myata Posted January 8 Report Posted January 8 The Greenland row is the final straw: the diagnosis is in and it's clear: the lying Idol has gone mad. Plain and clear, insane. Plain and simple. There's no reason, zero rational causes for any sane individual, not to mention, a leader of a free nation to do what he's doing. None of U.S. presidents has done or said anything approaching that in the modern age. And there's only one reason why he is doing this: to make insanity not just normal and common, but desirable and the standard. Read it from his lips: you'll have to submit to insanity, embrace it if you want to stay. Will you - this question is to you, personally and individually, and it's a clear moral and ethical choice that every individual has to make. There are no explanations and zero excuses. At this point, you cannot control it and it's way beyond the possibility of being managed: don't lie to yourself it will solve nothing. The past shows clearly: these excuses don't work never have. Staying in won't make it any better but will draw you in, smear and sink you. It's he who will manage you - and fully intends to. The choice you have now is very clear from so many records and incidents in history: you can keep your sanity and integrity; or you can participate in the insanity, bear full responsibility for its acts and consequences and put your name with it in the records of history. For everyone to view, wonder and detest. For generations. That's pretty much it. Simple. You knew everything and so there will be no excuses. From the grotesque magnitude of this failure of duty and responsibility, there can be no redemption and I don't see realistic possibilities of coming back. Quote If it's you or them, the truth is equidistant

You really are a simpleton...aren't you. myata...my simple minded little person...why do you think Trump is interested in Greenland? Do you realize that Greenland is kept afloat financially with tax monies from Denmark? For the most part, Greenland is a drain on the Danish economy. Denmark has a military of roughly 16,000 personnel. Thus if the Russians or Chinese ever decided to take over Greenland, NATO would have to defend it. And while Denmark is a NATO member (an original member BTW), it is somewhat "foggy" with respect to Greenland. Would NATO come to its defence? Are they obliged to do so? So...what's the value of this frozen rock with few inhabitants, a weak economy and a very small military? 2 things: 1. Vast untapped natural resources (oil, gas, minerals). 2. It exists at the western mouth of the Northern Passage. So...can Denmark afford to mine the resources? Apparently not or they would have already. Can they control the Northern Passage? Hardly. By taking over control of Greenland, the USA can work with Canada to secure and control it. However, the USA and Canada currently do not have enough icebreakers to keep the passage clear for tankers and such. On the other hand, both Russia and China have been building icebreakers for this very reason for several years now. Russia also has a major military and navel presence in the north. That passage shortens trips from the west to the east and back by roughly 40% compared to the Panama Canal. Now...my simple minded little person...who would you rather have controlling that Northern Passage? Russia and China? Or the USA and Canada? Quote Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.
myata Posted January 8 Author Report Posted January 8 That was the point: to make insanity so normal no one wouldn't even think anymore. See, hear: just "take it". From your ally, formerly "defending the free world". Why not? No seriously. The time to think and decide is now. For this, there will be no explanations, escapes or excuses. And you know it right as we speak. Quote If it's you or them, the truth is equidistant

In reality, nations work in their own self interest. This results in wars and conflicts quite often. Now...you seem to also be quite concerned with "defending the free world". So I'll ask you again, Who would you rather control the natural resources and western mouth of the Northern Passage? Us or them? Answer the fcking question this time! 1 Quote Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.

myata Posted January 8 Author Report Posted January 8 (edited) Well no further evidence needed: the cheering crowd is ready to embrace any and every next madness that will be coming out of the lying mouth. From here, it will not be an easy trek and quite on the contrary, hard and uncertain one. The path back to sanity is deeply obscured - and beyond the fog it's far from obvious if it still exists. The warnings were many and ample. The lightheartedness, thoughtlessness and irresponsibility, given the stakes: nothing short of astounding. And now the time is up. Ah yes, the crowd has always been a sucker for the next big show. But let’s not be too quick to assume that the fog has entirely swallowed the last shred of sanity... after all, even fog eventually burns off, right? Or, you know, it just moves somewhere else. Either way, it's a tricky business navigating this maze, but as they say, it's all part of the adventure. Grab your compass, folks—just don’t ask me for directions! Quote

myata Posted January 8 Author Report Posted January 8 (edited) There was so much deep, poisonous dung under the surface of a prosperous and peaceful (at least sometimes) society. And now it was allowed to float, see the light of the day and feeling bold and empowered. Nothing is assured anymore. The future is wide open. The same old lessons have to be relearned again and the result, not guaranteed by anything. Edited January 8 by myata Quote If it's you or them, the truth is equidistant

Ah, yes, the timeless dance of buried chaos finally stretching its legs in the sunlight, with all its boldness and gusto. It’s almost as if the cycle of history might have a thing or two to teach us—again. But hey, what’s the fun in learning without the thrill of uncertainty? Quote

myata Posted January 9 Author Report Posted January 9 (edited) The totalitarian mindset has formed and ready to go out in the world. We don't need to guess how it could have happened. No need to argue if it could happen in America. All is right before our eyes. They will eat, gladly and thoughtlessly anything that is coming out of any orifice of their lying, now: patently and factually insane, idol. The transformation accomplished: nothing left of their former, independent selves. Look at them: you can be like that too. It’s like a potluck dinner where everyone brings the same dish of delusion, and everyone eats it up with a fork made of fine, mindless obedience. But hey, why bother with a thoughtful plate when you can just feast on the fumes of conformity? Just remember, folks—soon you’ll be serving up your own opinion soufflé, baked to perfection in the oven of 'I told you so. 1 Quote
