Ridiculous that this question has been going on and on and on here.

There are TWO main parts to sexulality, the genitals and the brain.

There are male and female genitals (ignoring the extreme outliers).

There are male and female brains (much more complex and ambiguous).

They are NOT always synchronized when developing in the womb because they develop at different times and one is more sensitive to epigenetics (brain) than than the other.

The FACT is, individuals DECIDE which identity feels comfortable to them, and it's no one else's business.

No, there are not two main parts to sex. There is no science to back your BS up here. You are male or female based on genetics, characterized by having male and female reproductive organs. 

If you are male... you have a male brain. If you are female, you have a female brain. 

And if you are going to sit here and create a thread rambling off BS garbage about brains and bodies from a biology standpoint... why do you end with saying it is what people decide?

And you are confusing sex with gender.

There are two sexes male and female, or as we also refer to the men and women. That is purely biological

There are two genders, male and female. Everybody exists on that spectrum. Biology plays a role in that but so do other external sources. 

There are people who associate with being a different Gender than their sex. When those feelings grow to the point where they begin to cause distress or discomfort we refer to it as gender dysphoria.

Body dysphoria is a disease that needs to be treated. It doesn't matter how it manifests itself. Most people with body dysphoria have an aspect of themselves that they don't like. So they hide that aspect behind a new personality. But they don't have a male of female brain, in opposition to their body. They have a brain in crisis that needs help.

I can't cut bits and pieces and do this article justice. Using AI, they scanned resting minds of men and women. The big takeaway is that there was zero overlap. None. XX has an XX brain. XY has an XY brain.

They are going to use the same methods to scan people with gender dysphoria to see if there is a difference. I doubt they find a difference because there was nothing that overlapped. So the chances the brain is the opposite gender is very small.

You need to understand the difference between being transgender and suffering from gender dysphoria. 

Being transgender means that the sex of your brain does not match with the sex of your body.

Gender dysphoria is the psychological distress which results from having your gender not aligned with your sex assigned at birth. The treatment is gender-affirming care.
