The AIDS budget has been cut. That tells me 2 things.

1. AIDS is not the issue it once was.

2. USAID was...and still is...a bureaucratic pig. Cuts in redundancy and other efficiency cuts are a good thing. And lets face it, these are doom's day reports made by the organization getting cut. Hardly an objective source.

I thought we were talking about commemorating World AIDS day per the subject.  Sorry, I don't know about budget details and not interested.  i agree that they can allocate budget as they like.

Commemorating not celebrating.  Like I said above, they do it for Cancer.

Who knows though... there's no saying why this changed, in retrospect.
