Should our gov't be able to pass back-to-work legislation? The whole idea behind union / company agreements is one that allows either party to take a stand when being treated unfairly - primarily in terms of safety, compensation, or job security. In either case - by strike or by lockout - work stoppages are a true indicator that something is wrong with the status quo and should be allowed to play out in natural order. An intervention that expedites this process does nothing of value for either party, likely only conveniences a third party, and is prone to create a larger divide moving forward. Not to mention that a government that "tells" people what to do versus a government that "is told" what to do by its people turns a democracy into an oligarchy. - Is that the type of government we want in Canada? - I think not! What does everybody else think?

I found it very disturbing when we saw the mass destruction of ancient site in the middle east. And I also find it disturbing that these statues in the USA were removed. Erasing history from your immediate visual view will mean things are forgotten in time. No matter if the statue/monument represents something good or bad, we should not ignore the past, or we'll be going down that road again soon enough. Now removing statues is also being done in Canada. He could have said something like "The world needs to transition its dependence off fossil fuels"............but he didn't - because he and Butts want to be seen as virtuous eco-saviours by the UN and Davos crowd - at the expense of every single Canadian. And the media is either too stupid to put the pieces together - or they actually believe that staving our economy is a good thing. Israel isn't eradicating Palestinians at all. Pakistan "eradicated" people. By the hundreds of thousands. Millions. There's a big difference. You must be really mad about that because you're a humantarian, right? Or would it suit you better if the Israelis just killed all the Palestinians and then it could all be forgotten in a few years? Palestine will be just fine when they stop firing rockets and mortars, blowing up cars, being losers, etc. When I was younger I actually was pro-palestinian. Then the reality set in that refugee camps are actually just fiction. Those people aren't there because they need to be in refugee camps, they're just there to foment hatred against Israel. It's been 70 years now. Germany alone took in almost as many refugees in 1 years as the total number of refugees in Palestine right now. All of the Palestinians could have found homes long ago. The people who are using the Palestinians as pawns don't want a decent solution. They want to keep the hatred alive until they finally get the chance to commit genocide just like their prophet did back in the day. You're a tool for the people who want to commit genocide eyeball. A pawn.
