Firstly, I do call several members of this forum LOSERS,. They are the ones that don't get they lost the election and that their leader even lost his seat. Secondly, as I said, there are thousands of homes for sale every month and they are selling. So, someone must be buying. II posted that the age of homebuyers in 1970 was 29 and 50 years later it is now 36. The link stated that lifestyle, staying in schools longer, having to pay off student loans and delaying having families are some of the reasons. I watch Carney at meetings with Premiers, closing inter provincial trade barriers, I see him at meetings with municipalities and letting them know what plans are in the works for housing and other federal assistance. I see him cancelling tariffs on American goods so we, Canadians, do not have to pay the 25% tariff on fruits, vegetables and other necessities. What I see from =the conservatives is exactly the same as before the election...only complaints and whining. Like Scheer said in the question period..."why does the leiberals delay the budget...it is a disgrace (and on and on and on) and Carneys response e was "Polievere has a book on what he was going to do in the first 100 days if he won and nowhere in that book was any mention of a budget." It is patently insane and undermines the entire democratic process to have the weirdo ad hoc mishmash of election law for federal elections that we see in the states. It's a federal election, it should be federally regulated and everybody should play by the same Playbook and one of the basic tenants should be that people need to prove that they are eligible to vote in order to vote. And honestly I just don't see how voting machines are making things any better. Canada uses paper ballots and we know our returns the night of in most cases with maybe a couple ridings up in the air sometimes, and our judicial recounts are definitive and very hard to cheat. The us uses these machines and it takes days sometimes to call it and it's always a huge fight. A democratic society that actually believes in its democracy cannot survive without the public having faith in the electoral process and I cannot see how any sane person would look at the American model and think that it is worthy of trust or can be considered secure. On the flip side we had something like two dozen ridings in Canada where it was only 100 votes apart and yet not a single person is suggesting that the election was stolen. Once in a blue moon you might get some weird circumstance where people question things for a moment but at the end of the day it's very easy to accept the final outcome because our systems are hard to cheat and you can look at the actual piece of paper and see what people marked
