That's true of most terms, especially ones involving politics.  I mean, what's the absolute definition of 'conservative'? Or liberal?  Conservatives like balanced budgets right? Chretien ran several balanced budgets so is he conservative?

It is generally widely accepted that "woke' refers to political ideas (or people who espouse them) that are considered to be of a more extreme left wing persuasion, often characterized by ideology rather than practicality or common sense.  Being supportive of the trans community is somewhat left wing. Requiring people fly a trans flag on their property during pride month or face jail time would be woke.
