Where do Canadians stand on protecting the Jewish state of Israel?

A so-called two state solution will not solve anything but would put Israel in danger of destruction.  The federal government supports a two-state solution, which is not a solution, but could be a death sentence for Israel.

Their ancestors paid the ultimate price in the Holocaust.  They know what could lie waiting for them if they put their guard down.  This is one reason many believed in the State of Israel as a refuge and home for the Jewish people.

This is a photo of mothers with their children and babies marching to the gas chambers during WW2.

It should be a reminder of what can happen in the world we live in.

Should Canadians not protect the innocents being killed by indiscriminate bombing by Israel? 

Really do not care what goes on in the Middle East. It has been a constant problem since State of Israel was thrust upon the world. Iran could nuke the entire region and it would not be missed.

Israel is a free, democratic Western nation amid a sea of barbarism, an outpost of civilization. Civilized nations should protect each other. There are far more barbarians out there wanting to destroy us.

Because they're better organized. That's why civilizations usually prevail. They had nothing when coming to a tiny area of the middle east which had virtually no resources and turned it into the richest, most powerful nation in the region despite being relentlessly attacked by the hordes of slavering barbarians around them for decades.

What problem? Jews in the US are vastly less likely to commit crimes, and vastly more likely to marry, support their children, go to university, get educated in a real course of study, and pay taxes than most other people. They aren't out blowing stuff up, murdering people, robbing people, or rioting. The are a boon to civilization and to science. A quarter of all Nobel prizes have gone to Jews. Virtually none have gone to Muslims, who long ago rejected science, math and philosophy.

The Jews aren't the problem. The savages around them are the problem. A reflection of fundamentalist Islamic sentiment in the area which is a Michelin Chef's recipe for more of what ya already got. 

One things for sure, when you're that hungry for more there's always seconds to be had and no shortage of servers willing to dish up a helping with your own words engraved on the bowl.

I was on the fence before but now it's a hard YES to compelled military service and two foreign deployments.

Palestine was a shithole, the ass end of the Ottoman empire no one cared a damn about. The Temple Mount was a long-neglected, run-down mosque of no importance. It wasn't even listed among Muslims as one of the important mosques in that region. Jews came in and made the desert bloom, and all the savages around got resentful and angry.
