The Trump Administration is following the authoritarian model of Russia. They want to kill the First Amendment.

I doubt the timing is coincidental:

In November, the anti-corruption organization founded by Aleksei Navalny had its designation ratcheted up from an “extremist” group to a “terrorist” group by the Russian Supreme Court. (It was for the crime of “extremism” that Navalny was imprisoned and lost his life.)

Mr. Navalny’s organization, the Anti-Corruption Fund, had already been labeled “extremist” by another Russian court in 2021, a decision that liquidated the group in Russia and sent most of its members into exile to avoid long prison sentences. Under the new terrorism designation, anyone who cooperates with the organization could be imprisoned for life.

Now, just a couple of days ago, Pam Bondi has ordered American law enforcement groups to investigate “extremists.”

She’s asked the FBI to compile a list of entities possibly engaged in domestic terrorism. Notice how broad and ill-defined are the criteria that might land you under federal investigation. Pam Bondi wrote in the memo:

"These domestic terrorists use violence or the threat of violence to advance political and social agendas, including opposition to law and immigration enforcement; extreme views in favor of mass migration and open borders; adherence to radical gender ideology, anti-Americanism, anti-capitalism, or anti-Christianity.”

It’s chilling, and certainly gives the government a lot of wiggle room. The signing of Presidential Memorandum NSPM-7, in September, set the stage. Under the auspices of that, you might be investigated for a donation to the ACLU.

According to the ACLU:

Like the president’s investigation into the Open Society Foundations and his order purporting to designate “Antifa” as a “domestic terrorist organization,” which is not a thing!), NSPM-7 is a deliberate attempt to sow fear and intimidate and silence opposition to the president’s abuses.

America will be annexed by Russia within three years.

Narrator: Nothing the administration is doing is designed to kill the First Amendment. Radiorum is uber mad that the administration is investigating ANTIFA for their lawlessness.

Wow, three "special kind of stupid" (the kind that Trump likes) posts in a row

When dissent becomes "domestic terrorism" you are no longer living in a free society

What is this "dissent" you speak of here, and how was that labeled "domestic terrorism?"

Yet again your comprehension has failed you.

Read the OP again - read it very slowly - and keep reading it until you understand it

(I don't expect to hear back from you on it anytime soon)

No, your ability to make any kind of argument based on facts has failed you.

Yet again, you just want to assert garbage and then run away when called out.

My reading comprehension is just fine, you offered nothing to read as an example of this "dissent" you are talking about being turned into "domestic terrorism"

You left out the part that mattered here:

"These domestic terrorists use violence or the threat of violence"

This is up to the interpretation of the government, and I do not trust them.

No, we have an entire justice system that exists to give people due process.

The government doesn't just get to decide anything more than to prioritize law enforcement efforts here to go after these criminal thugs.

Either way, you are glossing over your dishonesty here, as this has nothing to do with freedom of speech. It is VIOLENCE and UNLAWFUL VERBAL THREATS that are being targeted.

The U.S. Constitution is, increasingly, overrated.

Those that interpret are relevant .......... sort of.

Akin to Impeachment ...... at one time the mere mention would have political hacks pi$$ing in their boots.

Politics is becoming way too complicated .. the internet provides disinformation like water coming out of a fire hose.

Congress is a clown show - shuts down for long periods and the stench of corruption is at times overpowering.

But don't blame Trump  - he was elected.

No, blame the opposition and the pitiful challenge they put up to contest him ......

Some believe it was a Dem conspiracy - a Biden win and then a resignation - ushering in Harris.

I believe that ......... but more importantly, the electorate believed it.

The Left hasn't learned a thing IMO ............

You just posting random incoherent thoughts now?

The Constitution is dependant on interpretation?

Who interprets the Constitution?

....... see the problem?

The interpretation can be so easily skewed by politics.

If u rule the courts (any court) u rule the land (decisions) ............ and u do it legitimately

SCOTUS is somewhat akin to the Pope - no real way to enforce their decisions - they just arbitrate?.

Not so the STATE ...........their enforcement is vested thru that sacred document.

......... ever hear of the 'Enabling Act'? The enabling act vested absolute and legitimate power to the State ......... er, dictator.

What does any of this have to do with the price of tea in China?

What does this have to do with you trying to say it is increasingly overrated? As the Constitution has always been like this. Which again, what does that have to do with anything here?

Literally anything people do is going to be based on the people doing it… you have not described any problem other than people, which applies to literally anything.
