You forgot "Do everything the exact opposite of how we did it for the last 4 years".

Ha! Well hilariously no, despite the fact that everyone hated the last four years and polling was clear on that and despite being given the clear chance to address that in a friendly talk show interview she STILL said she wouldn't do anything different.

" I am the true candidate of change! And i wouldn't change a thing!" LOLOL  You go Kammy!!!

Sunny Hostin was the one who asked her that, when she famously said that she wouldn't have done anything differently from Joe.

Sunny said that she was taking a lot of heat from people who felt like that Q & A session is what cost Kamala the election, but she said that she thought it was a softball question when she asked it, and then she just gave Kamala a second chance to get it right but Kamala didn't change her answer.

I think it goes without saying that everything the media asked kamala and Joe for the past 4+ years was "a softball question", but I don't think they were supposed to say that out loud.

If CNN gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

If you missed something on the Cultist Narrative Network, don't worry, the dolt horde here will make sure everyone hears it.

Exactly. At the end of the day she just wasn't a good candidate. The democratic voters knew that when they basically blew her off in 2020. She ran a horrible campaign and she just failed to perform at every level.

She's a narcissistic self-absorbed far left radical loony who's never had to win anything honestly in her life. And they thought she'd be a good candidate? She's been crap all her life -  It's like those Rice Krispies commercials, what the hell did you THINK she was made of?

I love the Venn diagram meme that has Kamala in one bubble and achievements in the other one, and they're not touching 😂

They're probably not just not touching, they're probably looking away from each other and scowling with their arms crossed ;)

I am on the fence. If the Conservatives dump PP, and replace him with someone who can stand up to Trump, I will vote Conservative.

You want them to do what exactly? Yell insults across the border? Think that's going to do much good?

Poilievre will do better than Trudeau, I'm sure.

sigh perfect example of why I Can never see myself voting for cons under PP  live on tv  muttering on about  trudeau liberals and ndp a clownshow being laughed at worldwide. and how common sense conservatives will fix everything while offering no policy lol.   can the guy act mature for once instead of like donnie jr's  classmate  with his personality?

Every opposition leader follows the same basic behavioural pattern. They call out the government for everything they can but rarely offer solutions until election time (and sometimes not even then) for fear the government will actually take their advice and fix the problem - which helps the government and not the opposition.

There are lots of Canadians who agree with Trump who says it's our fault that fentanyl and immigrants are making it into the US.  Quebec, Alberta and Saskatchewan are practically falling all over each other in their haste to take responsibility for doing America's job.

You guys are like adults stoned on LSD.  Get a grip.

It most definitely IS our fault in the outrageous lack of interest, care or screening we give to the millions of third world people flooding across the borders. We don't even do criminal background checks on the students, a million of whom we've let in, nor ensure they're legitimate students. Masses of foreign workers with few job skills who we also know very little about. Hundreds of thousands of 'refugees' many of whom just step off a plane with no papers, having destroyed them en route. And we've done nothing about any of it. So yes, it is our fault.

If by 'closest' you mean closest as in Newfoundland is closest to Europe.

There's one helluva distance between them tho.

That's why people who care about the environment want a party that puts the planet ahead of itself. What the Liberal Party really needs to be faulted for most is obscuring the importance of the issues Canadians care about. They've excelled at turning virtually everything they touch to shit. Even the pronoun folks are unhappy with them.

Canadians will never support a policy that will cost them literally TRILLIONS of dollars (as per reports) and achieve virtually NOTHING other than driving our industries offshore and hugely impoverishing us.

Annexed by the US , maybe...

Looking at getting a generac , that runs on propane...already have solar, heat pump, pellet stove....Home is only 8 years old so it is all up to date....

I looked into the price of a Generac for my place last summer. It was about $20k installed, and I'm not willing to go that route just yet. Too much money for too little reward.

Or do they like the Green POLICY? You know the one that will talk about it right there in the open.
I'm sure if PP would actually talk about their policy they'd drop 20 points in the polls. But then, they'd need some to talk about.

What is Green policy? Other than declaring war on Israel, expelling all our Jews, and bringing in as many Palestinians as we can?

I have a feeling that he will just copy his hero, Donald Trump. Trump campaigned on vague promises, and never really disclosed his platform. Trump would have lost the election, if he ran on putting tariffs on Canada, and cutting social security, and implementing Project 2025.

PP is not foolish. He will attack Trudeau and the Liberal, until he is blue in the face, but will fail to reveal anything of significance.

Actually, when you're as far out front as he is that IS by far the most likely tactic. Why provide the other parties with ammunition to use against you? That is not a tactic developed by Trump either. Trudeau's father used it himself.

marc carney is the only person who would have a chance and reversing them at this point I think. if the party picks freeland as his replacement there doomed lol.

Carney is a distant, lofty technocrat whose fixation on climate change would bankrupt us as it's currently doing to places like the UK and Germany.

We're letting millions of third world people flood across the border into the US...an this is a bad thing?

I wonder how many tons of fentanyl they remove from Canada?👍

I'm not quite sure you understood what I actually wrote.

We're letting people use us as a springboard to the US. They come in on some pretext and then head for the US border. If we were more careful about who we let in we wouldn't have these people going to the border.

In terms of drugs - we have no real law enforcement in this country, especially if you' 're a minority. You get arrested, and you get released same day.

dont worry once he starts talking in debates and everyday on tv in a election campaign hes gonnna drop some anyway . not enough to lose the election but i wouldnt be surprised if you end up seeing him win by  8-10 points instead of the 18-25 hes leading now lol. the guy is just not likable and being on tv screen for 30 plus days is gonna show that lol

Poilievre can handle debats. We've seen that in the House. And he can handle questions from the media if he wants to.

I thought so too. The biggest thing I need in a power outage is the means to produce water pressure coming in and of course the septic pump on the other end. I'm piecing together a 10000 watt system that'll do that plus give us lights and heat. We have BNB guests we need to keep happy too.

I figure the total cost including installation of the transfer switch to the house panel will be less than $4000.

I have another 3000 watt generator as back up as well.

Millions though? That sounds as vastly exaggerated as the amount of fentanyl people seem to imagine we're 'allowing' across.

In the meantime, won't the number of people we're 'allowing' across be offset by the millions Trump's policies will be chasing this way? And of course there's still the issue of how we should be retaliating against the US to for all the guns they allow into Canada.

It seems like all the onus is on Canada and right wingers are falling all over themselves in agreement with that.

Who's side are you guys on again?

If an election were held today, this is supposedly what Canada would look like. Other than some ridings in the big 3 cities, a couple of ridings near Vancouver Island, and about 3 ridings in the Maritimes, it would be a Conservative rout. The BQ has the ability to become the official opposition party for the first time since 1997.

It is becoming more and more obvious that Elon Musk is going to interfere in the Canadian election. To what extent, we don't know. He is already interfering in the German election, endorsing the far right AfD.

I don't think you understand what interference means.

If speaking in favor of one party or another is interference than Trudeau interfere with the American election to a great degree.

If all you mean is that he intends to say that Trudeau is a lunatic and Poilievre would be better then I'm sure that's true considering he's already said that. Whether that swings people in favor of or against Poilievre is questionable.

But i do love that you're working hard already to blame the loss on anyone but the liberals and their horrible track record :)
