Ah, but you apparently fail to understand the "progressive" catch-all mentality that castigates as racist and bigoted any/all criticism of our open-ended immigration and refugee policies. Rational economically-justified criticism isn't permitted. The progressive assumption reverts to the notion that the motivation of the critics is always grounded in horrible, awful and deplorable intent. You can't argue with these self-styled progressives as their arguments and positions are grounded in emotion rather than logic.

For example if you speak about the economic downside of raising immigration levels, you are a bigot and anti immigration. If you disagree with the carbon tax, you believe pollution should be free, if you ask questions about Statscan mining our financial information you are anti data and make decisions based on ideology rather than science. It's quite a masterful technique actually and does influence a large swatch of voters.

And another sign. A man in Dunrobin where the tornado hit, was saying Enbridge gas company has done nothing to get the NG running. Ford had given him his personal number during the campaign. He phone it at 640 am, no answer. At 710 am his phone rings, he answers. Hey is it doug here did you call? Told him his concerns and he said he is calling the CEO of enbridge and will get something done. Liberals would not have even taken his call. A group called community living ,they look after mentally challenged kids and adults were told that they have to pay them $14 \hr for the little jobs they do. These jobs pay them a little money which these people, were so happy to get and show they are part of the community. Even the parents thought is was a great project, well these people no longer are doing this. A mother called doug and got him on the phone, he is now looking into this and has kept in touch with this lady. That is leadership and caring about the people.

Lets just say there's more than one hater in Canada. Fact is, this whole forum are full of people like that. They come here to complain about us.

That's right - because there are only a handful of those "right wing nuts" while there's thousands upon thousands of those misguided "social justice warriors" that permeate the Left. And of course you've conveniently forgotten James Hodgkinson - the Left-wing nut who carried out the Congressional Baseball shooting just last year. No emoticon. It's just not funny.

That MIGHT have some truth to it - but more troubling are all the Left wing activists that permeate most universities, Labour "rallies", and the eco civil (not) disobedience crowd. The Liberal Arts crowd have, over time, inundated most of the media and it's a fact that the vast, vast majority of professors are registered Democrats. VERY troubling is the resurrection of Socialist/Marxist/Communist ideology as viable alternatives to traditional market-driven Democracies. Schools and universities should be teaching the dismal failures - indeed, the human suffering of the Cubas, North Koreas, USSR and China to name the major ones - but they don't. There's a reason that Trump won the last election - ignore it at your peril because it's not going away.

I don't think this thread is dangerous, because Canadians consume so much American media and culture, even their anti-American rhetoric comes from the....United States.
