UN Staff Tried To Sabotage Trump?

The Times of London reported on Sunday:

"To mark Trump’s arrival, UN staff members have joked that they may turn off the escalators and elevators and simply tell him they ran out of money, so he has to walk up the stairs."

Oddly enough, that is exactly what happened:

"Video captured the moment when the escalator in the entrance hall to the UN building in New York abruptly stalled as soon as the Trumps stepped on it.

Melania, who was standing directly in front of the president and wearing high heels, jolted forward when it stopped moving."

Looks like the fix was in. Did they shut down the teleprompter as well?

Not a big believer in coincidence like this, but this is one of those kinds of things that is hard to keep secret. I wonder if we will soon see some leaks that suggest it was deliberate. 

Trump is not the kind of guy to ignore stuff like this either.

That article in my op is from Sunday. That wasn't today. This was predicted.

Looks like the fix was in. Did they shut down the teleprompter as well?

There is no secret remote control that secretly turns off an elevator right when some is about to step on it. Or one that turns off a teleprompter

Someone in Trump’s entourage bumped the emergency stop button on the escalator and Trump’s incompetent staff were operating the teleprompter when it stopped working. 
 

Trump sabotaged his own speech with his absurd, meandering, lie-filled rant that went on for over an hour when he was only supposed to speak for 15 minutes.

So you’re certain that there is a circuit breaker that controls JUST that one escalator and someone was down there standing by and somehow still able to see the president approach the escalator ?  Must’ve been the UN flew in some kind of A-Team specialists with cameras and walkie talkies to get that timing down that somehow even the secret service didn’t detect just so they could execute a covert mission to…make him walk up steps?  LMAO do you know how dumb it sounds?

A photographer in Trump’s entourage at the top of the escalator accidentally bumped the button, genius.

Yeah. I'm usually the first to speak up when a 'coincidence' like this happens so conveniently but the fact is 'bumped the switch' makes more sense than 'team of people coordinating to throw a breaker when they see trump step on escalator'. 

And teleprompters break, whether they're un ones or american.

I think this one is just an amusing coincidence. It doesn't have the feel of a deliberate act.
