GroundskeeperWillie Posted January 14 Report Posted January 14 I can't decide whether to donate to Gun owners of America or the Second Amendment foundation or the Firearm policy coalition What are the members' here's opinions of each of them? If you have limited money to donate and must choose one, which would you choose and why? Thanks. Quote
Nationalist Posted January 14 Report Posted January 14 Hmmm...which one best reflects your opinions on firearms. Which one has the most political clout? After all...is anything else more important? Quote Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.

It doesn't matter how people do it (through litigation, grassroots mobilization..etc). But I don't like the NRA though because of the corruption. Quote

I would agree the NRA is involved in corruption of government. So is every lobby group. I dont necessarily think additional firearm restrictions would be bad...or even inhibit any citizen's 2nd amendment rights. The issue, IMO, is that Libbies who howl about it, always insist on, A. Going too far. Are unreasonable. B. Lie as a matter of course, hence do not inspire a ton o' trust. 1 Quote Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.

But as far as I can see, they are pretty above board. They seem like real fighters to me, fighting for what they believe in. See, the thing I feel with these restrictions on firearms is that they are all incremental. Someone I used to know came up with a great name for it, "incrementalism". You see, the gun-grabbers are never gonna come right out and announce their agenda all at once, which is the complete and utter ban of all guns. Instead, they chip away at the 2A a little bit at a little. So little in fact, that most people are unaware that their right is under attack. But yes, I agree with you that the Lefties (which is what I think you mean by "Libbies") always lie. 1 Quote

I am not a fan of the GOA, they are far too extreme and would just as soon cut their noses off to spite their face. Also, not a huge fan of the NRA with Wayne's leadership, but I still support a basic membership. He is also gone now, but still not sure I trust the leadership to do much more than a basic membership. Donate to your state rifle association, where you can do more to help influence things at the state level. Quote

Test firing a MG 42 at 4am every morning in your backyard. Targets on every rooftop, sniper training schools in every town.
