Law School I got Ritalin, complaining of ADHD when I wanted it for a stimulant; and Had minor scrape with the law about 25 years ago. More important should any of those things disqualify me from any job? Liberals are said to be in favor of giving second chances? Are they really?

  7. I need a lot more explaining because Canada hasn't led or followed on climate change based on actual emissions, failing miserably on Kyoto. Canada has the 11th largest economy in the world, so that lame "smaller power" excuse won't work anymore. Canada is also among the highest energy consuming nations in the world per capita. Pointing the finger at the United States does not make Canada a climate change hero, but it is a very typical Canadian thing to do.

  8. Bias? How so? Kavanaugh needs to follow the constitution, that’s it. If the laws/constitution need to be changed that’s up to Congress and the Senate. His record for making the best possible decision is impeccable. Dems don’t have an argument against that.

  9. It's not an insult if it's true. There is solid research that says people of lower intelligence are significantly more likely to have conservative and racist views (funny how those two always seem to go hand in hand). Oh, I forgot. Right wingers don't believe in science either...

  10. I must've missed something about Kavanaugh's background as a Federal judge. That's the newest talking point now....seen that brought up by several anti-Kavanaughs in another forum. Let me ask you..... In his 12 years experience as a judge, was there EVER a complaint against his temperament and his bias? I don't think so. In fact, just only a month or so ago.... https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/aug/31/american-bar-association-gives-brett-kavanaugh-una/ So, don't buy into the Dems' bull. We should keep in mind that Kavanaugh wasn't in that senate room last Thursday, sitting as a judge! He was there in the fight of his life - fighting for his name/reputation, his family, all the years he spent building his career, his legacy! What we witnessed last Thursday was a man being screwed and gang-raped by rabid Democrats bent on demonizing him in their desperate effort to get rid of him! We witnessed his rights to be presumed innocent until proven guilty, trampled on national tv!

  11. To be a Supreme Court judge, you need to have a passion for the Constitution and a passion for democracy. The Democrats have sullied both with their antics - and in the process, ruined Kavanaugh's personal life. If this travesty wouldn't invoke anger and disgust, I'd consider him brain dead and unable to connect with the people who should always be protected by the Constitution.

  12. It's really sad to see how low those Dems will go to get their way. When Michelle OBlahblah said "When they go low, we go high", what that really meant was "We will keep on going low until they go low as well, and then we'll start to go high." They're still waiting for the Republicans to sink to their level, if that's even possible.

  13. Spoken like a true silver spooned sheltered privileged entitled elitist. Those war bonds and the troops you giggle at took down a way of life you are so pampered and sheltered from you can't fathom it. This is why I have such contempt for this dripping elitist snot faced tone. You mock but you haven't a clue what you mock.

  14. Avenatti's client has the most interesting story line ever. 1st of all, it cracks me up. I burst out laughing the first time I saw it. Sounds terrible right, that I find a rape allegation hilarious? It's only funny because it's not even a little bit believable. Here's the thing, she says she went to ten parties where they were drugging and gang-raping girls. TEN! If you were a school-aged girl and you went to a party where you witnessed something as horrific and grotesque as a gang-rape wouldn't you report that to someone? Or at the very least, not go to the next "party" with those same people? How fun does a party have to be so that you say to yourself "It was an awesome party but the harrowing sights & sounds of the gang-rape at the end kind of brought it down a notch. Still, I can't wait for the next one!"? I'm literally blown away that no one on tv even talks about that. What could possibly have compelled her to go to a second party? Was Prince there? Michael Jackson? Did someone win a free car? And if for some crazy reason you went to a second party and the exact same thing happened again, wouldn't you quit right there? Nope, she went to a 3rd gang rape party. And she went to a 4th gang rape party. And she went to a 5th gang rape party. And she went to a 6th gang rape party. And she went to a 7th gang rape party. And she went to an 8th gang rape party. And then she went to two more gang rape parties. Is she really a "victim" now, or did she know exactly what was going to happen, and she basically consented to it by going there? By the 2nd or 3rd party she was actually more of an accomplice or co-conspirator than anything imo. Helping convince other girls to come to the parties. It honestly seems like a stupid allegation to bring up, really easy to discount it after all these years where none of these hundreds of victims or witnesses said anything for 36 years lol. But here's the BRILLIANT part. I gotta hand it to Sleazanatti.... It really leaves the door wide open for more "victims" to come forward, and their testimony is pre-corroborated by that of his client. If twenty random girls come forward (and they get to become part of history by stopping a Trump nominee appointment so why not?) it all makes perfect sense to the Demmie crowd. This is the ugliest, stupidest gong show to ever afflict a democratic society.

  15. BTW - For all you trying to keep up with the FBI, what they can find and what they'll report - doesn't matter. While the media is discussing the scope of the investigation, the dem's slight of hand has already happened. The dems knew very quickly that they would never prove him guilty of sexual assault, not with Ford's poor evidence. Kavanaugh was never fighting a sexual assault case, he was fighting a case of excessive drinking. If they could prove that he drank to excess, the dems could claim that he did it, but didn't remember. Kavanaugh's only defence is to say as a youngster he never drank to blackout status. And, that's also why they need Mark Judge (an alcoholic) to testify...to show "guilt by association'. They asked continually about passing out and he responded with "he never blacked out". Ford has done her job, she is passe', I guarantee the dems are scouring for evidence or photos of a passed out Kavanaugh for the inevitable perjury charge.

  16. The treatment of vets has become an open sore. Politically, the issue has been mishandled by two successive governments. The current government needs to make this situation right or face the political consequences for not doing so. At least Harper's government had a broadly-based antipathy to all manner of benefits claimants so could reasonably claim virtue in its consistency. With Trudeau, though, some interests and groups get special treatment while others are shunted to the sidelines, rendering the treatment of vets more apparently callous.
