K, first of all, don't call it "my side." Don't make the mistake of thinking you know me.

In all honesty, I think the inauguration is bigger than Trump. It's like a celebration of the democratic way. I don't think playing at it necessarily signals a support of Trump, but of the US in general. If you approach it from that perspective, then you should have no trouble playing at it.

But on the other hand, I do understand the very grave threat Trump poses to the country, and people are reacting to that.

Well, figuring the subject of this thread is what is being done by the left towards a band for daring to play at the inauguration, and instead of commenting on that you play whataboutism trying to deflect to Trump... you don't get to pretend like I don't know enough about what you post here to say this.
