So, nothing related to engaging in any violence, or incitement, etc... or anything around a "fedsurrection"

Got it.

Many people who are arrested and sitting in prison right now didn't engage in any violence but are still being dubbed as insurrectionists or in your case a violent mob.

Are you claiming those people in prison right now are insurrectionists? I am not sure what your point is here.

I did not claim people that did not engage in any violence were the violent mob, but there certainly was a violent mob that day many of those involved are in prison for that while others there did engage in non-violent illegal activity as well.

And my point is these folks are sitting in a prison cell, some for 3 or 4 years without any sort of trial date set, for the equivalent of a trespassing charge while the folks at the FBI continue to fuel the narrative set by politicians, the press, and pay informants for basically doing the same thing.

Let me guess: you don't care about this thread 🤣

Can you do me a favour and just go into all the threads on this forum that I haven't replied to and just say "WestCanMan doesn't care about this thread"? It never occurs to me to go do that, but I guess it's a thing now.

Conspiracy theory or conspiracy reality?

I lean toward conspiracy reality

Two dozen FBI assets running around wreaking havoc, exactly like agent provocateurs would do...

Ray Epps blatantly committing sedition and not being charged...

Pelosi et al being made aware that there would be a protest there, but opting to leave the entrances to the capitol virtually unguarded and then putting 20,000 troops & barbed wire there for weeks after the risk of rioting was completely over...

There's far more substance to this than there ever was to Russian collusion.

As you said, none of them were authorized to engage in any illegal activity and the vast majority of them were not even there with the knowledge of the FBI.

How could you possibly know any of that?

The FBI lies directly to judges, they even falsify evidence and provide that to judges.

The FBI lied about Russian collusion thousands of times, they lied about Ukrainian collusion, the laptop, Ray Epps, General Flynn, the Whitmer entrapment scandal (FBI credit cards were used to buy guns, ammo, explosives, rent hotel rooms, and the FBI even brought weed to get guys high), they even lied about the presence of FBI assets right at the capitol...

What makes you think that they're suddenly telling the truth about this one thing? That would be quite out of character for them, right? Is there some mysterious reason why they should get the benefit of the doubt right about now? Of course not. If the FBI is talking, you're a fool to not be skeptical.

And he's worth bringing up. The dude is all over the place, which means he's probably nuts. BBC reports at least 4 FBI informants entered the building, and Epps was probably one of them.

Epps did everything that he could to convince rioters to enter the capitol.

If you wanted to teach a lesson on what it takes to commit sedition, or to be an agent provocateur, it would describe all of the things that Epps did in perfect detail.

Was he dumb enough to enter the capitol after blatantly committing sedition for 24 hrs before the riot? I doubt it. The guy seemed to know exactly what was going to happen to people who entered the building. It was imperative to Epps that people entered the building, but there were no pictures of him after he whispered to that guy within 5 feet of the first barrier.

If the FBI charged Epps with sedition, they could have showed the judge a 2-minute video and dropped the mic.

Who is sitting in prison with no trial date set that is merely being held for the equivalent of a trespassing charge?

Let me help you out, no one is.

What evidence do you have that the FBI paid informants to do the same thing?

You are clearly ignorant of the facts.

Here's one example from 2023 where six Minnesotians were imprisoned and no trial date had been set in over two years

https://www.kare11.com/article/news/local/breaking-the-news/6-minnesotans-are-still-awaiting-trial-on-2nd-anniversary-of-jan-6th-capitol-riot/89-20147e5e-9a5e-49b4-8df3-abc25f07f35b

As an aside, in the US many innocent people plead guilty so they don't lose their shirts in legal expenses.

And spare me the bullshit that it's not happening.

You claimed it was for the equivalent of trespassing. You also claimed they were still in prison.

Try reading your links next time. Try to do a basic search on the people in the link as well.

They are either released or were charged with more serious crimes than the equivalent of tresspassing.

"James and Westbury are also charged with using a dangerous weapon to resist police."

Proven wrong yet you still persist.

"More than a hundred cases are still awaiting trial."

You are seriously not with it, bud and irrational. I've followed this for the past three years and now you are going to tell me not to believe my eyes?

Seriously your defending the indefensible. At some point you gotta put your big boy pants on and call out inhumane treatment of people.

Anyway, this is clearly going nowhere and your purpose is to belittle. It's pathetic

So... you have no examples then?

There are plenty of examples. Anywhere from prison time to house arrest for misdemeanor charges for doing similar things as the fbi informants. You can look those up yourself.

The Supreme Court even slapped down all the overcharging nonsense that was going on. You can check the SC dockets for that

Yet you are going to sit here and defend the FBI, the DOJ and everything else?

Most of this shit is going to get overturned within the next 6 months to a year anyway, cases will be dropped and pardons will be issued. You'll maybe be left with a few dozen legit cases but the majority of the spin from the organization that you are trying to defend has been bullshit and you ought be ashamed of yourself.

Most of the trials themselves were held off until this past summer. Election cycle with your vegetable of a president trying to hype it up. Do the math bud.

So many examples... you can't name one.

You are shifting that goal post to house arrest from prison now, too, and I still don't think anyone is on house arrest pending trial on the equivalent of trespassing for years.

The fact that most trials were in 2024 proves my point.

"But the people who are now being picked up and some of them have been jailed without trial for months, even years on end, did not commit violence. They walked through open doors, they were escorted by police, they felt that this was okay. And I think Jacob Chansley is a classic example of that."

Quoting Tucker Carlson proves what?

Jacob Chansley did not spend years in prison waiting for trial. He pled guilty, he served his time, he is already out.

Oh now you are getting picky on the "proof" you'll accept. Sorry not playing that game.
