You're FOS. Adams sucked up to Trump and agreed to help his MASS DEPORTATION plans and cut NYC sanctuary practice, so Trump paid him back with a very corrupt order to his DoJ to drop the charges. 🤮

Of course, it is without prejudice to make sure Adams keeps his word.

Apparently you missed the part where the order is NOT based on the merit of the case while the DoJ explanation struggled mightily to make very lame excuses which are as transparently corrupt as can be.

Adams pulled his head out of his ass. EVERYONE but hardened democrats understands that Federal Law supersedes woke cultists.

But they are saying that flight influenced his decisions as mayor. A decision, by the way, that led him to say they didn't have authority to do a fire inspection on a Turkish consulate because it's on Turkish soil. That's true.

You know a lot of times people try to buy people off not because they need anything specific at the time but because they might need something down the road. and that seems to be the case here.

In 2014, ADAMS was elected Brooklyn Borough President. Thereafter, ADAMS sought  and accepted improper valuable benefits, such as luxury international travel, including from wealthy foreign businesspeople and at least one Turkish government official seeking to gain influence over him.  By 2018, ADAMS—who had by then made known his plans to run for Mayor of New York City—not only accepted, but sought illegal campaign contributions to his 2021 mayoral campaign from foreign nationals, as well as other things of value.

...

In September 2021, the Turkish Official told ADAMS that it was his turn to repay the Turkish Official, by pressuring the New York City Fire Department (“FDNY”) to facilitate the opening of a new Turkish consular building—a 36-story skyscraper—without a fire inspection, in time for a high-profile visit by Turkey’s president. At the time, the building would have failed an FDNY inspection.  In exchange for free travel and other travel-related bribes in 2021 and 2022 arranged by the Turkish Official, ADAMS did as instructed.  Because of ADAMS’s pressure on the FDNY, the FDNY official responsible for the FDNY’s assessment of the skyscraper’s fire safety was told that he would lose his job if he failed to acquiesce, and, after ADAMS intervened, the skyscraper opened as requested by the Turkish Official.

New York City's. See, contrary to popular belief, embassies and consulates are not the territory or soil of the nation to which the mission belongs. oops!

Shit I don't even think Adams made that argument, you just made that up. Hilarious.

Problems with evidence or a weak case were NOT CITED by Bove as his reasons for demanding dismissal.

From Sassoon's letter above:

Quote

Mr. Bove rightly has never called into question that the case team conducted this investigation with integrity
and that the charges against Adams are serious and supported by fact and law. Mr. Bove’s memo,
however, which directs me to dismiss an indictment returned by a duly constituted grand jury for
reasons having nothing to do with the strength of the case, raises serious concerns that render the
contemplated dismissal inconsistent with my ability and duty to prosecute federal crimes without

It is UNPRECEDENTED for Bove deny any further investigation into that case, esp when the prosecution team was on the verge of filing ADDITIONAL CHARGES.

Try again.

The same way that Manafort's tax crimes from ages earlier, which the FBI knew about, suddenly became a big deal when the Dems needed false testimony and a some show trial results

If you're in the Dems' good graces then you're immune to prosecution, like Fauci and Hunter, but if you step out of line, the FBI is coming for you.

It's weird how all of these things seem important to you when someone falls out of favour with the Dem gov't, but you still can't see anything wrong with Joe and Hunter Biden both working for Zlochevsky.

Giggle...Adams found that loving the "asylum seekers" and assorted "others", resulted in a blown budget and a huge rise in crime. How interesting.

Slowly...the more centrist of the Libbies will begin to make moves like Adams.

Although...I would enjoy watching that Chicago mayor tossed in the clink.

Good leaders spot problems in advance and work to avoid them, when possible, or to mitigate the damage. Bad leaders, aka leftards, always have to learn from their mistakes.

Adams is better than most Dems at admitting to their mistakes, or at least he's better at realizing when it's time to stop ignoring problems/blaming whiteness for them, and start doing something about them.

^LYING AGAIN. Hunter was PROSECUTED "PARDONED"! The Cultist Nitwit Network didn't tell you about that or you wouldn't have just run your mouth to play the fool, again.

FYI Joe and Hunter were also pardoned IN ADVANCE for their crime of both working for Zlochevsky, the corrupt foreign oligarch. I know this doesn't make sense to you, but the VPOTUS isn't supposed to be on the payroll of foreign corrupt oligarchs, he's supposed to work for Americans.

And Fauci broke NO LAWS.

  1. Fauci funded gain of function research on the bat coronavirus in Wuhan
  2. According to the FBI, the bat coronavirus that Fauci helped create in Wuhan is most likely the one that "killed millions of people" and caused economic devastation around the world.
  3. Fauci told the world that the virus became contagious to humans by mutating in a pangolin (or other species) in order to completely drew attention away from the virus that he helped create, just a block or two away from the wetmarket

We both know if that if it was Trump who funded the GoF research in Wuhan, leftards would be all over a "TRUMP CREATED THE VIRUS!!!! HE HAS TO GET THE DEATH PENALTY" campaign, but because it's Fauci, you have to pretend that he's innocent, because to admit that he's likely guilty makes you a complete id10t for believing him that whole time, and for going along with his fascist/farcical advice

I'll say this again for effect:

  • According to the FBI, the bat coronavirus that Fauci helped create in Wuhan is most likely the one that "killed millions of people" and caused economic devastation around the world.

Not really. The quid pro quo is about helping ICE, not letting Elon Musk steal money from the city.

Actually, the dismissal was based on the lack of merit on the case.

Could you enlarge on that claim and show us why there is no merit to the case? It sure looked like it had some merit to me and to the prosecutors who were in charge of the case, several of whom were certainly not Democrats.
