  1. I think Sap we need a coke. I would like to get one with the special names on them. I would like Don on my coke or Dick at this point. You know seriously I prefer Pepsi. That said I will say this. Back in 1949 when Israel was started the Arab League said to Coke, if they sold Coke in Israel the Arab League would boycott them. Pepsi, Schweppes, 7Up all the soft drink companies except Coke sold drinks in Israel. Coke told the Arab world to phack off. Interestingly the non Coca Cola products did not gain any marketing advantage over Coke. To this day you won't see Pepsi in Israel for that reason. Yah these boycotts really hurt those Israelis One of the reasons it is believed Coca Cola did not boycott Israel was that its upper echelon were believed to be religious Christians who felt Israel was destined. Jesus, Coke and the Jews.

  6. You yourself say it's a theory so no-one can know how true it is. Obviously there is a limit to the number of people who can live on earth. Natural disasters will not be a major factor in reducing population, unless you are factoring in some kind of global climate catastrophe. Population grown predates 'capitalism' as a thing. 'Consumption' happens in the animal kingdom so 'no' on that. 'Land' is a resource to sustain the population so that question is kind of both/same. Even if we consumed less there would be a limit on the population of the earth.

  7. Only because of stringent HR rules written, for the most part, by people with sticks up their asses and filled with leftist jargon that ignores human reality. "Hey, someone might do something." "OH MY GOD! We'd better impose a whole raft of rules barring any sort of conduct remotely similar to that!" I still have very, very good friends - the majority female -- practically family, from places I haven't worked for in a decade. I never would have made those friends if we had to act like robots and never say or do anything that might possibly be construed as offensive.

  9. Much of what he said may be valid. Like the employees not wanting to give him his documents back and the behavior and delays of the office staff. Some of his complaints may have some credibility. He is correct about the average person not driving exactly according to every rule. I have seen many people going past a small park and daycare school across the street over the 30 km/h speed limit. (there is very rarely anyone in the park and there is a fence along the edge of the park and a fence around the daycare) I go past always and have never seen any kids playing on the sidewalk of edge of street. It is also a fairly wide street. But I attempt to keep it at 30 km/h. But I do admit that in a driving test, the examiner probably expects perfection. You might lose some points for certain errors, but I am not sure that necessarily means you will fail the test. Depends probably on what kind of error you make.

  10. The government should not be in the business of selling car insurance. That should be left up to the private sector. We also have the BC government selling liquor in their own liquor stores and competing with the private liquor stores. Another cash cow no doubt. There is just to much government in the people's life. Fees for this, licence for that, permits for this and forced to wear that or else. There must be millions of laws and rules and regulations that we are forced to live with every day of our lives that can pretty much nail us on anything the government wants to nail you with. I am pretty sure that by the time you walk out your front door and walk to your car and drive to work you must have broken at least a few laws somewhere along the way. The government has us all by the pubic hairs, and they always make it hurt.
