Personally i think both of you should just get a room...either kiss and make up, or kill each other and save hundreds of pages of band width or put each other on ignore, saving the rest of us from scrolling pages upon pages to read the main post...Just a thought, putting some of my peacekeeping training to use...pistols at 10 yards, tonight at midnight, be there.

 I agree although he has made it impossible to make up. His total and constant disrespecting my dead Mother is beyond unacceptable.

Even you would not accept always being called a liar if you stated your mother had passed away. Why would anyone inform you if she had passed away...oh, he indicates it is to garner sympathy or favour. That is about as low as anyone can get.  Even you would not accept any besmirching of your family. Some things are just not to be tolerated by me or anyone on this forum and he has stepped over the line.

I have asked him to stop many many times. I have asked him to put me on ignore and he has not. I have him on ignore but I get notified every time he posts to me or about me.

He will respond to this and maybe even to your post with made up excuses and reasons. He is just that kind of belligerent and disrespectful person.

I do find it odd that the admins for this forum have let this go on.

Sorry bud, you'll have to talk to him. I just respond to his posts same as i do to everyone, he's the one who goes on 10 pages reposting the same posts and memes over and over  

I disagree with lots of people here and it doesn't go on 10 pages like that. I can't be responsible for his mental health issues.

Dude you have been going on about your mother for like a week. You have been doing the multipost rant thing for 2 years.

During that time I have practically begged and pleaded with you to smarten up and stop behaving this way. Every single time someone disagrees with you you go into these long rants and it's not even just with me

Just learn to act like a freaking adult and people will treat you like an adult. I disagree with army guy often enough but you don't see us going on 10 pages because he can't control himself and multiple posts across a dozen threads the same crap over and over while he has a hissy fit

I don't believe that for a second I don't believe he was, as you say somebody who makes that claim would never behave the way he has over the last two years. Somebody with that kind of actual career experience would not post 10 pages of ass porn just because someone disagreed with him.  This is the behavior of a teen ager, not a veteran  And i'm not the only person to have noticed or commented on that, 

Maybe his father or family member was and he knows a little bit about what was involved with it but I have never seen him behave in a way that makes me think he's past the age of 18

It is not, but it is also not Unexpected. It's the loss of his seat that's resulting in this, the guy is not in the house and he is not in the news. He's being ignored by the mainstream mediathat's kind of understandable. Add to it that we're in the summer now and people aren't interested in politics and they have a lot of election fatigue and finish it off with the fact that carney is basically promising to do everything that Poilievre said he would do anyway and the timing just isn't there for high numbers.

But he did hold it after the election for some time. I suspect When September turns around things will improve slightly and at the end of the day it's going to depend a lot on what he offers as a vision forward for the party at the party convention

I don't think there's any particular desire to remove him as a leader, and I don't think anyone feels there's someone waiting in the wings or could do a better job. But he will have to demonstrate that he's got some sort of plan to beat carney moving forward.

You also told us you triple the value of your home with a credit card. Some skepticism remains.

Here's the thing, if you were saying he was a decent leader before the election even though you disagreed with him or something along those lines or even acknowledge he was doing well for the party and then now came and said that it would have some believability.

But the fact of the matter is you've hated him for a minute one. And despite that hatred he has done very well with the party, even though he didn't win the election he got one of the best showings of any conservative for many decades.

So now that when you try and pretend that gosh, you really thought about it and you just feel it would be best if he wasn't here it kind of sounds pretty hollow.

Also you're borderline communist, so it seems unlikely you are a big fan of any of the conservative parties  

We'll see. If carney keeps his word then there will be a by-election shortly and come the fall poilievre will be back in the house and we'll see how he does. He has between now and January to come up with a path forward that's believable and winnable. And I think the shine is going to run off of Carney pretty quickly And we'll see if he's able to actually deliver anything he's promising.

The conservative party can make a decision at that point.

Wow, it's rare to see a post where literally every single thing and it is wrong   

He'll almost certainly get one more kick at the can. And he has plenty of personality and is far more experienced at the job then Carney or anybody else that the liberals have.

I do find it hilarious that the liberals argue that having done the job for 20 years is not a qualification for doing the job   Like if you needed a surgeon you would be out demanding someone that has spent most of their career as a plumber and claiming someone with 20 years of surgery experience simply isn't qualified  

And he's quite likeable.

You never lost a 24% lead in the polls. That's a childish thing that dishonest people say. He had a 24% lead in the polls against Justin Trudeau. If Justin Trudeau had run and beat him then you could argue he blew a 24% lead in the polls. But he never had a lead against carney, and in fact carney had them by 12 points at one point. So it would be more accurate to say that carney blew a 12-point lead to wind up with a 1 and 1/2 point lead and a minority government. And Nick Nano says if the campaign had gone on even a couple weeks more the conservatives would have won because carney was dropping in the polls.

I doubt very much the conservatives are going to be too quick to dump somebody who managed to get 41% of the vote. At any other point in history that's a majority government. As it is he managed to hold the liberals to a minority even though they got 43. The only real slap in the face from that election was the loss of his own writing which he should never have allowed to happen. But other than that while the result is somewhat disappointing I think generally speaking conservatives are fairly pleased with how things turned out. Minority for Carney, a heck of a lot of new voters for conservatives, increasing seats, and the NDP will never make the mistake of trusting the liberals or working with them that closely again.

If Poilievre can't make it happen the next time then he'll almost certainly be gone. But he'll most likely get that chance.
